standard deviation: 1.78

The trials, both theoretical and simulated, had means that are very close (a .11difference),
so i can infer that the simulated probability is a "okay" representation of the theoretical
mean. The standard deviations, however, were very different, which could result from a
small sample size. Both distributions were heavily concentrated on the numbers 1 and 2
over all other possibilities.
Part III:

sample means
The calculated mean for the 200 trials was 2.60, compared to a theoretical 2.55 (a 2%
difference), and a tested mean of 2.44 in part II. The sample standard deviation for part
III was 1.63, compared to a theoretical 2.57, and tested 1.78 in part II. The result from
part III is significantly smaller (a 36% decrease) than the expected, or theoretical
probability. The standard deviation of the sample means in part III was .335, while the
theoretical standard deviation of the mean was .51 (34% difference).
