Sara and Mark are again students at Chiang Mai International School. Sara is in 6th grade and
Mark is in 4th. Praise the Lord that they are both doing well in their studies and are glad to be
back among old Mends.

In our time away from Thailand we were able to retain most of our Thai language. We still need to improve and plan to work toward the Thai 6th grade equivalency test - the point at which one is
considered literate in Thai. Please keep our language development in your prayers.

We want to share just a bit about finances. We came out to the field with about 75% of our needed support committed. This covered all of our living expenses and just a little for work ftinds. To be at full budget we are still in need of about $500 per month in regular support for work funds. Please pray with us that the Lord will provide these funds from His sources inHis time.

which made the down payment possible and to my folks who helped to arrange a loan for the balance. Please pray that the Lord will provide so that this loan can be paid off as quickly as
possible.

We were recently able to purchase a truck for use in the work. We're thankful for special gifts

One of the big questions each year is "How is the rice crop?". Praise the Lord that this year the rice crop was good in the mountains near Pua. Many folks not only have enough rice for their
faniilies this year but also have a little to sell as well.

Being back in Asia means dealing daily with a different culture. Being back in the tropics means dealing daily with a whole different set of"germs'". Please keep our health and cultural adjustment
in your daily prayers.

Thank You
We are so thankful that we

can once again be living and working in Thailand. We want to thank and praise God for this gift to us. Thanks, too, to
