Down but not Out- Judges 16: 28:

Then Samson prayed unto the Lord, saying: O Lord God, re-
member me, strengthen me just this once that I might with one
blow take vengeance on the philistines for my two eyes. Alt-
hough Samson was imprisoned, humiliated, mocked, and muti-
lated; he was still breathing. The hair was removed, but the
head was still in place. In essence, he was down, but not out!

What makes a giant is not courage, strength, fearlessness, but
the ability to handle a fall. What sets apart the victor and the
victim: the victim succumbs to her situation and accepts defeat;
the victor refuses to stay down, and sooner than she falls she
gets back up again. She is like an inflated ball, when it falls, no
sooner than it hits the ground it bounces back again!

Love,
Chris

Knocked down but not knocked out-
I Corinthians 4: 8, 9: We are hard pressed on every side, but
not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not
abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. Paul had endured
tough times and situations in his life, he had known pain, suf-
fering, disappointment, persecution, lack, sadness, loneliness,
and rejection; and although he felt he was knocked down a
number of times, he was not knocked out! He was still stand-
ing.

I will rise again- Mark 16: 6:
You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He
has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him
(Mark 16:6). Although Jesus was humiliated, mocked, flogged,
nailed on the cross, and finally died, it seemed all was finished.
In the face of his enemies he was completely annihilated. But
although he was knocked down, he was not knocked out! He
had taken the licking, but he had not stopped ticking. After
three days in the tomb, He knocked the tea out the can, and
grabbed the victory out the grave. Because he was able to rise
up, so can you.
