This following is a rare hymn of Lord Ganapati from Brahma Vaivarta Puranam,
Ganapati Khanda, Chapter 44. Lord Vishnu mentions the 8 most sacred names of Lord
Ganesha to Goddess Durga Devi Ganesha, Ekadanta, Heramba, Vighna Nayaka,
Lambodara, Shurpakarna, Gajavaktra, Guhagraja by defining the significance of each
name and declares that this hymn is the essence of all Shaktis and Arthas.
One who chants this hymn thrice a day enjoys all comforts, gains victory in all
efforts, gets all obstacles removed, and becomes disease-free.
Due to Lord Ganeshas Prasada, he becomes Mahajnani and attains progeny,
spouse. Even a dumb person becomes a great poet and erudite scholar.
