Montage
Description: I was told that I needed to do a montge about something that I
am passionate about. I chose to do Audrey Hepburn. I love what she stands
for.
Process (Programs, Tools, Skills, Steps taken while designing)
I sketched on a peice of paper. I knew what I wanted on my montage.
I downloaded all the photos that I desired to use.
With the main picture, I created a new mask and made it black and white.
Ten I colored the bush that was pink. Afer that, I got the stamp tool and
flled in the space that had concrete in it. I did not want that to be an eye sore.
I made my very own text box. I was hard. But we fgured it out.
Chose the appropriate text and colors for everything.
Got the broach picture and took out the hard edges.
Message: “Elegance is the only beauty that never fades.”
Audience: Young teenage girls
Top Ting Learned: I learned patience.
Filter / Colorization used and where it was applied: Te broach picture and the
main background picture.
Color scheme and color names: Pink. Monochromatic

Brochure
Description: For this, I wanted something elegant. I decided to do a Summer Surf School.
I wanted to do this because I was having Summer withdraws and I wanted to have sum-
mer come to me in any way possible. So I decided to do a summer themed brochure!
Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): I used InDesign. I used the cop tool, and the magic
wand tool, and I used quite a bit in photo shop. I wanted the pictures to be diferent in
shades and color. So I fltered them.
Message: Tis is an everybody friendly school. It is safe and wholesome. If they want a
poor Summer camp to send their kids too, then this was not the camp.
Audience: Teenagers who come from a wealthier background. Parents who can pay for
their children to fy to Hawaii for two weeks wherever they are. I also wanted people who
wanted to chase their dreams.
Top Ting Learned: Placement. I worked on the “Z Pattern.” I wanted peoples eyes to fol-
low the pattern and get to the main point quickly.
Color scheme and color names: Dark blue and white. Monochromatic.

DESCRIPTION: My dad is a family physiologist. He has been using the same generic
business card and he always complains that it never shows his personality. He loves the
color red and he has four children that he calls he considers jewels. He is a very plain per-
son but strong in personality. So hopefully, this card gets across the idea of such a thing.
PROCESS: I think my biggest challenge was brain storming. Because I wanted to portray
everything that he is about. I wanted it to be simple like him but yet I wanted it to repre-
sent power. I worked with the path fnder tool. I experimented quite a bit with making it
3D. I learned quite quickly that even though that I think it is cool, it may not look profes-
sional. I divided the objects and kept them simple.
MESSAGE: Powerful yet approachable.
AUDIENCE: Parents who made need counseling or parents of children who may need
his services.
TOP THING I LEARNED: I learned quite quickly that even though that I think it is cool,
it may not look professional.
COLOR SCHEME AND COLOR NAMES: Red. Monochromatic Red, Maroon, Black
and white

Photo Design
Description: Tis experience has taught me quite a bit. I was going to go and snap shots
with a normal digital camera. Brother Judkins on the other hand encouraged me to
learn something new. Tis project defnitely has taught me to learn something new. I
grasped a camera for the frst time and began to grow a confdence in something I have
always wanted to have.
Message: Life behind the lens is something special. I began to see things in a new light.
I started seeing a vision of things. I was looking beyond what I saw. I decided to take
pictures in the Taylor quad and in the Gardens. Taking the time to see what the true
potential of nature was, I noticed that it can ofer me more than I ever thought. Tere
are so many angels to see things.
Process: I was taking pictures of trees. I started taking the normal picture of a tree. Like
a portrait. Ten I started lying underneath the tree and beside it and becoming one with
the branches. I was seeing things in an entire new light.
Font: Times New Romans
For this, I used Illistartor.

Advisertisement
Description: Tis is my frst project that I have ever completed with InDesign. I was
able to discover diferent fonts and really come to understand the importance of con-
trast.
Message: I had some amazing critique from my fellow classmates and was able to see a
new view. I have a lot to learn about alignment and I need to grow an importance about
that. Working with just diferent colors of gray was tricky for me. But being exposed to
the practice I was able to see a new view of beauty.
SkillsL Tis fyer may be rough, but though practice, I will be able to design something
simple into pure beauty and art.
Audience: Parents who made need counseling or parents of children who may need his
services.

Description: I decided to do Logos for a Dentistry. I kept them simple because that is
how you I have seen most dentists ofces do them. I wanted to do constant colors that
are not too changing.
Process: I studied the color wheel. I made sure that I was well aware of the color
scheme and what that entailed. Tis is a simple thing. I wanted to make sure that this
did not hurt a person eye. I messed a lot around with shapes. I duplicated and added
strokes where it was needed.
Message: Tis is simple. But yet I want people to see that there is a man looking at the
words. And I want them to have the “Z efect”
Audience: Tose who are graduating and looking for more improvement in their life.
