Singapore-listed DMX Group to provide Multi-Tiered Data Center

Network and Security Management Solution to a major bank in
Malaysia

Singapore, 23 November 2009 – SGX Mainboard-listed leading digital media services

and application solutions provider, DMX Technologies Group Limited (“DMX” or the
“Group”; SGX: 5CH.SI), today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Packet
Systems (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, (“PS M’sia”) has been chosen by a major consumer and
business bank in Malaysia to provide a multi-tiered network and security management
solution for it’s six-storey data centre in Putra Jaya.

The US$2.5 million contract awarded to PS M’sia is to design, build and deploy a high-
performance network infrastructure that creates a responsive and secured environment for
deploying existing multi-vendor services and applications over a single network in one of
the most demanding business environments.

As the base of bank’s entire backroom functions, the business critical data centre is at the
heart of the bank’s day-to-day operations. To ensure business continuity at all times, there
is a need for a highly resilient, secured, scalable and sustainable network infrastructure.
DMX’s multi-location network architecture conserves bank’s headquarters bandwidth for
corporate use while the multi-tiered security management application guards against the
spread of viruses, malicious attacks, and security vulnerabilities at the source.

contract, which is the largest for PS M’sia to-date, is indeed a breakthrough for the team in
