Butterfly

I was all
A flittery fluttery
Of butterfly thoughts
Alighting
Here or there,
Momentarily attracted
By some aromatic
Paradox flower
But never resting
For long
Lest the stillness catch
Me in its net and
Skewer me
To some child's
Butterfly collection …
That is until
I found a Universe
(hidden within
a Geometrical Diagram)
& I paused,
Grooving to the
Universal heartbeat
A cadence
To my flighty
Creations
Turning them
& (re)turning
Into a ballet
Of fragile wings
… Flutter by,
Butterfly.
