ASTROS MANAGER BO PORTER:

Expecting Dallas Keuchel to pitch into the 9
th
inning:

“I’ll tell you what, he’s definitely in a groove right now and it’s a joy to watch. It’s good just to see the pitch-ability game
after game after game and how he’s making adjustments. It was good because [the Mariners] made adjustments on him
and he was able to even combat that by making another adjustment.”

Turned around the 2
nd
inning where [Keuchel] saw pressure:

“The second inning was the only inning where there was a little bit of stress, and from there on [Keuchel] was pretty much
on cruise and in control of the game.”

Starting to expect that every time Altuve gets on base that Springer pops one out:

“That would be nice, but I don’t think that’s going to happen every time. It’s a great combination at the top of our
lineup…It’s a good one-two combination when you have a guy like Altuve swinging the bat like he’s swinging the bat and
Springer’s ability to get on anybody’s fastball.”
