TITLE: TCC VAC Art Gallery

Music: coffee house background noise Actor1: hey man! Whats up? Actor2: Nothing much. Ive been viewing the gallery at the VAC. Actor1: I didnt know you were into dat. Actor 2: Yea! You know Im a student over there! Actor1: Ive been so busy I forgot. So tell me more about it. Actor2: I am taking a few art classes VAC which is the only free standing art school in the nation. And the VAC art gallery is a regional gallery. Actor 1: Wow. I didnt know that! So what do you do? Actor 2: I am working on a piece to put in the gallery. Actor1: Oh really, I thought art galleries only showed professional artists! Actor 2: Oh you being funny! Actor1: Laughing Actor2: You can say what you want but those artists were once where I am now. And some day I will be where they are now. Actor1: Um hmmmm! Well Ill be the judge of that. So when can I come and see it? Actor 2: Well its going to be displayed at the end of the semester, mid December. But right now VAC Gallery shows many different exhibits just about any type of art. Anything from canvas painting, glass and pottery, photography and graphic design from local and popular artists. VAC gallery has shown exhibits from the Chrysler museum. Actor1: Where is it located? Actor2: Olde towne Portsmouth, on the corner of High St and Court St.

Stephanie Buckley 11/19/2013 Art 209 Actor1: But isnt hard to find parking down there? Actor2: Not really cause they got parking on the street and parking garages in that area. Actor1: Hmmm! I dont know tho! Thats downtown Ptown and not much is going on out there. Actor2: Laughing Youre right bout dat but thats what makes VAC gallery so interesting because there arent any other art galleries in that area. Actor1: Aight den! Imma make my way down there! Actor2: Trust! I have eva let you down? Actor1: well there was dat time when Actor2: (interrupts) Neva mind forget I asked! But this time is different. Actor1: laughing Dats what you said the last time! Actor2: Well you know what they say about art? Its not art unless you see it and experience it! Actor1: laughing No dey dont! You just made that up! Actor2: Why do you always give me a hard time! Seriously, jus go to the TCC VAC Gallery M-F 9-5. And since you dont have any money, this is the only place you can afford cause its FREE!!! (laughing)
