Concept: A re-brand of a unisex hair salon, based around the idea of diversity, heritage and eclectic taste. The name Eclettico is the Italian translation of Ecletic - the word my client uses to describe himself and his business.

Audience: Tone of Voice: The main target audience will be his existing Inclusive, welcoming, friendly, diverse, customers, as well as the secondary audience contemporary, trust worthy, modern and unisex. being new clients through the re-branding and new promotional material.

The Message: A young, fresh and new unisex hair salon, who focus on a diverse range of hair, and eclectic tastes.

Visual Language: Contemporary digital collage has been used to create a unique, and unusual imagery of real hair, allowing a base for the design aesthetics, whilst reflecting the concept, tone, audience and the message at hand.

Collage: The visual above shows the collage which was created by hand, and then manipulated digitally throughout. Different shades of hair were used as much as possible.

Type Choices: Logo: Two typefaces were used for the branding and Two logos have been created to used with identity. One was chosen for headlines and the different meda - one in solid black, whilst the logo, Tommasso, whilst serif typeface Baskerville alternative is the same logo adapted from a Italic was used for the body copy throughout. clipping mask, taken from the collage shown above.

Price List: A double sided leaflet, which would be A5 portrait, folded vertically. Prices are taken from the clients existing price list, and contact details are also shown.

Business Card/Appointment Card: The business card also act as an appointment card on the reverse, allowing both promotion and good service, whilst reducing the cost of printing.

Colour Test Card: Colour test cards are for the hair stylist to fill in as a record of colour treatment from visit to visit. Two copies would be written on, being separated through proposed pre-perforated lines.

Client Testimonial: I asked Danielle Muntyan to design my business cards, price lists and colour test cards for my new salon Eclettico. Keeping a strong hold towards my heritage was very important to me as well as it been very important that my level of high professionalism was portrayed which I feel that Danielle has captured within this very personal and unique design. Danielle has kept in contact throughout the whole design, and allowed me add my personal input and opinions into the finished design.
