Parish Nurse For health questions/concerns, our Parish Nurse, Bette Olson can be reached on her cell phone (218-791-5151) and most Wednesday mornings at the Church Office. Grand Forks Food Banks in Dire Need Now through November 15th Zion United Methodist Church will be collecting non-perishable food items for our local food pantry. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to bless others! Your generous donations can be dropped off at the church in the Narthex. Thank you, JoAnn White Church Equipment Usage Please contact the church office if you would like to use/borrow items or equipment belonging to the church, as there is a new procedure. Project Homeless Connect Join volunteers from throughout the community at Project Homeless Connect on November 19th. A wide variety of volunteer opportunities are available. If God is nudging your heart about this, contact Carrie Jackson, Nursery Coordinator, for available dates at 772-3721.

Thanksgiving Feast On Sunday November 22nd we will have our 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Feast – a traditional turkey dinner with all of the trimmings. This will also be Consecration Sunday and Charge Conference. Our new District Superintendent will be with us as a guest. Food items that are still needed for this meal. Please email ( or call (218-779-9193) Linda Dobson or the church office for more information. A sign up sheet will be at the church for the next three Sunday’s.

Text: Hebrews 9:24-28 Sermon Focus: We should do our best to live righteously, but God isn’t standing by just waiting for us to mess up so he can turn the traffic lights on the roadway to eternity red and bring us to a screeching halt. In Jesus, God provides a way to keep the lights green all the way to heaven.
