PROBLEM STATEMENT

REBRANDING OF HONEYWORLD
With the emerging modern trends in packaging food and food products in Ghana and the
outside business world, it has become exigent to rebrand HONEYWORLD.
Also, with the need to reach the international standards of packaging and with the intension
to provide our customers with an appealing packaging, JA24 FOODS has decided with your
unfailing partnership to rebrand. Research has shown that products with very appealing and
quality packaging materials sells than the unappealing ones. People also do impulse buying
largely due to the appealing nature of the packaging.

EXPANSION OF JA24 FOODS
Having operated on a small scale over the past 5 months with inadequate machinery and
equipment for production, it has become necessary to expand JA24 FOODS to the a medium
food production facility so as to meet the capacity to produce as much as 400,000 plus per
anum from the current 500 pieces production as is required in the rebranding.
With an asset base of about GHc 2,000.00, we are projecting to increase this to GHc
10,000.00 plus at a rate of 500% with your joint partnership.
This not only go a long way to enhance the production but also increase the market base
tremendously. It is our goal for the business year 2014 to make readily HONEYWORLD
available to customers in retail and wholesale quantities. It is in this same vain that we
intend to distribute HONEYWORLD to recognised pharmacies, malls, marts, shell shops and
Melcome outlets and various wholesale point of sale terminals.

HOW IS THIS PROJECTS WILL BE UNDERTAKEN
Sealing machine will be used to package the honey in 30ml and 200ml totapack
Bottling will be done using a filler
Sealing, capping and labelling will be done manually by the production team




MARKETING
Marketing will be in 4 three folds
HONEYWORLD will be made available to the following shops and school
1. Basic schools ( spread with honey project)
School pupils in basics schools will be encourages to spread bread and also use it as sugar
substitute. Various schools on the Accra Metropolitan Assembly will be visited during their
assembly time, breakfast break and during sports activities.

Recognise pharmacy
Melcome shops

Wholesale points of sale terminal


3. Restaurants and Hotels
This will done to lobby for restaurants and hotels to include HONEYWORLD in their breakfast
meals for customers / clients that may want to substitute honey for sugar and spread bread
with honey.

A team of 2 3 persons will be involved in handling categories 1 and 4
2 & 3 will be done by 2 persons













REDUCING LOSSES (RISK MANAGEMENT)

Honey does not expire so you guaranteed your money and interest
Itll be made affordable as much as possible so that it could sell quickly (further details in
pricing info session)
Due to the increasing adulteration of honey, customers when they repose confidence in
brand will want to stick to it and thus it will quickly sell. And HONEYWORLD is a 100% pure
unadulterated honey.


Sensitization of customer and the general public on various platform on the importance of
using pure honey. It is important to note that there are people out there who are aware
honey is good but dont know how to use it.

Advertisement will be placed on radio stations within Tema and Accra to sensitise the public
on the need to use honey and to sell the product. There is a high level of prospects in
adverts thus increasing sales
