MISSION STATEMENT & DOCTRINE:

ILCC will equip God’s people for works of service in their home, church, and local community through Christ-centered
programs while having fun in a safe and rustic environment. Our leaders will model a life worthy of the calling: being
humble, gentle, and patient by bearing with one another in love so that their lives proclaim the Good News of Christ’s
salvation.

Our teachings are based upon the following doctrinal statement:
(a) The Bible is the complete infallible and inspired Word of God, and it is our final authority for all beliefs and
practices (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21).
(b) God is our loving and just heavenly Father and is the supreme and sovereign ruler of all the universe for all eternity
(Genesis 1:1; Psalm 139; Ephesians 2:4-10).
(c) Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God (Matthew 16:16; John 1:14). He was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:25), lived a
sinless. life (Hebrews 4:15), and died on the cross to receive God's punishment for the sins of mankind (I Peter 2:24). He was
buried and then rose from the dead on the third day both physically and spiritually (I Corinthians 15:3-4). Christ is now in
heaven with God, His Father, but He will return to gather all Christians into eternal life John 14:2-3) and send the wicked to
eternal punishment in hell (Matthew 25:46).
(d) God's plan for our salvation is to:
1) believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son (Hebrews 11:6);
2) repent of sins (i.e., be sorrowful for and turn away from sin) (Acts 2:38);
3) confess Jesus Christ as the Son of God, our Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9-10);
4) be baptized into Christ by immersion in water for remission of sins and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit
(Acts 2:38);
5) be faithful to Him throughout life (Revelation 2:10).

Rules for acceptance into Indian Lake Christian Camp are the same for everyone without regard to race, color, national
origin, age, gender, or disability.
