I will know that I have achieved
development in these areas once
I feel comfortable in embracing
different cultures. Also having
the knowledge to plan lessons
that involve aspects of different
cultures. As well as being
confident in my ability to
differentiate lessons to involve
students with disabilities.

This professional are will be
achieved when I can teach
confidently about the traditional
custodians and owners of the
land and what the rights they

will be implemented into every
lesson that is applicable.

Once I know my students and

Behaviour management is a
major area I need help in which I
feel can only come from my own
experience and taking
suggestions from previous
associate teachers and current
teaching staff.

Assessment is an area of my
professional practice that needs
to be developed because I
havent had much experience
yet. Being able to correctly
interpret students data will assist
with my teaching strategies and
overall judgement of students.
Standard 6 -
Engage in

professional learning needs

to the fact that I am not yet a
professional I believe this will
come from experience and
interacting with professionals.
When I have other teachers
coming to me for advice I will like
I have achieved this standard.
Standard 7 -

I need to make myself more
aware of the legislative,
administrative and organisational
requirements so I know what I
am to aim for. Again with
parents/carers I do not feel
confident yet in how I will
interact with them. I think this is
another aspect that will have to
do with experience and
professionalism in how I act.
