Bracelet Instructions: 1. Cut the following lengths of metallic cord: (1) 49 of the teal, (1) 49 of the blue and (2) 49 of the gold cord. 2. Bring the cord ends together and fold in half. Bring the fold down through the center of the round disc. 3. Cut a scrap piece of cord (4+ inches) and tie it onto the center fold from step 2. 4. Align the cords as explained in the Beaded Kumihimo instruction booklet that came with the round disc. 5. Using the big eye beading needle, thread (32) 4mm bicones onto each cord. *The colors are randomly strung. A total of 70 champagne, 70 blue/purple and 116 blue/green bicones are used to make a 7 1/4 bracelet. Use additional green bicones to increase the length. 6. Wind each of the eight cords (with beads) onto a bobbin and close. 7. Follow the beaded instructions that came with the disc. Braid 1/2 before adding the beads. This section is inserted into the clasp. Remove the scrap cord. 8. Braid a 1/4 tail after all of the beads have been braided in. Remove the cords from the bobbins and from the disc and tie them into a single knot. 9. Trim the excess cord and use glue to adhere the clasp ends to each end of the bracelet tails. Necklace Instructions: 1. Cut the following lengths of metallic cord: (1) 180 of the teal, (1) 180 of the blue and (2) 180 of the gold cord. 2. Bring the cord ends together and fold in half. Bring the fold down through the center of the round disc. 3. Cut a scrap piece of cord (4+ inches) and tie it onto the center fold from step 2. 4. Align the cords as explained in the Beaded Kumihimo instruction booklet that came with the round disc. 5. Using the big eye beading needle, thread the following beads onto each string: (14) 6mm green, (7) 6mm blue and (4) 6mm champagne. Then string the center section: (12) 8mm green, (6) 8mm blue and (3) 8mm Champagne. Finally thread on the same amount of 6mm rondelles onto each cord: (14) 6mm green, (7) 6mm blue and (4) 6mm champagne. *The colors are strung on randomly within the bead size groups. 6. Wind each of the eight cords (with beads) onto a bobbin and close. 7. Follow the beaded instructions that came with the disc. Braid 1/2 before adding the beads. This section is inserted into the clasp. 8. Braid a 1/4 tail after all of the beads have been braided in. Remove the cords from the bobbins and from the disc and tie them into a single knot. 9. Trim the excess cord and use glue to adhere the clasp ends to each end of the bracelet tails.
