These tariffs cannot be accessed by small business customers (electricity usage less
than 100MWh per year).

This tariff has a charge for the total amount of electricity used (kWh), plus a demand
charge (kW), for the relevant billing period. Prior to 1 July 2014, the minimum chargeable
demand under this tariff is 30kW.
From 1 July 2014, the minimum monthly demand charges on this tariff will no longer
apply. They will be offset by an increase in the service fee charged per metering point
per day.
You will now only be charged for demand use above a tariff threshold. If your metered
maximum demand for the month is below this threshold, you won't incur any demand
charges for the month. If it exceeds the threshold, you'll only be charged for the amount
above the threshold. The demand threshold under this tariff is 30kW.

This tariff is available for a period of no more than seven years from 1 July 2013. This
tariff may be suitable for customers with a good deal of night and weekend electricity
usage. Electricity is charged at a higher rate during the specified peak period and less
during the specified off-peak period.

This tariff is available until 30 June 2015 only. This tariff is not available to new
customers. This tariff has a charge for the total amount of electricity used (kWh), plus a
demand charge (kW), for the relevant billing period. The demand is a measure of the
maximum amount of electricity used at any one time. The chargeable demand in any
month is the maximum demand recorded in that month, or 60 percent of the highest
maximum demand recorded in any of the preceding eleven months, or 75kW, whichever is
the highest figure. This tariff cannot be used in conjunction with any other tariffs.

Your electricity charges are based upon the notified prices stipulated in the Tariff
Schedule. All tariffs, other than transitional and obsolescent tariffs, are set by the QCA.
Transitional and obsolescent tariffs are set by the Minister for Energy and Water Supply.
What is a daily supply charge? What is a daily supply charge?
The daily supply charge, also called a service fee, is a fixed amount charged to cover the
costs of maintaining electricity supply to a premises, including the costs associated with
electricity meter reading, the provision of equipment and general administration.
