Performance of the Class:

They are 8 students in the class and each student has at least the certificate of diploma in the Telecommunications. The learning level of the students has major different. Performances are Ahmed Al-Harbi and Ibrahim Ali . They participate very actively in class. Their contribution to teaching are good to very good. The work order and homework get quickly accepted. Also the presentation of results should be assessed positively. And we can see that in the right of average score of students in general very good.

I will teach the class ICT-TE7 and this lesson doesn’t need to workshop because it’s theory lesson and we need in this class some equipment like computer, projector and whiteboard. I will have many uses to make the lesson interesting. Also I will use motivation in class. It will be at the beginning of the lesson and this will make the lesson more interaction and also I will use Power Point slides, whiteboard and some exercises. It will help to deliver the knowledge to the trainee easily and I will show pictures to make the lesson understandable. Also I will give the trainee handout has a specific information about basic of Optical Laws.

The classroom 8.245 for this lesson in VP building and the lesson will starts at 7.30 am. I have theory lecture to have a good class using extra equipment: Whiteboard, Projector and Computer. We must check the media that we need it in our lesson before 2 days.

Course title: Basic of Communication This course covers an introduction to communication principles and fundamentals, including different types of modulation and demodulation techniques. Also, the effect of noise on signal transmission is described. Communication System Model (1)

Source – – Generates data to be transmitted Examples are phones and personal computers

Transmitter – – – Data are not transmitted in the form they were generated Converts data into transmittable signals Example: a modem takes a digital bit stream from a personal computer and transforms that bit stream into an analog signal

Transmission System – – Transmits data from source to destination Can be a single transmission line or a complex network connecting source and destination

Receiver – – Converts received signal into a form that can be handled by the destination device. Example: a modem will accept an analog signal from a network or transmission line and convert it into a digital bit stream

Destination – Takes incoming data from the receiver

Opining: Motivate the trainees by some (open question) to them about some pictures or video or did experiment to linked and make it related for my lesson.

Body: - I will explain the communication System Model by using projector and whiteboard. - In difficult points I will show them pictures, to make the lesson clear. - Continue explaining the lesson and let the trainees answer the questions "individual work" and make to them activities on Whiteboard. Make all trainees participate in the lesson. - Challenge between trainees by ask them specific questions, example" How the data transmission in communication system model?" - Make the lesson live by doing some activities like individual work and partner work. -Make all trainees participate in the lesson.

Closing: I will asked trainees what we learned in this lesson. I will give them short review about main ideas in lesson.
