Every year social security pays out a large aount o! oney to people. Social security is
help!ul to any ol" an" "isa#le" people, $ho can no longer $or%, yet "ue to the nu#er o!
people, $ho no$ have social security, the &.S has #ecoe #an%rupt, this has #ecoe a pro#le
$e nee" to !i' no$. Social security #egan as a $ay to help out people $ho $ere "isa#le" or
el"erly. To"ay nothing uch has change", #ut $e are seeing !la$s $ith social security an" are
currently loo%ing !or solutions.
The Social Security Act o! 1()* $as create" #y Presi"ent Theo"ore +oosevelt. It $as a
part o! his ,e$ -eal, $hich $as a plan to get Aerica out o! the "epression. .hen social

Social security is a great syste that !inancially helps out the el"erly an" "isa#le" $ho
