Stratgie 6
Impress a French person show
how much you know!

Sometimes its easy to forget
how much you really can say and
write in French. For example, by
the end of this book, you can use
a French infinitive with lots of
different verbs to express a
range of feelings, desires and
intentions.
Take the phrase faire les
devoirs. You can use Jaime,
Jadore, Je prfre, Je veux, Je
peux, Je dois, Je vais and Je
voudrais to say that you like or
love doing your homework, you
prefer or want to do it, you can
do it, you have to do it, youre
going to do it or youd like to do
it. Or not, as the case may be
(dont forget to add nepas)!

First of all, write out all these
phrases. Then use another
infinitive or phrase with an
infinitive to make up some
different sentences.
Then show off to a French
person!

Turn to page 155 to remind
yourself of the Stratgies you
learnt in Expo 1.
