There are no refunds on deposits (after pups are whelped) in whole or part for any reason, unless said litter doesnt produce
color and or sex of a puppy as specified above, or if the puppy should no longer be available due to illness or accident, then
Buyer will have the option to be refunded deposit or transfer to a future litter produced by Happy Valley Dobermans (J ohn &
J ill Briggs).
All of our puppies come with cropped ears, docked tails and dewclaws removed. All puppies whose ears that are to remain
natural per Buyers request will be able to go home at 8 weeks of age. All cropped puppies will be able to go home at 10 weeks
of age after ears have healed and been posted. No puppies will go home prior to 8 weeks of age.

forfeit deposit. Buyer has the right to transfer deposit onto a future litter produced by Happy Valley Dobermans only, no refund


will be given, unless said litter doesnt produce color or sex of puppy as specified above. This is a good faith promise of your
intent to purchase said Doberman puppy. A great deal of personal time goes into each puppy we produce. In the event of outright
cancellation, all monies received by John & Jill Briggs will be retained and used in direct relation to support cost and
maintenance.

This Doberman is a purebred Doberman Pinscher has been Pre-Registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and has been
registered as Happy Valleys ______________________________________________________________________.
Registration will be transferred to the buyer after the Breeder (John & Jill Briggs) has received payment in full. All puppies
purchased from this litter will carry the kennel name of Happy Valleys in front of their name. Breeder has all rights to
registered name, but will work with Buyer to pick an appropriate registered name.

______This Doberman has had its ears cropped on ______/_______/________. We cannot, and will not guarantee the ear
cropping or standing of an ear crop in any way. Veterinarians will not as well, and so much depends on you properly
caring for them. Please be sure to have a Veterinarian on hand who is knowledgeable in ear cropping and posting. We
can help guide and assist you in postings of your Doberman puppy, and if you live close we will do them for you. Please
be aware it can take anywhere from 6 weeks to 1 year for ears to stand properly.

The buyer agrees that he/she is not acting as, or in part of an agent, in the purchase of this puppy and that the Buyer will not sell
or give away this puppy or any of its progeny to any agent, pet store or guard dog business. Puppy may be used for Schutzhund,
SAR or Police work.

Buyer agrees that this dog WILL NOT be LEFT IN A BACKYARD OR KENNEL ONLY. This dog is sold with the understanding
that it was to go to selected homes and socialized properly, and the buyer AVOWED the dog would become a member of the
family. (This is to assure proper development and maintenance of the temperament for which the animal was bred.) The Buyer
agrees the puppy will reside at the home of the Buyer and have access to a fenced yard and not be chained or tied up.

Buyer understands that all of the puppies in this litter of Dobermans are being sold with LIMITED American Kennel Club
registration. This means that the AKC will not register any puppies from a limited registered dog nor are dogs with a limited
registration eligible for breed competition (Conformation). Full registration will only be granted after the following health
testing goals have been achieved:

OFA Hip Certification of Fair or Better
OFA Elbows Certification
DCM Testing
Thyroid Testing
VWD Testing

In addition, your Doberman must earn a Title in AKC/UKC/UDC Obedience, Agility, Tracking, Schutzhund, Mondio or
French Ring or other suitable performance title.



Buyer understands AKC limited registration precludes Buyer from showing puppy in conformation breed shows and from
registering any litters produced or sired by the Doberman. Limited registration still entitles Buyer to register the Doberman with
AKC and attend sanctioned obedience, agility and freestyle events. This Doberman puppy will not be used for breeding purposes
prior to meeting the AKC Full Registration Requirements. In the event that this dog is used for breeding without written
permission from Breeder, the Buyer will be required to pay a $3,000.00 breach of contract fee for each litter produced by this
Doberman as well as all applicable fees (including but not limited to court and attorney fees) incurred by the Breeder to enforce
this contract. Breeder also reserves the right to repossess the Doberman in breach of contract with no refund in whole or part to
Buyer; Buyer must sign over registration papers to Breeder.

Buyer understands this Doberman may not be registered with any other registry without written consent from Happy Valley
Dobermans (John or Jill Briggs). If the dog is registered with another registry without written permission, there will be a
$3,000.00 breach of contract fee and Happy Valley Dobermans reserves the right to repossess the Doberman, with no refund in
whole or part to Buyer; Buyer must sign over registration papers to Breeder.

Buyer, by signing this contract, you acknowledge that behavior & temperament is based on a combination of genetics and
experiences the Doberman will gain after it leaves the breeder. Ongoing consistent socialization and training are critical to
ensure the Doberman is raised properly to be obedient with proper manners. Lack of consistent socialization to strange people,
places, things that include other dogs will adversely affect the good genetic temperament the Doberman was born with.

Buyer understands that the Breeder would like all puppies (if possible) to obtain at least one Obedience, Agility, Tracking, IPO,
or other AKC/UKC/UDC Title. The Breeder will pay a $100 rebate for a copy of each AKC/UKC/UDC Title or IPO/PSA/Ring
Sport Certification provided by the Buyer in the aforementioned areas for this Doberman. A $50 rebate will also be provided for
a Therapy Dog Certification (TDC) and a $50 rebate for obtaining a DPCA Working Aptitude Certification (WAC). A $25
rebate for Canine Good Citizen (CGC), AKC Community Canine (CGCA) and Temperament Test (TT). Rebates are limited to
$500.00 maximum, over the lifetime of this Doberman. Breeder has up to 6 months from receiving proof of Title(s) to send
rebate to Buyer. This is not a requirement for purchase, just a strong recommendation for validation of Doberman type and
temperament.

Buyer agrees that Breeder will REPOSSESS DOG OR BITCH UPON EVIDENCE OF NEGLECT AND/OR ABUSE at no
expense to the Breeder with no refund in whole or part. Buyer MUST notify the Breeder immediately should the Buyer, for any
reason, is not able to keep said Doberman at any point in the Dobermans life. In such instance, the Doberman will be returned to
the Breeder (Ashley Crawford). Breeder will retain or place said Doberman in a new home at the Breeders discretion. The
Breeder then will endeavor to place any returned puppy/dog as advantageously as possible. If a purchase price is obtained for the
puppy/dog, it will be refunded to the original Buyer, less any costs of placement. If the puppy/dog is placed free of charge, no
money will be returned to the original Buyer.

Buyer agrees not to destroy said Doberman before discussing this decision with the Breeder, except for urgent health reasons
(recommended/documented by a vet) which would impact the Dobermans quality of life.



Buyer agrees to remain in contact with Breeder to call should they have questions or need advice about their Doberman. Buyer
agrees to keep the Breeder apprised of the Dobermans health, longevity, titles/awards earned and to send pictures as often as
possible. By entering into this contract, you are gaining a relationship with a breeder who truly cares about the welfare of their
dogs and who expects to hear from you about OUR Doberman.

My signature below indicates agreement and acceptance of all the terms and conditions of the placement of a Happy Valley
Dobermans (John & Jill Briggs) Doberman puppy as outlined in the payment, deposits, shipping procedures, which I have read
and received a copy. Buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract fully, and that this contract is under the jurisdiction of
the State of Utah.
