About
Easily enter the scorecards manually or import the digital scorecards from your Garmin Approach (R) S2, S3 or S4 golf watch or Garmin Approach (R) G5, G6 or G7 golf GPS handhelds.
Keep track of the courses you have played, including course information and ratings. ApproachGolf calculates personal playing handicap and Stableford points for each round based on course rating, player's
handicap and score, and proposes a new HCP.
Use exible lters to browse individual scorecards for particular player, golf course, event type, year, handicap and more. Keep an eye on your handicap changes; calculate your potential handicap according to round
results.
Aggregated stats provide you with objective information that helps you understand your performance. Keep track of all your results, compare your ofcial handicap and actual HCP estimate for each played round
and review the results achieved on various golf courses.
ApproachGolf supports an unlimited number of players, courses and scorecards.

How to start using ApproachStats - First Steps
Enter the golf players data
Enter the golf courses parameters
Load the digital scorecards from your Garmin device or enter the golf round results manually. Assign the Player, Golf Course & Tee to the scorecard.

Golf Players
ApproachGolf needs to know basic information about players. Fill in at least the name and handicap info in order to be able to calculate Stableford points for played rounds.



Golf Courses
ApproachGolf needs to know course parameters to be able to calculate Stableford scores and your handicap progress. These parameters can be found on ofcial scorecards, golf clubs' websites or national golf
associations' websites.



Scorecards
Scorecard provides you with complete information about all rounds you have played. You can lter the view according to multiple criteria (player, course, year, round, HCP, hole number) or their combination.

Scorecard entry:
You can load the data from your Garmin device (supported golf watch or GPS) or enter the results manually.
To enter the data manually:
1. Push + button and ll in the hole scores.
2. Select Player, select Course, select Tee.
To load digital scorecard from Garmin:
1. Push "watch" button, push Load from Garmin device. If asked for, locate your Garmin - you should nd it in the Open dialog listed among Devices in the left sidebar (see picture below). Note: it takes a few
seconds after connecting Garmin device to the computer to be recognized. ApproachGolf will remember your choice and next time will load the digital scorecards without asking for Garmin location.
2. Select Player, select Course, select Tee.




Charts
Aggregated stats provide you with objective information that helps you understand your performance. Keep track of all your results, compare your ofcial handicap and actual HCP estimate for each played round
and review the results achieved on various golf courses.

Statistics
For selected player and year provides an overview about:
1. Hole scores (number of Albatrosses, Eagles, Birdies, Pars, Bogies, Double Bogeys, Triple Bogeys and Other scores played)
2. Average Stableford netto points on Par 3, Par 4 and Par 5 holes
3. Average Stableford brutto points on Par 3, Par 4 and Par 5 holes
4. Most played courses (Top Five)
Courses
For selected player and year provides an overview about minimum, maximum and average score achieved on each course you have played.
You can drag the chart left & right to see more (if appropriate).

Rounds
For selected player and year provides an overview of all the rounds you have played, showing ofcial HCP and estimated HCP (based on the game results).
You can drag the chart left & right to see more (if appropriate).

Handicap
For selected player and year provides an overview of the "ofcial" player's handicap.
You can drag the chart left & right to see more (if appropriate).
You can drag the chart left & right to see more (if appropriate).

Stableford
For selected player and year provides an overview of all golf rounds' results calculated in Stableford points (both netto and brutto).
