Some Common Instructions:
1. The findings and suggestions should be specifically addressing the objectives.
2. There should be a high correlation between title, objectives and the contents.
3. Plagiarism should be strictly avoided. Each chapter should be checed using some free online plagiarism
software and the approval from faculty mae final plagiarism in Turnitin and 15 to 18 percent
similarity in the entire report should be accepted e!cept bibliography.

Eg* table 1 in chapter 5 should be numbered 1.1 and the following tables within the chapter should be
numbered consecutively.
4ny other subtitles under 1.1 should be mentioned as 1.1.1, 1.1.2 etc. respectively.
#hart 1 in chapter 5 should be numbered 1.1 and the following charts within the chapter should be
numbered consecutively.
1". 3ist of charts@diagrams may also be included. 5f we have too many diagrams, we can have separate
pages mentioning list of charts and list of diagrams separately. 4nd this should thus be reflected in the
table of contents as well.
1%. 5n case of tables@charts referred from other sources, mention the source =in 4P4 format> below the
table@chart. These sources need to be mentioned in &ibliography also. :ention source =if any> below the

Basic Format Guielines:
1. Paper
9ood Auality, white, unlined, nonBpunched, e!ecutive bond, 0CD !11D paper must be used for the
original copy.
2. +umber of copies
The students need to submit TWO copies of the thesis to the Eniversity.

=including tables, headers and footers, figures, graphs and page numbers>. 8hen fullBpage prints of
photographs are desired, the image area of the print must conform to the same margins as the te!t.
%. ;pacing
The thesis including the declaration, certificates, acnowledgement and abstract must be 1.% spaced.
)ootnotes, bibliographies, long Auoted passages, as well as items in lists, tables, and appendices may be
singleBspaced. Gour thesis must be printed on one side of the paper.
(. Pagination
Each page of the entire manuscript must be numbered. Place the number for the first page of each
chapter in the center at the bottom of the page within the te!t leaving at least a 1D margin at bottom. The
placement of page numbers must be consistent throughout the manuscript. Pages should be numbered
seAuentially throughout the manuscript. There are to be no headings to the left or right of the page
number and header should not be used. Preliminary pages are numbered as follows*
The Title Page is counted as page i =assumed, do not print number>
2eclaration is numbered as page ii
#ertificate is numbered as page iii =print number>
The remaining preliminary pages, including abstract are numbered with lower case ,oman
numerals =iv, v, vi, etc>.
The main body of the te!t and the reference section are consecutively numbered with 4rabic
numerals beginning page H1D and continuing throughout, including te!t, illustrative materials,
bibliography, and appendices.
The first page of #hapter 1 will not be numbered, but will be counted as 1.

The title page provides a basic introduction to your research. The title for your wor should be a
meaningful description of your manuscript. 2o not put a number on the title page.

11. 4cnowledgements
This must be numbered with ,oman numerals.
12. Table of #ontents
4 table of contents is reAuired.
The format mentioned in the sample copy must be followed for Table of #ontents.
&e sure to include all main divisions and subdivisions within your te!t and 1.% spaces.
These pages are to be numbered with ,oman numerals =bottom, center of page>.
13. 3ist of Tables and 3ist of #harts
)ollow the format used for your Table of #ontents. Ese a separate page for each type of list. Ese
appropriate ,oman numerals. :ae sure to 1.% spaces between entries.
