2014       Associate Producer/ Extras Casting Coordinator/ Stunt double for lead character “Petal” in ABC TV’s Maximum Choppage, 6 part TV series due to air in October, 2014. AFTRS Casual Tutor - Various Workshops for filmmaking, editing, fight choreography/ stage combat Villawood Storytelling Project, Vietnamese interpreting facilitator, Information & Cultural Exchange (ICE) Vietnamese Community of Australia (VCA) – NSW Chapter - Vice-President of External Affairs 2013-2015 Term. Artistic Director & Story devise, Women’s Refugee Theatre Play, Immigrant & Refugee Women’s Network. Show was performed on Harmony Day, Fairfield, 2013. Director/ producer for Cancer Council funded movie “Change Of Our Lives” - Feb-Aug – working on the concept development, scriptwriting, workshop development and training for this community based project. Roger Corman’s movie “Fist of the Dragon”, shot in Nanhai, China. - Assisting the stunts department as a workshop trainer, on set, as well as fulfilling the acting role of “Zhen”; killer assassin. This movie will be released in 2014. AFTRS Casual Tutor - MacArthur Filmmaking Workshop, Hornsby Girls High School, Fight Choreography/ Stage Combat Foxtel’s Chatterbox TV’s segment “Women In Action, Youth; Lily Simpson, Volunteers; Wentworthville Community Gardens, Taboo; People who eat bugs” - Responsible for the producing, hosting and and post production of the segments for the show. Screen NSW - Emerging Producer attached to the company’s development executives. Graphics design for org’s events as well as camera work and post production for “Inside Out” Workshop session. Intern writing team, Matchbox Pictures for ABC TV series “Maximum Choppage” [working title]. Artistic Director/ Trainer facilitator, Press Play Theatre Project, - Year-long theatre project working with young people from Fairfield & Lurnea High School in collaboration with young people from the regional farming town of Griffith. Final show was on the 29th of June, 2014 at Casula Powerhouse. Producer’s assistant/ Researcher, SBS TV 3 x 60 min documentary “Once Upon A Time in Cabramatta” due to air nationally in 201 2. - This show explores the Vietnamese refugee (a test case for multiculturalism) intake post White Australia Policy and their experience to the present day. I’m involved in the research, interviewing process and on a cultural advisory capacity. Founder of Digital Series Film Club, a film collective based in Western Sydney. Funded by Fairfield City Council. Urban Cultures Project Coordinator, Information & Cultural Exchange (ICE) - Working with international Canadian artists MC rapper “The Narcycist” and mixed media, visual and multimedia artist, Sundus A bdHadi in collaboration with local artists to create new works for Hip Hop Projections 6 Exhibition Multimedia/ film trainer, Canley Vale High School - Running a series of weekly workshops/ mentorships for year 10-12 on developing a short film that reflects on their experiences. Vietlish TV! - Vietnamese first online youth based dual language online content. Producer, JTV/ ABC “Downtown Rumble” – micro TV series Youth Digital Cultures Project Coordinator, Information & Cultural Exchange (ICE) - Empowering young people from Western Sydney via digital arts and multimedia Film producer/ coordinator, Rumble Pictures, Cabramatta - Make a series of works from documentaries to feature films that represented the Asian-Australian identity on screen.

2013 2011 2010 2009 Screen Acting Essentials; project to empower the Asian-Australian communities of Western Sydney in acting and fight choreography Quest for Jackie! Transmedia Nation-wide film art project that is about diverse communities weaving their own projects and initiatives with Hong Kong cinema and “Jackie Chan”. Koori Stories In partnership with Penrith City Council and Spyns Inc in delivering digital and traditional arts based workshops to young Koori kids in the Penrith area. Vietnamese Storycubes - $4000 for “Vietnamese Storycubes” – narrative storytelling intergenerational project with the elders of the Vietnanese Community. Ninjas of Dawn – A performative flash mobbing social experiment to test the themes of “racism”, “indifference” , “alienation” and “The Other”. Pop Series: Making shorts that Speak Out! – design and coordination of an Advanced filmmaking course for young people from culturally diverse backgrounds living in Western Sydney. 6 films were collaboratively made Artstart NSW Youth and Skills Training Grant - $55,000, Year long base funding for youth arts based training in digital media Mai Am Tan Binh – Artist/ digital media trainer in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam facilitating movie making and zine workshops with street children. The outcomes including award winning short film “Happy Dent”. Lattice: Sydney – Proboscis led, with Information and Cultural Exchange and the British Council in Sydney, a workshop with Western Sydney creative practitioners. Part of the British Councils Creative City project.

2013 2012 September, Judging Panel for “2013 Colourfest Pitching Competition”, Parramatta July, Asian Australian Alliance for Community Development speaking on “Asian Australian Voices” organized by the Australian Asian Alliance. 'Creative Industries, Youth Culture and Identity Politics in Southeast Asia' presenting on Vietnamese Indie film and Asian Australian film. This conference is a part of a series of events hosted by the Island Southeast Asia Centre along the theme of Intersections of Area, Media and Cultural Studies which aim to critically question the established understanding of, and the relationship between, these three studies, with Southeast Asian region as the object of investigation. What’s a Westie Story, as a part of the B-Movies initiative at Bankstown Arts Centre Facilitated by Lina Kastoumis. Discussions on mainstream vs community storytelling and how grassroots film-based initiatives can leave a lasting impression. The Transmedia Process workshop University of Hong Kong, Dr Gina Marchetti, Dept, of Comparative Studies. I did a presentation on how themes can have different angles of storytelling and how to employ different mechanisms to get your ideas out there. Ideas to Realities nation-wide workshop in partnership with Brisbane Multicultural Arts Centre, Darwin Community Arts, Perth Film Network, Community Arts- South Australia, Footscray Community Arts Centre and Hobart Salamanca Arts Centre.
