Dina Wolfman Baker

Dina Wolfman Baker serves as Director of Marketing and Communication at PCG Public Partnerships, LLC (PPL), a subsidiary of Public Consulting Group. Reporting to PPL’s president and serving on its executive committee, she develops and oversees the company’s marketing and communication strategy and ongoing efforts in communicating with the media, the public, its customers, and the participants and providers in its programs, as well as government relations. Ms. Baker brings to her role 30 years of marketing and communication experience and a unique blend of strategic, leadership, and business development skills from the corporate and nonprofit sectors, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100s. Her expertise includes public/media relations, advertising, branding, public affairs, internal communication, change management, funding and development, eMarketing and eBusiness, strategic planning, client services, and government relations.

AFFILIATIONS
Dina serves as a mentor and advocates for formal mentoring as a component of leadership development. In support of this philosophy, she directs leadership and professional development efforts for the Boston chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators, where she is establishing its student and professional mentoring programs. She has served on the board of Linda Creed, a breast cancer organization, for which she chaired the marketing committee. She also has served on the board and held a wide variety of leadership roles at Beth Sholom Congregation in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, including heading the communication committee for a major capital campaign. She established in 2012, and chairs the board of trustees for, The Bernard Wolfman Civil Discourse Project (www.CivilDiscourseProject.org). A member of Minnesuing Group, American Marketing Association and International Association of Business Communicators, Dina is committed to ongoing development, learning and participation.

EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining PPL, Ms. Baker was Chief Communication Officer at Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC), a nonprofit institute for public health. In addition to serving on the organization’s strategic leadership team, she oversaw a marketing, communication and PR group that handled all of the corporation’s internal and external communications and provided marketing and communication strategy and professional agency services to PHMC’s internal programs, affiliate organizations and external consulting clients. Ms. Baker also has worked in marketing and communication at CIGNA Corporation and DuPont.

EDUCATION
Ms. Baker earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University.
