Project Remittance

Customer GE Card Services, Shelton, USA

Period Feb 2005 to Dec 2005

Description GECF is in the business of providing credit-card and other
related financial services to leading retailers across the US and
Canada. These services span the entire range of own-label
credit card processing services ranging from receiving and
processing credit-card applications to generating invoices and
processing accounts receivable.
When a customer pays his credit card bill (after
receiving his statement), for the purchase he has made over
the last month that is called payments and it comes to
remittance. In Remittance, we process and send it to
Receivables for posting into customer’s accounts. The objective
of Remittance offshore support is to assist the client in
maintenance/enhancements of the Remittance application. In
case of introduction of new client or change in the existing
system, Remittance offshore team is to assist the client in
setting up the test environment and testing the data received
from the new client and the application.

Project Mexico VRG Enhancements

Customer GE Fleet Services, Minneapolis, USA

Period Dec 2003 to Jan 2004

Description GE-Capital Fleet Services (GE-CFS) is in the business of
leasing vehicles to corporate, and providing all related services
over the life cycle of the vehicles. In other words corporate can
outsource their complete fleet management requirements to
GE-CFS. GE-CFS hence acts as a one-stop shop for all fleet
requirements of its customers.
Mexico VRG project was one of the most critical projects in
business point of view. This project involved enhancement of
the Vehicle remarketing system (VRG) for Mexico business. It
dealt with the automation of the remarketing system for Mexico

business. Currently this facility is available only to the US and
Canadian users. The primary objective of this project is to
extend the remarketing facility to the Mexico Users.
