(a). A copper conductor of circular cross section 2 mm in diameter is 5 m long. Calculate

Calculate the current in a second resistor made of copper and having the same

(a). A parallelplate capacitor has circular plates of 8.2 cm radius and 1.3mm separation.

(i) Calculate the capacitance.

Question 4

(a). A coil has an inductance of 3.00 mH and the current in it changes from 0.500 A to
1.50 A in a time of 0.200 s. Find the magnitude of the average induced emf in the coil
during this time.

(b). A coiled telephone cord forms a spiral with 70 turns, a diameter of 1.30 cm and an
unstretched length of 60.0 cm. Determine the self-inductance of one conductor in the
unstretched cord.

(c). Calculate the resistance in an RL circuit in which L= 2.50 H and the current increases
to 90.0 % of its final value in 3.00 s.
