The Niplate 700 coating incorporates ultrafine silicon carbide particles within hard electroless nickel. Niplate 700 provides all the properties of electroless nickel in addition to exceptional hardness and outstanding wear, abrasion, and impact resistance. These features allow increased lifetime and minimize maintenance-related downtime from replacement of high wear parts. Niplate 700 consistently outperforms chrome plating with numerous environmental, application, and performance advantages. Because Niplate 700 is an electroless process, it covers complex geometries perfectly, eliminating the need for subsequent grinding. Patented NiPLATE 700 solutions are available in economical, reliable chemical components.

Okuno Chemicals has considerable experience in providing electroless nickel plating solutions for plastics and metals offering four big electroless nickel processes. Long-life type Top Nicoron LLS can be used more than eight metal turnovers without new bath make up. High brightness Top Nicoron TOM can be used for general substrates. High chemical resistant Top Nicoron SA-98, P content 11% has higher chemical stability. Top Nicoron GM has good adhesion as an underlayer for gold on printed wiring board.

Enplate electroless nickel/PTFE coatings are a composite of electroless nickel and PTFE. These processes deposit a durable, dry lubricating coating that combines the low coefficient of friction of PTFE in a strong, hard matrix of electroless nickel. These coatings are a cost-effective alternative to expensive specialty alloys in applications that involve high speed/low load or slow speed/ moderate load under dry lubrication.
