e-WOOF is a bi-monthly
e-newsletter produced by a
small group of Wyoming dog
rescuers in an effort to high-
light shelter dogs in critical
need of help.
e-WOOF spotlights many
dogs that face euthanasia
within days unless they
are rescued, fostered,
or adopted.
Transport can be arranged,
in most cases, to approved
adoptive or foster homes
or rescue organizations.
Please help us! These are
good, healthy, happy, lov-
ing dogs that are out of luck
and out of time. We urge you
to crosspost to e-mail lists
and Web groups, forward to
friends, send to co-workers,
and share with family. We
hope our efforts, combined
with yours, will save many
lives.
For the Animals,
Christina, Kathy,

RANCH is an 8 year old Heeler mix. He ended up at the shelter as
a product of divorce; neither of the people could fnd a place where
they could take him. He has been around other dogs, cats, and
children his whole life and is wonderful with all of them. He does
tend to get a little excited when he is off-leash and can get rough
with other dogs, but if he stays on-leash he is just fne. He would be
an ideal family dog, as he has had quite a bit of training and is also
very gentle!

BUDDY is a senior Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix. He is great with
other dogs and cats. He is a wonderful little dog with no bad habits
that we know of! He had been adopted out for a while but came back
because his adopter ended up being very allergic to him, and she had
nothing but wonderful things to say about this sweet little guy! He
would be great in pretty much any type of home!

DAPHNE is a 3 year old Kelpie mix. This little girl is full of fun
and energy. She is fantastic with children of all ages, but would be
best in a home without other dogs or cats. She is quite acrobatic, and
can jump very tall fences. In her previous home, she only had a very
small yard, so she may not try to escape if she had the room to run
that she deserves. She is very sweet and would be a great family dog!

TULI knows several commands, is completely housetrained, likes
to ride in the car, and is reliable with free roam in the house. Tuli
likes most dogs and enjoys roughhousing with her foster brothers
and running in the backyard. Shes truly a social butterfy and
makes friends wherever she goes.
If shes fed the right food (those
pesky grains make her itch), Tulis

LILY is a smart, active, loving

playmates and needs someone with love and patience to help teach
her manners when meeting other dogs. She will make it worth your
while to train her and work with her! Lily knows sit, down, is kennel
trained, and house trained too!
SHADOW didnt get her name from her gorgeous black fur but
because she loves people so much and likes to stay close to their side,
like a shadow! She likes other dogs and cats, enjoys short walks, and
is house trained. Even though she is older, she is full of personality
and gets around just fne! She is looking for a home where she can
nap in the sunshine or lounge in the house!

BAILEY and MURPHY. Looking for an experienced Boxer lover
who will enjoy these two characters and provide a safe, loving home.
Bailey (white Boxer) is 7 years old and Murphy (fawn Boxer) is 9
years old. Both are spayed, have complete health exams, are heart
worm negative, have microchips, and are current on vaccinations.
They are needing a retirement home TOGETHER. They
have lived with children, are still lively, and alert. However, they
are no longer athletes. Both have old ACL injuries, now with some
arthritis. No major health issues or expenses. Both are on weight-
watchers, doing well. They have GREAT dispositions, are happy
souls who need daily attention, big hugs, brushing, etc.

TROUT: Im a 2-year-old female, white and brown, Pit Bull mix.
Im totally house-trained and I do get along with other dogs but am
unsure about cats. I dont do well on a leash but with a little training
and nurture I am sure I can master it. Im very friendly and love to
be petted and love to give and receive affection. I love people and
would do great in a home with older children. Please come up and
see me sometime so I can show off my wonderful qualities. I am
spayed, current on vaccinations, and will be microchipped before
adoption.
TEMBLO is a one-year-old Shepherd/Saint Bernard mix. He is a
playful superstar who loves the outdoors. Temblo seems to be the
dominant alpha male around his dog friends but has been settled
down by one of his playmates here at the shelter. He would do okay
in a home with a young or mellow dog, but has played very well
with a very active lab. Temblo is house broken but he shouldnt live
around farm birds, as he has a fond taste for them. If your family
loves going on adventures and wants a best friend to join in on the
fun, you might be the perfect match for Temblo. He is neutered,
current on vaccinations, and will be microchipped before adoption.

TED is a beautiful 1.5-year-old Border Collie who was adopted from
the North Platte animal shelter, but was returned due to separation
anxiety. He is currently being boarded and is on anxiety medication.
The boarding staff loves him and reports he is an amazing, loving
dog. He just cant be left alone! He would be ideal for someone who
is home regularly, can take their dog to work with them, or has some
experience dealing with separation anxiety issues and can help Ted
cope. He is neutered and current on vaccinations. He is good with
other dogs and kids, but cats are unknown.

PLEASE NOTE:
Time is of the essence
for helping the dogs
featured in the e-WOOF
newsletters. Please
contact the name/
numbers for each
dog before contacting
e-WOOF.
In most cases, time
is limited for the dogs
featured in our newsletters-
with that in mind, we try
to get the word out to as
many contacts as we can
using this publication. Work
on behalf of the animals for
fnding them homes and/
or rescues comes from
many, many sources and is
an ONGOING effort dealt
with a sense of urgency.
In some cases there may
be times when a sudden
adoption and/or rescue
comes through at the
exact time our newsletter
is issued. This is an
unforeseen circumstance
on our part---while we
certainly understand the
crossover may cause
frustrations for you as the
prospective adopter of an
animal we hope you join
us in rejoicing for an animal
being saved.
We appreciate and thank
you for your continued
