Kristen Rutledge is a native Washingtonian, a graduate of H.D. Woodson High School. She earned her bachelors degree in Computer & Information Systems in 1989 and continued her studies in the MBA program at the University of Maryland - University College.

Since the mid-1990s, Kristen has been an active member of the DC Chapter. She served ably on numerous committees at the chapter, local and regional levels. Furthermore, she has been elected to numerous positions.

Kristen R. Rutledge, is a native Washingtonian and graduate o School in the Northeast quadrant of the city. She graduated fro Technical State University with a Bachelor of Science in Compu May 1989, and continued her studies in the MBA program at th University College.

Kristen served as chapter president from 2011 - 2013. During Class her tenure, chapter the 2012 Large ofthe 1989 |won Computer & Infor Chapter of the Year from the National Black College Membership since th Alumni Hall ofDC Fame.Chapter Supported the chapters effort to donated over $400,000 to the annual fund campaign for the university.

Felicia is a native of Greenbelt, Maryland and a 1989 graduate from the School of Business and Economics with a degree in Business Administration. She earned her Masters in Organizational Development from Bowie State University in 1993. Felicias involvement with the DC Chapter began in 1990 where she and other recent graduates quickly became active in community service, fundraising, student recruitment and chapter socials. During the mid-90s Felicia served as the chair of the chapters annual Boat Ride fundraiser.

In 2004, Felicia became the first female to serve as the chair of the Board of Directors. Additionally, Felicia served the chapter as First Vice President (2007-09) and Second Vice President (2010-11). Furthermore, she served two consecutive terms as Recording Secretary for the National Alumni Association Felicia D. Brown graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High Scho (2009-2012).

Darryl Foster, born in Newark, New Jersey but raised in Atlanta, Georgia is a 2004 graduate of the College of Engineering with a degree in Computer Science. Since June 2004, Darryl has been an active member of the chapter motivated by our seasoned Aggies to take risks and hone his leadership skills. He served on community service committees, student recruitment and fundraising.

Highlighted Achievements
Anthony TJ Jackson is a Senior Engineer Rocket Scientists with the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. Born in raised in the District of Columbia he excelled in math and athletics which led him to NC A&T on a baseball scholarship. TJ earned his bachelors (1981) and masters (1983) degrees in Electrical Engineering with support from the GEM Foundation. His published thesis is entitled: Methods of Depositing Insulating Films on III-V Semiconductors for Device Applications. Since returning to the District, TJ has been an active member of the chapter serving on nearly every chapter committee and board of directors. He is also the chapters point person for both our Adopt-aHighway and Maryland Aggie tags projects. Nationally, TJ has been honored with the Young Alumnus Award, served as Parliamentarian, chaired the Constitution and By-laws committee and is a member numerous advisory committees for the College of Engineering.

Colonel David McElveen, US Air Force retired, was a native of Pamplico, South Carolina and the oldest of four brothers. A graduate from North Carolina A&T in 1953 with degrees in Chemistry and Mathematics entered the Air Force and served ably for 26 distinguished years. Upon retiring from the Air Force, Col. McElveen worked as a Student Affairs Administrator at the George Washington University. Even after retiring a second time, he served in various positions at Fort Foote Baptist Church. McElveens commitment to service was developed while a student at A&T and developed into active leadership at the local, regional and national levels. For many years, McElveen served as class reunion coordinator for the dynamic class of 1953. He actively recruited his family and youth from all over to attend A&T.

Highlighted Achievements
Lieutenant Colonel Eugene Parsons, US Army retired, is a native of Wadesboro, North Carolina. Presently he is a contract manager for The Ravens Group, a veteran-owned government contractor. Lt. Col. Parsons graduated from A&T with a degree in Accounting in 1969. He is also a graduate of the Armys Command & Staff College and Virginia Commonwealth University. For 24 years, Lt. Col. Parsons served his country worldwide. Locally, Parsons has served as a member and chairperson of numerous chapter committees. He also served as a Vice President and later President of the DC Chapter. Under his leadership progress was made toward obtaining an independent 501(c)3 designation for the local chapter. Furthermore, his leadership continued to keep DC has a leader in alumni annual giving to the university.

Oliver Farrand Wallace, P.E., known fondly as Ollie to family and friends, was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Bethlehem High School and briefly served in the US Navy. Oliver was a transferred from Penn State University to A&T where he graduated with high honors in 1953 from the College of Engineering. During his senior year, he met Ruth Carter whom he married in 1956 upon her graduation from A&T. Oliver served as a project engineer/manager for the Veterans Administration, US Army Corps of Engineers in government and private service worldwide. A fearless trailblazer, Oliver has traveled the world while always working to advance young black engineers and his alma mater. While in his semi-retirement he worked to support efforts to prepare for renovations of the Aggie House. Today, his wife Ruth Carter Wallace continues to encourage us to remember the work that Oliver and others have done and Save our Aggie House.
