,- PURPOSE OF THE JOB
1.1 To be responsible for the recruitment of franchise Instructors for further
Kumon ducational !K (K!K) "entres within a designated geographical
area.
.- LINE MANAGEMENT
#.1 $one at present% howe&er this is sub'ect to regular re&iew and may differ in
the future.
'- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(.1 To de&elop and implement all aspects of Instructor recruitment including but
not limited to ad&ertising% responding to enquiries% processing applications%
organising and deli&ering information sessions% inter&iewing and assessing
applicants.
(.# To work under the direction of the )ranchise *e&elopment +anager in
relation to generating candidate interest for specific geographical locations.
(.( To produce weekly progress reports for ,egional +anager and )ranchise
*e&elopment +anager on Instructor recruitment statistics including number
of leads% number of inter&iews% update on candidate progress and
con&ersation rates of each step of the recruitment process.
(.- .rocess franchise recruitment enquiries within agreed timescales% including
telephone screening and inter&iewing of candidates.
(./ To plan% arrange% facilitate and present at information sessions for potential
franchisee applicants. .rofessional and confident presentations to be made
to large si0e audiences of up to -/1.
(.2 3et all recruitment franchise candidates against agreed criteria e.g. le&el of
education% eligibility to work within the !K.
(.4 Inter&iew potential franchise recruitment candidates and make insightful
assessment as to their suitability for becoming a Kumon Instructor.
(.5 To gain knowledge of designated geographical areas.
(.6 To research media and other opportunities to attract applicants locally and
within a gi&en budget% under the direction of the )ranchise *e&elopment
+anager.
(.17 To work in con'unction with 8rand and "ommunications in relation to
$ational franchise recruitment campaigns% pro&iding input and support as
required.
(.11 *e&ise and follow marketing plans for recruitment of Instructors into new
centres and take o&er centres.
(.1# To work closely with and maintain effecti&e working relationships with other
),+9s and the )ranchise *e&elopment +anager to de&elop efficient systems
and best practice.
(.1( To attend% lead and facilitate (where appropriate) on e&ents pertaining to
Instructor recruitment.
(.1- To work closely with the )ranchise *e&elopment +anager to identify any
issues and concerns regarding Instructor recruitment and implement change
as and when required and or directed.
(.1/ To be assigned in pro'ect work as and when required i.e. assisting in
conference organisation.
(.1- To attend super&ision% training and meetings as and when required. There
may be a necessity for these to be outside of normal working times at
weekends for which T:I; time would be awarded.

procedures including but not limited to% health and safety matters% operational
and >, related policies and procedures.
