Position : Computer Assistant (Division - Management Information System of the
Resident Engineer’s Office)
Organisation : Intercontinental Consultants and Technocrats Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi.

Projects : (i) Four Laning and Strengthening of Existing Two Lane carriageway from
Agra to Makhanpur Section of National Highway No – 2 Km 199.00 to
350.50 (Grand Trunk Road Improvement Project, World Bank Funded)
being supervised by Intercontinental Consultants & Technocrats Pvt. Ltd. at
Agra (Since January 2002 to continue)
(ii) Four Laning and Strengthening of Existing Two Lane carriageway of
Km 8.00 to 24.00, Agra – Gwalior Project, Package NS/4 had Supervised
by Intercontinental Consultants & Technocrats Pvt. Ltd at Agra (from
December 1999 to December 2001).
Job Responsibilities:
• Maintained and Operate the Computerized Package of Management Information
System. CPMIS have contained important and useful information about the project at a
glance.
• Collection the data from Field Engineers and Contractors (i.e. Daily Work Programme,
Daily Diary of Field Engineers, Labours, Equipments, Hot Mix Plant Reports, etc). day
to day and Compilation and Preparation of Daily, Weekly, Fortnightly, Projected / Actual
Reports, Voluminous and Contractual Reports like Monthly Progress Report,
Engineering Report, and Quarterly Report under headship of the Quantity Surveyor
and Team Leader.
• Prepared a Daily Planned and Achieved Works Report (it is evaluation of per day cost of
the daily work done according to BOQ rates) under headship of concern FEs, Highway
Engineer and Resident Engineer and also prepared another comparatively statement in
between the Contractor’s submitted that report and our prepared report. That is called
‘Monitoring of Daily Planned and Achieved Works Report’.
• Maintained the database of actual status of the Receipt and consumption Materials at site,
Approval of Materials and other submittals (process and status). Prepared database of
Approved, operational and close Borrow Area, Status and complied properties of
Quality Control Tests and Independent Test Results (Internal & External Lab),
Maintained the Project Quality Plan’s format. Compliance of Quality Audit
documents etc. under headship of QCEs and Materials Engineer.
• Monitor the status of Working Drawings, Cross Sections and other submittals
submitted by Contractor for approval. Prepared a status report each of various activities
of Highways in the MCW, Service Road, Culverts, Drains, Obstruction Removal, TBMs,
FRLs, OGLs. Revisions of the design (Plans & Profiles). Other all various type data in
Highways related. Compliance of Site Instructions issued by FEs, Pictorial
representation of the Stage Approval after approval through RFIs under headship of
Quantity Surveyor, Highway Engineer and Resident Engineer.
• Prepared a Pictorial Status of Bridges, keeping all-important documents like Drawings,
Concreting records, BBS, Soil Reports, Lateral / Vertical Test Reports of piles, different
types of estimates and abstract under headship of Bridge Engineer.
• Prepared Monthly / Quarterly Environmental Report, Relocation of religious
structures and Median Plantation inventory, Accident Data record and Monthly Pollutions
Report, Progress of HIV/AIDS campaigning at the Villages and Dhabas in Highway and
Temperature Report under headship of Environmental Officer.
• Maintained the ‘S’ curve according to the percentage of the BOQ items wise which has
been evaluate by QS or F.E.s and PERT and GENT Charts of the work programme
through MS – Project which showing the target of daily routine under assisting of
Quantity Surveyor and maintain the records like Variations, EOT, DRB etc.
• Interim Payment Certificate: I assist to QS for Operational activities and Operate the
IPC’s Software for preparing the IPC.
• Taking dictation from Resident Engineer and Other All Key staff as per requirement.
• Maintain daily correspondences recording through computer programmes, cross-
linking, and status of follow up actions and controlling the filing etc.
• Preparing the slide presentations, site’s photographs and video recording through
video camera etc.
• Internet browsing and all activities of the computer related like CD’s backup, scanning etc.
• Develop some operational and functional mini programmes using HTML, Visual
Basic etc.
• Going to the site with Field Engineer or surveyor, E.O. for supporting the data
collections etc as per requirement.
• Keeping the MBs and Abstract books, Maintained Issued Drawings Register etc
• Keeping track on daily vehicles running and looking after all middle management
level works of the office administration (Stationary, Equipments status etc).
