Resume
Summary
I have been working in the visual arts for the passed 25 years. I currently own and run my own art gallery in Boise,
Idaho. Tis is the third incarnation of my gallery, the frst being in Sussex, England. Prior to this I worked for a
number of publicly funded galleries in the UK, including the Crafs Council, Islington, London, Kent County
Council and Hastings Borough Council. Most recently I completed my training to become an accredited personal
property appraiser though the ISA, giving me increased insight into the secondary art market, art investment and the
donation of artwork
I have owned, programed and managed my own gallery since 2007. Having worked as an Exhibition Ofcer or Arts
Development Ofcer for the frst half of my career, becoming an independent curator gave me freedom from the
changing remits demanded by funders in exchange for commercial business restraints. Tis has required the development
of new skills, from building management to fnancial planning. I am proud of the work my small staf and I have
achieved in presenting an exciting program of curated exhibitions, while balancing a sales income generated budget.
