Article I: PURPOSE
Section 1: The purpose of the Extreme Couponing Club is to promote smart shopping by
staying within one’s budget, and acquire real life skills (financially). The club will not
keep any of the products or profits acquired during club meetings; they will donate
EVERYTHING to a local charity as a reminder that couponing is not to be used to
accumulate a lot of unnecessary items, but to improve the lives of others.
Article II: MEMBERSHIP
Section 1: Any RBHS student who has met the requirements set forth by this constitution
will be granted membership.
Section 2: If a student is struggling with school and has a 2.5 GPA or lower, they are
welcome to petition their way into the club, by getting a teacher, RBHS counselor,
assistant principal, and get two thirds of the club current members to sign off that they
think the person can get their grades up by the beginning of 2015-2016 school year.
Section 3: If a student gets in trouble for doing illegal activity at any time, they will be
subject to expulsion from the club. Also a member should keep good citizenship and not
get in trouble with the law or with the school.
Section 4: All students who have attended at least one of the first five meetings are
considered official members unless they break any of the above requirements, or miss 3
scheduled meetings in a row.
Article III: ELECTION OF PEOPLE OF PRESIDENT
Section 1: There will be two authority figures at all times. The authority figures will run
the club and set important dates, events, and meetings for the club.
Section 2: For the first year of the club, the founder shall take on the role of being the
President of the club.
Section 3: The decision of who is President is decided by the previous captains and/or the
sponsor. They are welcome to choose themselves to be captain again as long as they get
90% of the club to sign off that they agree.
Section 4: Only registered members are eligible to be President.
Section 5: If a President is unable to perform his/her duties and a new President is needed
then the current sponsor will decide who the new President is.
Section 6: Any officer may be impeached by a two-thirds vote of the members but a just
reason defined by sponsor must be given.
Article IV: DUTIES OF CAPTAINS
Section 1: The duty of the President is to run the meetings, plan events, & keep the
website up to date (http://rbextremecouponing.weebly.com) for the Extreme Couponing
Club.

Section 2: If a President is absent from a meeting, the Vice President will take over the
rest of the meeting. In the event that both authority figures are missing, there should be a
24 hour notice to all club members and will be posted on the website’s calander, in the
Timeline. The club shall not meet at the regular scheduled time, it can either be
rescheduled or canceled and not be subject to be made up.
Section 3: The President has the right to create events or unscheduled meeting which
should be told to the current members at the meeting before the newly scheduled event or
meeting.
Section 4: The President shall keep a record of attendance or assign a current member to
do so.
The President is also in charge of keeping track of all finances for the club.
Section 5: The President shall be at every meeting, but if they are unable to attend some,
they will have a limit to miss 5 meetings a semester. After the 5 absences the captain is
subject to being impeached, as defined in Article III.
Article V: THE RIGHT TO OVERRULE
Section 1: Any executive decision of the officers may be overruled by a 90% vote of all
members.
Section 2: The President and Sponsor of the Extreme Couponing Club shall at all times
have the right to veto any legislation
Article VI: MEETINGS
Section 1: There will be a meeting at least once a month, and the club will end on April
30, 2015 for the 2014-2015 school year.
Section 2: If the dates set by the captains are not satisfactory by two thirds of current
members, then there will be a vote for the desired day and time for the scheduled
meetings, if the President is unable to attend the meeting scheduled by two thirds of the
club, their absence will not be counted towards their limit of 5 absences per semester.
Section 3: Additional meetings may be called by the sponsor, or president as the need
arises
Section 4: Members should be present at all meetings. An attendance record shall be kept.
Any student missing three meetings in a row without an acceptable reason (as defined by
Sponsor) shall be subject to consideration for suspension from the Extreme Couponing
Club.
Article VII: AMENDMENTS
Section l: In the event that this Constitution is not satisfactory to the Extreme Couponing
Club’s current needs it may be amended by a three-fourths member vote.

Section 2: Any amendment to this Constitution must be dated and signed by the current
captains, Sponsor, and Activities Coordinator of RBHS.
Article VIII: RATIFICATION
Section l: This Constitution shall be ratified by a two-thirds vote of the current members
and by approval from the sponsor, and approval from the Student Council.
