permitted. Federal law requires Secure the Future Committee to report the name, mailing address, occupation and
employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in a calendar year.

Secure the Future Committee J oint Fundraising Notice and Contribution Guidelines
Secure The Future Committee is a joint fundraising committee to benefit DeMint for Senate and Senate
Conservatives Fund PAC. Contributions to Secure the Future Committee will be allocated as follows:
1. The first $2,300 from an individual to DeMint for Senate, designated for the primary election, 2010;
2. The next $2,300 from an individual to DeMint for Senate, designated for the general election, 2010;
3. The next $5,000 from an individual contribution per calendar year to Senate Conservatives Fund PAC;
4. The first $5,000 from any PAC contribution to DeMint for Senate, designated for the primary election 2010;
5. The next $5000 from any PAC contribution to DeMint for Senate, designated for the general election 2010;
6. The next $5000 from any PAC contribution per calendar year to Senate Conservatives Fund.
Notwithstanding the above allocation formula, contributions may be made payable by the donor to DeMint for
Senate or Senate Conservatives Fund PAC directly. All earmarked contributions will be allocated to the specified
committee(s) as directed by the contributor, in accordance with applicable individual and aggregate contribution
limits under the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, as amended.
The maximum an individual may contribute to a federal candidate toward the 2010 election cycle is $4,600 ($2,300
to be allocated to the DeMint for Senate primary election and $2,300 to the DeMint for Senate general election) and
may contribute $5,000 per calendar year to Senate Conservatives Fund PAC. Couples may contribute $ 9,200 if
each spouse so designates the contributions. Qualified PACs may contribute $15,000 to Secure the Future
Committee ($5,000 to be allocated to the DeMint for Senate primary election, $5,000 to be allocated to the DeMint
for Senate general election and $5,000 to be allocated to Senate Conservatives Fund PAC.) Non-qualified PACs
may contribute $9,600 ($2,300 per election to be allocated to DeMint for Senate and $5,000 to be allocated to
Senate Conservatives Fund PAC).
