DBBACK.X folders to store the 7 preceding days backups.
These folders should be backed up every day to tape or other

SMTP does not require a connector. For outbound faxes RightFax monitors a
designated POP3 account where users send email (with attachments) using a
specific header syntax. Inbound faxes to be delivered to a users email are routed
through the SMTP Gateway which resides on the RightFax Server
Lotus Notes does not require a connector. A Lotus Notes database (provided by
RightFax) is placed on the Notes Mail Server and is setup to synch with the
RightFax database. Outbound faxes (email with attachments) are sent by using a
specific header syntax. Inbound faxes to be delivered to a users email are routed
through the Notes Gateway which resides on the RightFax Server

using FaxUtil. CFG file provides information about the stored
signature (name, owner, authorized users) but does not contain
the actual signature image. The actual signature image is
embedded in the RightFax database for security purposes.

Attachments from FaxUtil or a Mail Client are converted to a modified TIF file on the RightFax Server and placed in the Image directory. RightFax uses
the INSO engine to convert all supported file types (DOC, XLS, PPT, TXT, HTML, GIF, BMP, J PEG) to TIF. If Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint are
installed on the RightFax Server (known as Server Side Application - SSA), RightFax will use the appropriate program to convert DOC , XLS , or PPT
attachments. Converting outbound PDF attachments requires that a separate RightFax PDF Module ($1595) be installed on the RightFax Server.
