MemoryShape(TM) Breast Implants
A wonderful addition to our family of products.
Featuring a natural look and youthful firmness, these teardrop
shaped implants have been used for over a decade and in over 70 countries. They're now FDA
approved and a beautiful option for you and your surgeon to consider.
MENTOR MemoryShape(TM) Breast Implants are the latest innovation in breast implants. The
implants are filled with a highly cohesive gel and have a unique, tapered appearance. Unlike round
breast implants, MENTOR MemoryShape(TM) Breast Implants are teardrop shaped, meaning
they're thinner at the top and gently slope to a fuller projection point near the implant's bottom to
mimic the silhouette of a natural breast. Each MemoryShape(TM) Implant features SILTEX
Texture, a gentle imprinting process designed to help keep your implants in place.
MENTOR MemoryShape(TM) Breast Implants are indicated for breast augmentation in women at
least 22 years old, or for breast reconstruction. Breast implant surgery should not be performed in
women with active infection anywhere in their body, with existing cancer or pre-cancer of their
breast, who have not received adequate treatment for those conditions, or who are pregnant or
nursing.
There are risks associated with breast implant surgery. Breast implants are not lifetime devices and
breast implantation may not be a one-time surgery. You may need additional unplanned surgeries on
your breasts because of complications or unacceptable cosmetic outcomes. Many of the changes to
your breast following implantation are irreversible (cannot be undone) and breast implants may
affect your ability to breastfeed, either by reducing or eliminating milk production. The most
common complications with MENTOR MemoryShape(TM) Breast Implants include reoperation
for any reason, implant removal with or without replacement, and ptosis. A lower risk of
complication is rupture, which is most often silent (meaning neither you nor your doctor will know
you have a rupture) and can only be detected by appropriate imaging techniques such as MRI. The
health consequences of a ruptured silicone gel breast implant have not been fully established. MRI
screenings are recommended three years after initial implant surgery and then every two years after
to detect silent rupture.

MENTOR superior saline-filled breast implants come in a variety of shapes, sizes, profiles and
surface textures. They are filled with a saltwater solution that is very similar to the fluid that makes
up most of the human body. Saline implants are inserted into the body without fluid, and then filled
during surgery through a fill-tube to the desired size. When the fill-tube is removed, the implant
automatically seals itself. The Features:

Currently, this is the most popular saline breast implant choice for breast augmentation and breast
reconstruction. Round breast implant shapes are available in a wide array of sizes to accommodate
various body types. They also come in a High Profile style for greater projection in the breast profile.
Round breast implant shells come in two textures; Smooth or SILTEX Implant. SILTEX is a
textured surface breast implant, and preferred by some physicians, smooth surface breast implants
may be chosen because they are less likely to be felt through the skin and tissue.

SPECTRUM Saline Breast Implants
This saline-filled post operatively adjustable breast implant style is exclusive to Mentor Worldwide
LLC. It allows physicians to adjust the size of the breast implant for up to six months after breast
augmentation surgery. In a simple office procedure, surgeons can add or remove saline to adjust the
final size of the breast implant.
The SPECTRUM Implant is a technologically innovative design that allows surgeons to make
adjustments post operatively. A small, removable fill tube is left temporarily attached to the breast
implant after surgery. The tube is accessible to the physician by injection through the skin. In a
simple office procedure, breast implant size can be adjusted until the desired effect is achieved. At
this point, the fill tube is removed (again, in a routine office visit) and a self-sealing valve
immediately closes and seals the breast implant.

Saline Sterile Sizers
Saline Volume Sizers come in a sterile, single-use only package for intraoperative use. Sizers come
in all dimensions, matching our saline breast implant product family. The smooth-surface Sizer shell
is made with successive cross-linked layers of silicone elastomer, each cross-linking layer uniting
with the last to provide the device with elasticity and integrity. The Sizer is supplied with an integral
fill tube with a Luer adapter, and a two-way check valve to facilitate filling. The two-way check valve
is supplied sterile separately.
