One compulsion to generate these “Blast” e-mails has been to provide like-minded individuals the fuel

that might help them enlighten their family/friends; that this is arduous is illustrated by an essay
explaining why people-persist-in-believing-things-that-just-aren’t-true, for it seems, “If new information
doesn’t square with someone’s prior beliefs, he/she discards the beliefs if they’re weak and discards the
information if the beliefs are strong. Even when we think we’ve properly corrected a false belief, the
original exposure often continues to influence our memory and thoughts.” A clue to formulating a
method to tackle this problem was revealed, noting that “Recalling a time when you felt good about
yourself make you more broad-minded about highly politicized issues; on all issues, attitudes became
more accurate with self-affirmation, and remained just as inaccurate without.” Therefore, it was advised
that people should “present issues in a way that keeps broader notions out of it—messages that are
not political, not ideological, not in any way a reflection of who you are.” In the comments-section, a
cite was provided to another article that advised the-best-way-to-win-an-argument was to provoke the
other individual to moderate his/her views by not requesting reasoning but, “rather, to explain how the
policy being advocated would work…tracing step-by-step—from start to finish—articulating the causal
path from the policy to the effects it was supposed to have.”

Gratifying is receipt of responses such as that which will follow; it was authored by the
individual with whom I had just disagreed regarding Corbett’s not challenging the DOMA
order by the PA-Supremes. She gave permission to recycle her quotes [“but don't use
my name as I have already had my 5 minutes of fame :-) and my comments were a
dialogue between you and me as I wanted to let you know that I appreciate your
diligence in continuing this awesome task of yours. I hope others have shared their
appreciation as well.”]. This is what she wrote:

Such interesting insights and links! Where do you get the time? Happy
you do have time as I barely have time to read it all:-)

You may be right about the Corbett race....I know pro life/DOMA
(Catholics, evangelical Christians and many Jewish conservatives), are
going to have a difficult time voting for him. As well, I know many
conservatives who say they will never vote for him because of the lack
of leadership he exhibited on many issues. They won't vote for Wolf
either, they just won't vote at all. If the race is tight, and the Dems get
the vote out as they did for Obama....It could be touch and go.

Personally I prefer Corbett as he is the lesser of two evils so to
speak. But I am very disappointed with his performance. With
reference to the Mahon article, as for his personality, Corbett comes off
as a nice guy, but like Mitt Romney a little uncomfortable in his own
skin. I also think Mitt was also more dynamic than Corbett.

However, Wolf is not very charismatic nor is he highly like able, so
personality is probably a wash.... Or maybe even a plus for Corbett.

Finally, money wins elections and Wolf is definitely at a disadvantage
right now, but I am sure the unions and other special interests will be
there to fill his campaign coffers.

Thanks for sharing all your work and great information and
analyses.....Always thoughtful, informative, and provocative.

P.S. I agree with your comment below about radical Islam being the
only problem....Yes our complacency is as well.... We are asleep at the
wheel and in denial....shhhhhh we don't want to upset them!

Another individual commented thusly on Corbett’s decision: “I don't have a problem
with Corbett not appealing on SSM, taking it off the table for November. Since SCOTUS
won't rule before November, it would have been up to the next administration to
continue the putative appeal or not. In the unlikely event that SCOTUS rules that states
can ban SSM, then one can reevaluate the political climate within PA. Until then,
Corbett needs to reduce the number of controversies and try to score some legislative
successes.”

Therefore, efforts will continue to present focused-data that SHOULD prove convincing, although those
that corroborate prior conclusions will be included if they add another dimension to appreciating a facet
of a profound concern. These efforts will also maintain focus on attempting to articulate what should be
done about a problem; for example, the recent spate of anti-Semitic violence in Europe [Fourth Victim
Dies in Jewish Museum Massacre; Police release CCTV of a suspect in the museum & Two Jewish men
beaten within an inch of their lives outside Paris suburb synagogue] portends increased Holocaust
Denial could occur [n.b., GERMANY CHARGED ALLEGED AUSCHWITZ GUARD, 93 & german-publisher-
shuts-down-nazi-glorifying-magazine] SHOULD add urgency to ongoing efforts [started by myself in
November, by others during prior years/decades] to ensure all high-school grads in PA have been
exposed to Holocaust Education. {Also, illustrating the danger of growing American ignorance is the fact
that MSNBC’s Touré Tweeted that Holocaust Survivors Benefited from the ‘Power of Whiteness.’}

Efforts will also continue to ID problems to the degree to which interventions are
warranted. For example, another reader lambasted me for attacking fellow-Republicans
for insufficiently acting conservatively, while the real “enemy” is the Dem-Party; my
response was to acknowledge the need to combat all-things-BHO, but also to work to
marshall the optimal resources to do so.

Therefore, when libs claim KARL ROVE IS SMILING due to the victory of
McConnell over Bevin [employing language that belies the prior literary
standards of The New Yorker when writing “Rove, the Artist Formerly
Known as Turd Blossom, has good reason to be grinning”], they
improperly suggest this reflects the demise of the TEA Party Movement.
Indeed, when they are then forced to admit that the victors harbor
“conservative views on most policy issues,” they are admitting that the
internalization of the TPM’s principles has increased the likelihood that
the nominee who emerges will adhere to fiscal restraint, etc. Yet,
portending additional conflict was the victory of Sasse, for it is hoped
that CHRIS MCDANIEL [who avers 'COURAGE' NEEDED TO FIGHT
NATIONAL DEBT, 'STATUS QUO' IN DC] will beat incumbent-Cochran;
notwithstanding the broad-brush condemnation of support from
Palin/Bachmann in the New Yorker piece, the challenger is not
demonstrating behavior akin to Akin/Murdoch.

Thus, everyone will continue to follow the Buckley Law, for one can anticipate fireworks
during ’15-’16 and the GOP’s forces will need to be up-to-the-task [probably, with a new
Speaker and, perhaps, with a new Senate Majority Leader].

The ny times published an op-ed that concluded the-tea-party-legacy is
unclear, claiming it may be contingent upon which of three individuals
are nominated by the GOP as the POTUS-’16 standard-bearer; the piece
ended with a set of predictions {which have been annotated} and then
with a punctuation-point {which may reflect failure of Chrisie}:

A Rubio victory would probably make the Tea Party seem a little less
ideological in hindsight, a little more Middle American and populist, and
more like a course correction after George W. Bush’s “compassionate
conservatism” than a transformative event.

{He has yet to recover from his having supported the Senate’s Amnesty
legislation, notwithstanding his retreat-posture that claims he was not
correct because BHO has not proven trustworthy…as it this suddenly
reached his consciousness-level during the past year.}

A Cruz triumph would lend itself to a more ideological reading of the
Tea Party’s impact, but one that fit readily into existing categories: It
would suggest that Tea Party-ism was essentially the old Reagan
catechism in a tricorn hat, movement conservatism under a “don’t tread
on me” banner.

{He’s my favorite, as people are reminded he ensured that ALL Dems
“own” ObamaDon’tCare simply by trying to defund its implementation;
also, he’s CORRECT on ALL the major issues, and his last-name should
help recruit the Hispanic vote (regardless of country-of-origin).}

A Paul victory would write a starkly libertarian conclusion to the Tea
Party’s story, making it seem much more revolutionary — a true break
with both Reaganism and Bushism, with an uncertain future waiting
beyond.

{His neo-isolationist foreign policy is a deal-killer, reinforced when he
disclaimed the capacity to stop Iran from nuking-up imminently.}

And what about a Jeb Bush victory, you say? Well, then maybe it will be
time to talk, not about the Tea Party’s unsettled legacy, but about its
actual defeat.

{The ability of Establishment-Republicans to find someone palatable to
the “base” will be problematic, notwithstanding the “last-name” issue;
Jeb is deeply-flawed both regarding Amnesty and Common Core.}

And reminders as to how problematic the Dems have become will be provided [NANCY
PELOSI ON PASSING AMNESTY BILL: LET'S 'EMBRACE... ESSENTIAL CHARACTER OF OUR
COUNTRY'], exposing hypocrisy [DEMS IGNORE THREE STABBING DEATHS, SEIZE ON
THREE SHOOTING DEATHS IN SANTA BARBARA] by citing common-sense observations
[BEN CARSON ON PROGRESSIVE TOLERANCE: 'ONLY WORKS IN ONE DIRECTION']. Also,
the cumulative effects of BHO’s policies [OBAMASCARE: Hospitals Cut Charity] and
exploding set of errors [White House Endangers Afghan CIA Official by Revealing Name]
will be tracked, as the message articulated by those such as Sarah Palin ['Un-American'
for Obama Admin to Treat Illegals Better Than Vets] is echoed by the GOP [House
Veteran Affairs Oversight Chair: VA Has Ignored Subpoenas, Inquiries], dems [Jim Webb:
VA Scandal 'a Leadership Question' More Than a Policy One], and dem/lib-media [VA
FALLOUT: BOSTON GLOBE, LA TIMES DECLARE OBAMA INCOMPETENT].

Recognizing the need to disseminate messaging that “Obama Lied, Al Qaeda Thrived, Americans Died,”
composing these “Blast” e-mails has occurred because it is difficult to find others [1]—“Meta”-analyzing
the available data, and/or [2]—finding key-defects in what has been disseminated. For example, it is
journalistically uncanny that the NY-Times explored The Immigrant Advantage without differentiating
Illegals from those who legally entered. It may be possible to compare/contrast BHO’s international
inactivity [Ukraine launches air strikes against gunmen] with what is anticipated he will articulate on
Tuesday @ West Point as his “Doctrine”; it will be difficult to square it with knowledge that the Saudis
remain deeply alienated, Iraq is unraveling, and Afghanistan leans increasingly towards the Taliban.
Throughout, evidence that BHO’s domestic policies that remain lax in efforts to fight Islamic Terror will
be disseminated [e.g., IRANIAN IMMIGRANT GETS LIFE FOR BURYING SON ALIVE IN TEXAS]. Finally, when
intellectual “sparring” is noted, it will be conveyed [Pope, Netanyahu spar over Jesus' native language],
for surcease is needed during these troubled times.

As Rod Serling used to say, “Imagine, if you will” the impact of the rise of el-Sisi upon
Saudi Arabia’s policies because the saudis are trembling quietly, having been alienated
by BHO [saudis say “we-are learning from our enemies how to treat the united-states”];
inasmuch as israel and saudi-arabia are already unlikely-allies, note that Brotherhood
ties have prompted Saudi Arabia to arrest professors and a celebrity-tv-preacher.

As Saudi-Arabia tightens laws to prevent all forms-of-abuse, outrageous
policies & actions remain ensconced: a Saudi cleric was caught on
video claiming that, in the afterlife, men will be married-to-four-wives
[each of whom comes with 70 black-eyed virgins, and each virgin comes
with 70 servant-girls] and discussing what will happen to their “earthly”
wives; SAUDI CLERIC SAYS FEMALE DRIVERS RISK DAMAGING OVARIES;
saudi-women defy driving-ban; a 19-year-old gang rape victim was
sentenced to six months in jail for the crime of indecency and speaking
to the press, plus 200-lashes; and after having been convicted of inciting
a woman (Nathalie Morin, a French Canadian living in Saudi Arabia)
against her husband and of trying to smuggle her and her three children
out of Saudi Arabia, Saudi women's rights activists Wajeha Al-Huweidar
and Fawzia Al-'Uyouni were sentenced to 10 months' imprisonment
followed by a two-year ban on leaving the country.

Also, policy-from-the-top remains anti-Semitic [adl said saudi-tv-runs-hitler-promo-for-
action-channel]. Note the regional effect of these policies, as Saudis gave $3 billion to
Buy French Weapons for Lebanese Army.

Meanwhile, a half-decade after most pundits had declared America the victor in Iraq, BHO has invoked
the self-fulfilling-prophesy of necessary-failure [including, of Bush-‘43’s 50K troop-surge]. Iraq-is-lost,
and the fruit-of-obama’s-abandonment-of-iraq is ripening; this squandered-opportunity did not occur
soley because of sunni-shiite-jihad, for Obama Hung Iraq Out To Dry Like The Wash [consistent with all
BHO’s promises, for they are linked to an expiration date]; thie explains why obama-refused-to-shake-
hands or take pictures-with-american-troops-during his trip-to-baghdad. As The plot thickens in Iraq, it is
only the adherents to Ron Paul who consider Iraq to be The 'Liberation' Neocons Would Rather Forget.
Certainly, America’s prior involvement with Saddan is sprinkled with intrigue [CIA helped Iraq use
chemical weapons on Iran]; I have a book that details how syria’s-chemical-weapons-came-from-
saddam’s-iraq [immediately prior to the invasion] and now Syria transported-chemical-weapons-to-Iraq.
Ominous are reports that Iran offered to help the Iraqi government fight “al Qaeda terrorists” in the
Anbar province, where radicalism and sectarian fighting have reared their ugly heads; curiously,
Western media outlets have reported on this story without comment, as if Iran was simply offering to
help a neighbor in need, or trying to play a responsible role in the international community.

After the US AMBASSADOR IN IRAQ said there were 2,000 HARDCORE AL-QAEDA IN
IRAQ AND GROWING, CAPABLE OF SERIOUS ASSAULTS [undermining BHO’s claim that
he had defeated al-Qaeda, here and elsewhere], it was not surprising that military losses
occurred in Baghdad [Car Bombs Kill 26 in Iraqi Capital], in the Anbar Province [Attacks
in Iraq kill 4 as Siege in Anbar Continues; Iraq: Fallujah falls to al-Qaida-linked group;
Islamist militants strengthen grip on Fallujah; and iraq-city-falls-fully-hands-al-qaeda-
group] and throughout the country [Assault on Iraq funeral, other attacks kill 96; AL-
QAIDA CLAIMS RARE ATTACKS IN NORTHERN IRAQ; and Bombings in Iraq Kill 52 People
as Maliki Appeals for International Support]. Clearly, the u-s-withdrawal-led-to-al-
qaida’s-remarkable-resurgence-in-iraq, and it would be wise to consult PRAGER
UNIVERSITY, which SHATTERS LIBERAL MYTHS ABOUT IRAQ WAR. Indeed, in light of the
failure of Iraq to remain sufficiently independent so as to support America elsewhere,
can it truly be envisioned that [famously hovering “over the horizon”] Americans would
return to the Middle East to train Iraqis? {Remember, saddam was a ticking-time-bomb.}

obama-lost-afghanistan-and-the-lives-of-1575-american-soldiers, for even the Afghanistan Times noted
that 'Obama's War...yielded Nothing but Collateral Damage'; simply put, reliance on drones is faulty, for
this isn’t a video-game. Exploring obama-and-the-use-of-force, from-afghanistan-to-syria, chronicles a
troubling-history but—following his pentagon purges—the U.S. Military Proposed a Shorter Afghan Stay,
noting that obama has even reduced the 2014-pay-hike for us-troops-still-fighting in afghanistan and his
leadership-vaccum [that is, failing to champion the achievements of these heroes] has made it plausible
for Neighbors to prevent an Injured Afghanistan Vet Build Home Because It “Won’t Look Right.” {And
would American Military History [pre-BHO] allow for the-u-s to leave a man in Afghanistan-to-die?}

The military trends are unmistakenly downhill [OBAMA'S PEACE PARTNERS: TALIBAN

PAKISTAN; U.S. Military Condemns Karzai's Release of 37 'Dangerous' Prisoners; Former

It is unprecedented for any combatant to declare the end of a war, absent approval by the enemny and,
thus, it is not surprising that a MAJOR UK AID RECIPIENT [INDIA] BUYS RUSSIAN WEAPONS FOR
AFGHANISTAN, as Pakistan Militants Prepare for War in Afghanistan following America’s departure.
Illustrating the abject failure of BHO to leave-behind any semblance of a structure that, for example,
would preserve women’s rights, are these reports: After $200 Million, Afghan Soldiers Still Can't Read
and Afghanistan IG: Opium 'Crisis' a U.S. 'National Security Concern'].

Evidencing how thoroughly america’s-middle-east-policy has collapsed is the fact that,
from around Aleppo in western Syria to small areas of Falluja in central Iraq, al Qaeda
controls territory that stretches more than 400 miles across the heart of the Middle East
[per English and Arab language news accounts, plus accounts on jihadist websites].
Indeed, al Qaeda controls more territory in the Arab world than it has done at any time
in its history. And that's not even counting the Taliban's comeback in Afghanistan.
