Mission Statement: The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, screening and qualifying candidates according to specifications
provided. The role will assume end to end responsibilities of a country and will contribute to the growth of the systems and process improvements while
integrating with the regional & global strategy.
The position will conduct daily sourcing activities on a global basis for experienced candidates across all divisions. The Recruiter will develop and execute
sourcing strategies aimed at generating qualified candidate flow for high priority open positions and a strong pipeline of future candidates that fit the
requirements. Will also administer recruitment activities as and when required.
Main Accountabilities Dimensions
-Develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidate flow to
meet overall recruiting goals
-Identify potential candidates through the use of intricate Boolean searches, portals,
Employee referrals, manpower consultants, user groups, social networking, networking,
web sourcing, etc
-Call, screen and qualify candidates as per the requirement and assist them through the
recruitment process
-Integrate diversity sourcing strategies into candidate development strategies
-Prepare and post jobs on Inside and outside ABB intranet portal, parallely in external
portals. Manage the candidate flow by responding and updating as per sourcing list.
-Manage correspondence between candidates and hiring managers and respond to general
inquiries as needed;
-Coordinate on-site candidate interviews, working with hiring managers, interview teams
and candidates;
-Learn and gain knowledge on staffing policies and procedures and align work accordingly
-Will support on process improvements and policy reviews from time to time.
-Will effectively manage recruitment communication activities within the country.

Knowledge , Skill and Experience
-Minimum of 2+ years experience in Recruitment
- Must be Internet savvy and have internet/computer
skills to discover information and conduct research
over the internet (search engines, portals etc)
-Superior written & verbal communication skills with
emphasis placed on accuracy (including English)
- Ideal candidate will be energetic, work well in a team
environment with a high sense of urgency and ongoing
competing demands.
- Previous recruitment experience from agency or as in
house corporate recruiter is preferred.
- Previous experience working with an applicant
tracking system or recruiting databases is preferred but
not necessary.
- BA/BS Degree is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
