The Fullness and the Fire

Volume 1: Part 1
here there is fullness, there
is fire! Hallelujah!
Acts 1:1-9 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus
began both to do and teach, (2) Until the day in which he was taken up,
after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the
apostles whom he had chosen: (3) To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion
by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things
pertaining to the kingdom of God: (4) And, being assembled together with them,
commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the
Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. (5) For John truly baptized with water; but ye
shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. (6) When they therefore were
come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the
kingdom to Israel? (7) And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the
seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. (8) But ye shall receive power, after
that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and
ye shall be witnesses unto me both in
Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in
Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the
earth. (9) And when he had spoken these
things, while they beheld, he was taken up;
and a cloud received him out of their sight.

Christianity is not a religion. Many don’t
understand this and many don’t understand
the difference. It’s the God life in the human
person. That’s what Christianity is. A lot of
us haven’t understood what Jesus came to
do and for many of us it’s still theoretical
and for some of us we are just growing to begin to understand. There’s so much in and about
Christianity. God says in Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because
thou hast rejected knowledge…
Knowledge is very important. Revelation is vital. It’s only by revelation that one can break a
stronghold. Strongholds cannot be broken by faith or by prayer. They can only be broken by
revelation. Teaching ministry is very important for that purpose. What is a stronghold? There
are two types of strongholds. External and internal. External ones are satanic or human, built
to deter us from doing or achieving God’s purpose. Internal strongholds are the interplay of
thoughts and imaginations that characterise the conflicts that takes place in our minds.
Thought patterns that govern people’s minds for a protracted period. These thought patterns
may result as a person’s background or experience or the result of erroneous religious
theories and postulations held over a protracted period. For example it’s hard for some people
to believe that God performs miracles. They say to fool themselves but deep down their
minds they are bounded by a stronghold. What they actually believe is that it’s some
psychological effect as a result of ones extreme belief in God that makes the miracle happen.
These folks cannot believe because of this stronghold and they won’t get a miracle in that
condition. Some kiss the Bible every time it falls on the ground thinking that God is now so
furious about it and He is about to get up from His throne and come against you. When you
W

Page 2

write God you should write with a capital ‘G’ or God is mad at you. These are strongholds.
You think God is going to put you in hell for writing God with a simple ‘g’? This very God
so loved the sinners, prostitutes and the murderers that He so loved that He gave His only
begotten Son for these immoral savage people and now this very God you think is going to
put you in hell for writing God with a simple ‘g’? Some have an attitude towards the
Christian denominations – stronghold. Some believe only the first century Christians can
perform miracles – again stronghold. They never read it in the Bible but they are bounded by
this stronghold. They read in their Bible that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and
forever – yet they believe only the first century could perform miracles. Stronghold! When
some people don’t understand that God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one. Again
this is a stronghold. Maybe you’ve had one of them and are now made free. Faith and prayer
cannot help this situation. You have to study the Bible and find your way out yourself. Hosea
6:3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD… If you read 2 Corinthians 10:4
you’ll find how to pull down these strongholds. We will come to know as we keep pressing
on because we want to know. Hallelujah!

One reason you study many people who are called in to the ministry, there’s a supernatural
pulling of them to the Bible and the Church even in their childhood. Something happened and
something happened and they found a Bible and read it and read it and read it again and again
at very early stages in their lives. At that time maybe they are not born again but they are
always pulled to the Gospel. Why? There are certain people that God has separated for
Himself. They are born to fulfil a call. That’s what you call the person is called to serve God
and His people. God separated Paul even when he was the Saul of Tarsus. It was God’s will
for him to be an academic. A scholar and a lawyer. He was trained in the law. Study Paul’s
life he was a very studious person. When any man is chosen of God to be used in an unusual
manner, God permits him to go through a training period, which sometimes includes trials
and tribulations of the most severe nature. When you study the word the strongholds are
pulled down. So God has done every possible thing for these people to go to Sunday School
and read their own Bible and so on. That they won’t be held in bondage and when the time is
come they step into the office. It’s a beautiful journey!

You though one day when you made Jesus the Lord over your life, you though you came into
a nice moral religion. Nice style of living. It is not a style of living but it has a style of living.
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you
Now prior to this time Jesus has said to His disciples John 14:17 the Spirit of truth; whom
the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for
he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

There is a difference between the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament and
the New Testament. The Holy Spirit is the 3
rd
person to be revealed to the Church but the 1
st

to be revealed by the Word.

The word is the logos of God. It was that logos which is the revelation of God. The word that
proceeds from the Father. The word is the spoken revelation. The revelation in the word. It is
the thought of God clothed with vocabulary that proceeds from the Father. The Holy Ghost
is the He [the person] that proceeds from the Father. The word didn’t have any personality
but the personality of the speaker all the time it was there until the word was made flesh and
dwelt among us. That’s where Jesus came from.

The Fullness and the Fire

Page 3

Some people think that Jesus was walking around in heaven, playing with the angels and then
the Holy Spirit now turned Jesus into a little seed and put it into a womb of a virgin. The
Bible says that the word became flesh. He was never called Jesus there. These people think
Jesus was moving around in heaven and God spoke and said “Son, come over here. Would
you like to go down to earth?” There was nothing like that. Study it for yourself. You know
people like to make things up.
1 John 5:7-8 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the
Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (8) And there are three that bear witness in earth, the
Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

The New Testament doesn’t begin from the birth of Jesus as your book binding man thought
and placed a blank page before the book of Matthew saying “The New Testament”. The New
Testament began from the resurrection of Jesus. Study the book of Hebrews and understand
the new covenant. Only very few people have understood the book of Hebrews and those are
the ones who have the supernatural manifestations.

All the time in the Old Testament the Holy Spirit came to earth as the angel of God’s
presence. Because you cannot see God. You’ll blow up. It takes the Holy Spirit to bring the
presence of the Father and lead people. You cannot hear God when He speaks for He speaks
with thundering and lightning. You cannot get Him. Psalms 29:9 The voice of the LORD
maketh the hinds to calve, and strips the forests bare:
Some other times God’s words may sound like many waters and you don’t understand. It
takes the Holy Spirit to bring the Word of God to your heart. He is the one that proceeds from
the Father. Father God doesn’t move left right or centre. He doesn’t move here or there. He is
on the throne eternally. When He wants to move, he doesn’t go like a man who gets up and
move. He proceeds from Him. While He is still here, He goes there. He proceeds from here to
there and He remains here while He is doing something over there He can go out somewhere
else and on and on and on and on. Ever eternal one. That on that proceeds from Him is the
Holy Spirit. That’s the Holy Spirit. When God speaks it’s the Holy Spirit brings it to pass.
One who cause it to happen. Job 26:13 By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand
hath formed the crooked serpent.
When the Word became flesh and walked among us. Jesus. He has the life of God but that
didn’t mean that the Father lived in Him. The Spirit has personality. The word has gained
individual personality. He has taken human form. He has now taken a different form. A
separate entity from the Father. He is now another person from the Father. The only separate
person from the Father was the Holy Ghost. Now the word has become a separate person.
The Bible calls him the 2
nd
Adam. He too must become complete with deity. Complete with
the fullness of God. He is the offspring of God but He must become complete. He must
become as His Father. He has the same life with him but now He is going to have the same
spirit with Him. So the Bible tells us that the river Jordan when John was baptising the
Heavens opened and the Spirit of God descended upon Jesus. John saw the Spirit descend in
the form of a dove. The Spirit is not a dove but He saw the Holy Spirit descend in the form of
a dove upon Jesus. Rested upon him. John sees this vision and he cries out because God gave
him a sign. John was a prophet. God said “You are the one to show the Christ to Israel”. John
said “How am I going to know?” and God said “The one upon whom you see the Holy Spirit
descend in the form of dove is the one that baptises with the Holy Ghost and with fire” John
saw this and cried out. The Holy Spirit didn’t fill anybody else. Then the Holy Spirit began
His ministry with Jesus. He came for a purpose. The first thing He did when He came upon
Jesus was first He showed Him how to handle the flesh. Self-denial. The next thing was how
to handle the devil. Jesus was led up into the wilderness. Jesus fasted 40 days before the devil
The Fullness and the Fire

Page 4

came. Self-denial. Stayed away from food and became hungry. The hunger comes and you
deny. Jesus became hungry and at the end the devil came because the devil couldn’t stop him
from fasting. If thou be the Son of God then command these stones to be bread. Remember it
was the Holy Spirit who took Jesus and the Bible says to be tempted. The Holy Spirit led
Him there. The Holy Spirit was teaching Jesus how to use the word of God but the man
himself was the word and yet the Holy Ghost is showing Jesus how to defeat the devil. If the
man who himself was the word made flesh needed to be taught by the Holy Ghost, how much
more that you who only knows Matthew, Mark, Luke John – Bless the bed that I lay on!? You
only know them in the night time. Only know you feel the pain in your head.

When the devil tempted Jesus, Jesus said “It is written..” Jesus didn’t say “Hey! Do you
know who you are talking to? I am the Son of God!” Jesus was the saying the devil what the
word says. “I am the Word” is not the word. Then the devil left and the angels came and
ministered Jesus. After that Jesus came to town in the power of the Spirit. Glory to God.
Walked into the synagogue and the folks saw this young man – the son of Joseph as they
knew him and said “Hey you boy, you are taking the first reading today!” The master of the
synagogue asked Jesus to read it. Luke 4. Jesus didn’t read it like the Scribes nor the
Pharisees. Didn’t read like the ever-singing Catholics. Aaa..mm..eeen.. Hoo---oo—lly. Not
like that. He read that and said “Today this scripture is fulfilled before you all..” The Bible
says that everybody turned around and started looking at Jesus. Then somebody cried out in
the congregation “Yeeahhh...!!!!!!” and the others said “Hey hey.. Please..don’t disturb.. cool
down man.. this is a church!” They didn’t know that there was a demon in that man. Jesus
said “Hold thy peace, and come out of him!” in other words “Shut up and come out” …. for
his word was with power.
What kind of power? There was something about Jesus. It was not because He was Jesus but
because of the Holy Ghost. The Bible says Jesus left all the glory and came to earth taking a
form of a man. He is the Son of God but didn’t come as the Son of God. Instead came like a
man. Only after the Holy Spirit came upon Jesus He was different. He’s a changed man. He
spoke with power. This is what God expects of us. There is no Christianity without the Holy
Spirit. Acts 1:2 KJV Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy
Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
Jesus gave commandments to the apostles through the Holy Ghost. He spoke to them through
the Holy Ghost. Hebrews 9:14 KJV How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through
the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead
works to serve the living God?
Jesus offered himself through the Holy Ghost. Everything Jesus did, He did it through the
Holy Ghost. You cannot live the Christian life without the Holy Ghost.

The ultimate question is How do you do it through the Holy Ghost?

Romans 8:12-13 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
(13) For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the
deeds of the body, ye shall live.

You can only do it through the Holy Ghost. Even when we worship him or pray to God is
done through the Holy Ghost. Anything that you do without the Holy Ghost is unacceptable.
Understand that this is a world of darkness and sin. Anything coming from earth must of
necessity be purified lest it is not acceptable to God. What you give to him can’t get to him.
It’s only the Holy Spirit can sanctify what you want to give to God. That’s the life he’s called
us to live. That’s the reason the people who are not born again pray to God but those prayers
The Fullness and the Fire

Page 5

are not heard in heaven. God has no attention to those prayers. Many think that all the rubbish
they say in prayer is heard in heaven.

When you are born again, you become a child of God. You do this in accordance to Romans
10:9-10. You have to believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess
honestly with your mouth that Jesus is the Lord over your life. That means the Bible the word
of God has the final say in your life and not your opinions. Period! Then you are born with
the life of God in you. But to live here, you have to have the power of God. You can only live
here by the anointing of the Holy Ghost. That’s what the anointing is really all about. The
anointing of God is the presence of God. The anointing is the glory of God.

Isaiah 11:1-4 KJV And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch
shall grow out of his roots: (2) And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of
wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of
the fear of the LORD; (3) And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the
LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of
his ears: (4) But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the
meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath
of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

Verse 3 says that the Holy Spirit makes him quick understanding. The same reason why
many Bible students always read the Bible. Almost like 24/7.

Let me have your attention to the highlighted text. These are the 7 spirits of God referred to
again in Revelation 1:4, Revelation 3:1, Revelation 4:5, Revelation 5:6. This is the fullness of
God’s Holy Spirit. The problem is many are not full of God’s Spirit. All the Old Testament
people had the Spirit of God in measure.
Joshua had the Spirit of Wisdom. Not the Spirit of might.
Samson had the Spirit of Might. Not wisdom.

When the Holy Spirit is working in your life, things are different.
Now watch this man now::-
Judges 14:5 Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnath, and came
to the vineyards of Timnath: and, behold, a young lion roared against him.
Ok now what do you have in your Bible? What did Samson do? Samson cried out “Daddy…
Daddy… Daddy…” Is that what you have in your Bible?
Judges 14:6 And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he
would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his
mother what he had done.
The Spirit came upon Samson, he was changed. He got a hold of the lion and went on. Same
happened with David. Again with Samson. The Philistines shouted at him.
Judges 15:14-15 And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the
Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became
as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands. (15) And he found
a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men
therewith.

When the Spirit came upon Samson, he was a different man. Holy Spirit gives you boldness.
Might overcomes strength.

The Fullness and the Fire

Page 6

The spirit of the Lord is what the prophets needed to talk to the kings whom they were afraid
of. This Spirit of the Lord will put you in charge of the situation. When you need boldness to
dominate the circumstances, to be able to speak out without timidity they needed the Spirit of
the Lord. That’s why it’s always said The Spirit of the Lord came upon him. The Spirit of the
Lord. This is the Spirit of Lordship. He takes charge and the one before you can do nothing.
He said to Moses no man will be able to stand before you, all the days of your life. He talked
to Joshua and said as I was with Moses, so shall I not fail you nor forsake you and no one will
be able to stand against you all the days of your life. The Spirit of the Lord.

There was a young prophet in the Bible named Azariah. All the prophets who talked to kings,
talked boldly. 2 Chronicles 15:1-2 (1) And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of
Oded: (2) And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah
and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be
found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.

When King Hezekiah was misbehaving and was sick the prophet Isaiah came in. This little
rat walked right into the King’s house and instead of saying “O King live forever!” Isaiah
said “Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live!” Many of you bluff and yet
inside you, there’s a fellow hiding in fear. This is the Spirit of the Lord. You are in charge no
matter what happens.

The Bible says in Ephesians 5:18 but be filled with the Spirit;
He didn’t say ye are filled with the Spirit. He said to be filled with the Spirit by speaking in
other tongues. You are not always be filled with the Spirit. God wants the fullness of the
Spirit. When the Holy Ghost comes to live in you, he’ll always be in you for you are a child
of God. That’s not to say that you always have His Fullness.

1. The Spirit of the Lord.
2. The Spirit of Wisdom.
3. The Spirit of Understanding.
4. The Spirit of Counsel.
5. The Spirit of Might.
6. The Spirit of Knowledge.
7. The Spirit of the Fear of the Lord.

Zechariah 3:9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be
seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will
remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
Zechariah 4:10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and
shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the
LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

These are the seven eyes that run to and fro through the whole earth.
Revelation 5:6 KJV And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts,
and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and
seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

The seven Spirits of God.

The Fullness and the Fire

Page 7

Revelation 4:5 KJV And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices:
and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of
God.

Now upon one stone shall be seven eyes. He was talking about the branch. He called him the
branch in one place and called him the branch in another place and then Isaiah called him the
branch which means that the branch is this same stone of Christ.

1 Peter 2:3-6 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. (4) To whom coming, as unto
a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, (5) Ye also, as
lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual
sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. (6) Wherefore also it is contained in the
scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on
him shall not be confounded.

He is the stone and we also are living stones. Now Zechariah said “upon one stone shall be
seven eyes:” Zechariah didn’t say upon the stone shall be seven eyes but upon one stone shall
be seven eyes. Upon each of the stones shall be seven eyes. Ye also are living stones. Each of
us are living stones and He’s called the branch and Jesus said John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are
the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for
without me ye can do nothing.
These seven eyes are the seven Spirits of God and John 3:34 says that God gave Jesus the
Spirit without measure. He had the fullness of the Godhead bodily and now Colossians 2:10
KJV And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

Each one of us ought to have the fullness of the Spirit and none of us ought to have the Spirit
without measure. He says to us Ephesians 5:18 KJV And be not drunk with wine, wherein is
excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
In the Old Testament the Spirit of the Lord came mightily on Samson and the Spirit of the
Lord came upon David and the Spirit of the Lord came upon Isaiah. In the New Testament
the Spirit of the Lord never came upon anyone. Jesus said he dwelleth with you, and shall be
in you.
He came upon us that He might come into us. 1 John 2:20 But ye have an unction from the
Holy One, and ye know all things.

The Holy Spirit coming to take residence in us. The Holy Spirit living in us, walking in us
and talking in us. We have become his living tabernacles. 1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye
not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God,
and ye are not your own?

Have the Spirit in fullness. When there is the fullness of the Spirit, there is the fire of the
Spirit. When you don’t have the fullness of the Holy Spirit you have less than the seven
Spirits of God and yet you are a child of God. Maybe at that point for some only the Spirit of
knowledge is functioning. So the Holy Spirit teach and teach and teach and teach but no
power. For some of them, they only had the Spirit of Might. They are tough for God but there
is no wisdom and no knowledge. In the New Testament, God doesn’t want another Samson,
not another Moses and not another David. He wants us to take after the second Adam. Just
like Jesus. No one will be disadvantaged. In the New Testament it’s always Peter being filled
with the Holy Ghost and Paul being filled with the Holy Ghost. Every time they wanted to
talk and perform miracles, they were filled with the Holy Ghost. Prior to that time they may
The Fullness and the Fire

Page 8

not have been full but to stand at that time they were full. How can you be filled? Speaking
to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your
heart to the Lord; (20) Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the
name of our Lord Jesus Christ; [Ephesians 5:19-20]

Here is this man and the Holy Ghost in His fullness comes into you. His legs in your legs and
His hands in your hands and fingers in your fingers and his head in your head. I’ve caste out
many demons and I know what it is to like for a human person to be fully filled with the
devil. Many many times more than one demon take residence in a human person. I’ve seen
their eyes look through the eyes of the individual as I try to cast that devil and they look and
talk with that person’s mouth. Look at the eyes and they are filled with hate but before the
manifestation of the devil, he/she looked like the nicest person ever and suddenly the devil
fills him up and you can see the eyes of that devil looking at you with hate. Thanks be unto
God when we call in the name of Jesus and they got to come out. Suddenly that fellow looks
calm and normal. Sometimes the devils fill them and the people can’t even hold them down.
They hold the hands of that individual with their bare hands but there’s a hand of a devil in
that hand. You can take that thing away from him. Many many times you find people who are
demon possessed and people run away from them. God says
Ephesians 5:18 KJV And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the
Spirit;
You know that wine can make you feel high. Wine can make you think of you like of
something else. Yet that’s in the sense realm and you don’t have the spirit of Might when you
have wine in you. You may act strong but you are not strong and you may act bold but you
are not bold.
Be filled with the Spirit. When you are filled with the Spirit, He leads us into prayer. He leads
us in study and the things we should do by the supernatural power of Almighty God.

n our Christian lives
there are certain things
we have to engage.
Some of them in conflict.
God has made us in such a
way that being born of
God’s word and God’s Spirit, there should be no deficiency whatsoever in the new creation.
The new creation has been perfectly fashioned by God. Christianity is not a religion. It is the
life of God in a human person. The human person has a capacity to contain God. God can
dwell in a human person. The Bible lets us know that human being are vessels. 2 Corinthians
4:7 KJV But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may
be of God, and not of us. They can be indwelt but in this world you have to decide who’s
going to live in you.
Ephesians 3:14-17 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
(15) Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, (16) That he would grant
I

Page 9

you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the
inner man; (17) That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and
grounded in love,
The literal rendering is to become mighty. Not in size. Strengthened with might by the Spirit
of God in your inner man. This is from within you.
Ephesians 3:17-19 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and
grounded in love, (18) May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and
length, and depth, and height; (19) And to know the love of Christ, which surpasseth
knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

Filled with the fullness of God. There is a fullness of God. Not to be filled with God but to be
filled with the fullness of God. It’s one thing to have God and another thing to be filled with
the completeness of God. Many years ago the Christians used to call something call the “The
baptism of the Holy Ghost”. They didn’t even use that term. They would term it as being
filled with the fullness of God. If you are born again you are baptised with the Holy Ghost.
They would say “Have you received the fullness of the Spirit.” That too was also a
misleading. When you are born again is the time you are baptised in the Holy Ghost. To be
into the Holy Ghost is to be baptised into Christ. Same thing used to say to be dipped into
Christ or to be immersed into Christ. You are immersed into him. 1 Corinthians 12:13 KJV
(13) For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles,
whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

That’s the baptism of the Holy Ghost. To be immersed into the Holy Ghost. When you are
born again you come into God. To be in God is different is different for God to be in you.
You have become a prepared vessel, a temple and you are now ready to receive God into
your life in His fullness. We receive really the Lordship of Jesus. 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold,
all things are become new.

If you really want to understand the Bible and lay aside denominational terminologies, it will
actually be better because these misunderstandings of the scripture have made the people to
seek what they should not be seeking. Lay aside those strongholds that your great grandfather
did in the church. Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit are two
things. What happened there was that you were baptised by the Holy Spirit. You are in Him
but He is not in you. When the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in you or to live in you or to make
His home in you – that’s not the baptism of the Holy Spirit. That’s what they asked in Acts
19 Have you received the Holy Spirit? That is the anointing. That’s when you receive the
anointing. When you come to make his abode in you to dwell in you that’s when you are
anointed. The presence of God is manifested. Everyone who has received the Holy Ghost is
anointed to live by the Holy Ghost to do supernatural things. This anointing is different from
the anointing for the service. That’s for the Apostles, Prophets and Evangelists, Pastors and
Teachers. That anointing is a different manifestation it is another unction of the same Holy
Spirit. This is the anointing that comes upon you not the one that abides in you. It comes and
goes. You can’t live your life with that anointing. You can’t go home touch your wife, she’ll
fall under the power. In fact when this anointing gets too strong it hurts. You finally ask God
to take it away. You feel the bones knocking on each other or an extreme burning sensation.
You won’t have an advantage with this because this anointing doesn’t work for you. It works
for the others in the church. When you lay hands on the sick they get healed but you if you
don’t have faith, you are not healed. This is actually the authority and no other power. Elisha
died of sickness. Even though in his dead bones the anointing resided and when another dead

man was thrown into his sepulchre and when his body touched the bones of Elisha he came
alive.

All the answers are in the word of God. The Holy Ghost is made manifest now. This is His
hour. The first revelation came. The word of God revealed. The Father through the Holy
Ghost.
Genesis 1:1 KJV In the beginning Elohiym created the heaven and the earth.

Whose Elohiym? Plural for God. So it’s the Godhead. Then the word of God reveals the
Spirit of God. Genesis 1:2 And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. The Holy
Spirit. Two persons revealed to us in Genesis – the Father and the Holy Ghost. There are 3
revealed to us in Genesis. The Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost. The word is not a
person. The logos of God the revelation of God. It is the thought of God clothed with
vocabulary that proceeds from the Father. He was not a person until He became a person.
Throughout the Church there’s too much misunderstanding about the person of Jesus and
even the Holy Spirit because they wouldn’t study the Bible and rather remain with what
somebody said without ever studying the Bible. God’s not going to hold anyone responsible
for that. You are responsible for your own ignorance and you are also held accountable
because you are old enough to study. Assumptions are unnecessary here. 1 John 5:7-8 For
there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and
these three are one. (8) And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the
water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
The spoken word became the living word. The angels never saw anyone called Jesus playing
around or running around in heaven. John 1:14 KJV And the Word was made flesh, and
dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth.
This is the first time the word of God took personality out of God the Father. The one that
became flesh received the Spirit of God in fullness. John 1:32 KJV And John bare record,
saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. When
Jesus was here this was His ministry.

The Holy Spirit is the only person that can bring the power of God to human lives. He’s the
one that can manifest the presence of God to a human person. God is so big. Who is the Holy
Spirit? Let me tell you. The Holy Spirit is not someone one day who just showed up in
heaven as God the Father was on the throne, He turned around and saw somebody else and
said “Hey! How are you” and the other one said “Well I’m known as the Spirit” It’s not like
that. It’s not that the Father sits somewhere and the Holy Spirit sits somewhere else and
discuss “What are we going to do now..” Who is the Holy Spirit? He is not some cloud
moving around in heaven without a shape. Moving with pseudopodia all over the place. No!
Who is the Holy Ghost?
John 15:26 KJV But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the
Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of
me:

That is the key. Jesus didn’t say who is coming from the Father and nor did Jesus say who
shall come from the Father. Jesus said who comes from the Father. The Holy Ghost is the one
proceeds from the Father. The Father is always on the throne. He never leaves the throne. He
never needs to go from one place to another. Someone said “Oh that would be boring..” He
doesn’t need to go to where. He Himself is distance and time. Where should He reach?
Higher than the heaven and He outweighs the cosmos. Where is the place when He fills all
The Fullness and the Fire

Page

things? The Father sits on the throne and He wants to go over there, He proceeds from Him
and remains on His throne and He is not diminished. Did you understand that? He proceeds
from Him and goes over there and another place and another and another and still not
diminished. He is the same. In His totality He is here as well as there. Not one hand going
here and another hand going somewhere else or jumping from place to place. That which
proceeds from Him is known as the Holy Ghost. That is the Spirit of God. He is Himself
God. When you talk about the Holy Ghost, don’t think someone junior to Jesus or the Father.
He is coequal with God and He is God. He revealed His Son. When He brought His son to us
He was led to the cross. He died for us. He was wounded for our transgressions and was
bruised for our iniquities. The Son did His job and left! Who is this Holy Ghost? John 14:16-
17 KJV And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may
abide with you for ever; (17) Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive,
because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you,
and shall be in you.

The world cannot see him because the world can only believe what they see with their senses.
They can only know what they can sense. Sense based knowledge. Gnosis. There is another
kind of knowledge is there. Ginosko, eido and epignosis. The prophets understood that the
coming of the Son of Almighty God was the presence of God with us. God with us.
Emmanuel! The word became flesh and the word was the word of God and not the word of a
man. The word became flesh and His own received him not. John 1:10 KJV He was in the
world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. John 1:18 No man hath
seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath
declared him.
There was a greater revelation that was to come. This was God’s dream all the time. He
exemplified it in Jesus. When Jesus received the Holy Ghost. Jesus was 100% man and 100%
God. Not 50% - 50%. He was different from everybody else. When the anointing came on
Moses, Joshua, Samson, David they received it in a measure. There was one to come to
whom God would not give the Holy Spirit by measure. John 3:34 KJV For he whom God
hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
Isaiah 11:2 KJV And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and
understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the
LORD;

These are the seven Spirits of God. Jesus was full of these seven Spirits of God. The
completeness of God in the flesh.

It wasn’t the miracle that gives a man boldness but the Spirit of God.

Joshua 1:9 KJV Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not
afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou
goest.

Revelation 5:6 KJV And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts,
and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and
seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

The Spirit of God is around the whole world. This is new before Jesus came the angel of the
Lord who is the Holy Ghost. Genesis 32:24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a
man with him until the breaking of the day. The angel of the Lord wrestled with Jacob all
The Fullness and the Fire

night long. Everytime He wanted to go Jacob held Him down and said “No you don’t” until
Genesis 32:25 He touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of
joint, as he wrestled with him. Knocked Jacob down. TKO. Technical Knockout. The Holy
Ghost.
Genesis 32:26 KJV And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let
thee go, except thou bless me.
Jacob said “I can’t let you go until you bless me.” Something strange about this man that
wrestled with Jacob. Jacob knew it was God and said “I won’t let you go until you bless me”.
The angel of God said “I cannot bless you..” and Jacob asked why? The angel of the Lord
said “What’s your name?” Jacob replied “My name is Jacob”
What’s the meaning of Jacob? >> Swindler, fast guy.
God said “I can’t bless you for that is your name. You are a swindler. You are Jacob. Jacob
don’t get no blessing” and Jacob cried “Ohhh you got to bless me please..” and God said
“Alright! Your name will be changed now. You shall no longer be called Jacob but
henceforth be called Israel for you are a prince of power with God.”

Every time God wanted to do something here and there the Holy Spirit went. He was called
the angel of God’s presence. Isaiah 63:9-11 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the
angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare
them, and carried them all the days of old. (10) But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit:
therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them. (11) Then he
remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up
out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?

You see God is so wonderful. He cries for you when you are rebelling against Him. Then he
remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up
out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock?

God is in heaven and if you are going to know him it’s by the angel of His presence. The
Holy Ghost who brings that presence to us. That’s the reason when you are praying in your
room, you can actually feel the presence of God. That’s the reason why you can feel the
anointing of God’s Spirit.

When Jesus was down here all of His presence was in Jesus down here. The Holy Ghost has
not been revealed at that time. He was then still behind working behind. He was behind the
Father and now He was behind the Son of God Jesus. The time is here when He comes out all
by Himself. This is His time. It’s different time.
If you want to get to the power of God, you have to get to where Jesus was. If you wanted to
get to the anointing, you have to look for Jesus. It’s different now. John 16:8 KJV And when
he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
After Jesus performed many miracles, they didn’t believe him. The crowd that gathered to
crucify Jesus, not one person said this man is a good man. After they got healed by thousands
and thousands. They shouted Give us Barabbas. Where was blind Bartimaeus? Where was
the woman with the issue of blood? The demon possessed man in Gedara? Where was the
nobleman? Where was Jairus? Where was Joseph of Arimathea? Not even one of them could
speak up? Everybody was hiding until the man died and came to carry the body. When Jesus
preached to them, the words I speak unto you they are spirit and they are life. My body is
bread indeed! They said Phat! How can we eat your body? They came because there were
miracles and let alone Jesus fed them.

Romans 10:9-10 – It is only the Christian that believes that Jesus rose from the dead.
Everyone else believes that Jesus died on the cross.

Somebody said Jesus came out. Jesus was risen. Peter and John dashed out. Peter was an
older gentleman and John was much younger so John outran Peter but John was staying at the
entrance of the cave. He was too afraid to go in. Little John stopped and waited for Peter! So
the Pope Peter came in and went in. John says then when he saw, he believed.

All the presence of the Holy Ghost was in Jesus. The Holy Ghost was not yet revealed. The
Holy Ghost to live in a man is to have all of the life from the nature of God, to have the Holy
Spirit indwell a human person makes him undefeatable, indestructible, unconquerable. The
Holy Spirit to make His home in a man’s body is to make him more than a man. To bring into
humanity the life and power of divinity. It changes a man completely. Ye might be filled with
all the fullness of God. Jesus said to the disciples to tarry in Jerusalem for the promise of the
Father. What’s this promise? The promise of prophet Joel:: Joel 2:28 KJV And it shall come
to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your
daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see
visions:
They shall speak words of power that what they say will come to pass. These are not mere
words but the words of Almighty God. Acts 2:21 KJV And it shall come to pass, that
whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Acts 1:8 KJV But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye
shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto
the uttermost part of the earth.
Dynamic ability to cause changes. You will never be frustrated. You can change anything.
You shall receive power. The ability to cause changes. We haven’t used this yet. The church
has more power than the magicians. We haven’t recognised this yet. Much power than
Samson, David.

When the Spirit of God is working in your life we are not talking about somebody trying to
master boldness. That’s why we need to be filled with the Holy Ghost. Ephesians 5:18 KJV
And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

When you are filled, it’s not you trying to get bold and not you trying to remember scriptures.
The life we got from God is much better than that. There is a working. Samuel said to Saul,
you will come upon prophets who will be prophesying and when you come upon them the
Spirit of the Lord will come upon you and you shall prophesy with them and you shall turn
into another man. 1 Samuel 10:6 KJV And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and
thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.

When Samson came with that lion the Spirit of God came mightily upon Samson. He didn’t
know fear anymore. Suddenly he was a changed man. Doesn’t mean you will not know what
you did. It just means at that time the Spirit of God will take over your senses and you will
cease to see like men. Isaiah 11:3 KJV And shall make him of quick understanding in the
fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the
hearing of his ears:
He will see things differently. Jesus on the boat and the water is coming on the boat. Why are
you so fearful? When Jesus came to the shore and there were no boats, Jesus didn’t start
praying. He just took off the water and walked on it as though it were concrete. When they
The Fullness and the Fire

Page

saw blind eyes opened they thought they’ve seen God Almighty come down, when the deaf
ears were unstopped they shouted, when the lame got up to walk they thought it was amazing.
Now Jesus comes walking on the water and He wasn’t tip-toeing looking for the “Where is
the next piece of wood over there”

Matthew 8:27 … What manner of man is this!

Jesus didn’t do this before the Holy Spirit came on Jesus. Jesus said “Be not afraid! I am the
one.” Peter said “Hey Jesus! If you are the one ask me to come to you. I wanna do the same
like you.” Jesus said “come on .. Go ahead!” Jesus never says “Hmm? Peter! You want to try
this? Do you know who I am? I’m greater than you. You want to be like me? You are joking”
No. Jesus said come on. The Bible declares that Peter came on the word of Jesus. Peter
walked on the water. Then Peter saw the waves and began to sink. The life we are called to
live is a walk on the water. This was the difference between the man who had the Holy Ghost
and the man who didn’t. The one who did, didn’t judge according to his sight. He was
unmoved. Peter looked and began to sink. Jesus said “Why did you doubt?” All the other
disciples could have danced on the water that day if Peter hadn’t doubted.

Some people say “Well I prayed for something and it didn’t work. So I never tried it again.”
No! That’s not right.

Acts 2:1 KJV And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord
in one place.

What were they doing? Meditation! They’d become broken. All their options were over. And
suddenly! Acts 2:2-4 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty
wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. (3) And there appeared unto them
cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. (4) And they were all filled with
the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Volume 1: Part 3
ur Christian life is a very special calling. We
are called of God to this life. It’s not an
ordinary life. God has chosen us. We are
anointed of God’s Spirit. We are God’s people.
Many times a Christian’s life may be somewhat
ordinary. The way it looks the things that happen to
that one and things could get even get a bit confusing
whether or not there is a God in heaven or whether
God is concerned about the Christian. As we grow as
a Christian we’ll know better and we’ll also know
how to position ourselves in line with God’s Spirit and God’s word. We are not ordinary.
People may take us to be ordinary but we are not. We do have a responsibility in this as the
coming of the Lord draws nearer , we’ll notice that the anointing upon God’s children
will increase and a lot more will be accomplished. Zechariah 4:6 This is the word of the
LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the
LORD of hosts. The church is many times taken lightly. The native doctor said nobody
O
The Fullness and the Fire

Page

should pass this road and because of it no one will pass. The Church said the same thing but
everyone is talking. The Church is challenged many times. The church is taken for granted.
Taken lightly but I tell you we are learning God’s word and it’s not only be going to be a
blessing. Genesis 12:3 KJV And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth
thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. The same Ark of God that was a
blessing to Israel was a curse to another. It killed one man and was a blessing to another .
God’s church must not be taken lightly. However, you are not going to make them take us
seriously by saying that they should take us seriously because it will never work. Never will.
They will be forced to take us seriously by virtue of the things that happen. In the early
church the apostles were persecuted for preaching but after some signs and wonders took
place everyone left them alone. It’s getting to the time to leave us alone. The clock is ticking
and it’s getting closer. God is doing His work. Do you know the time? Where we are at now?
Study the 70 weeks of Daniel and the book of Revelation. The church is not as weak as some
people think. 1 Chronicles 16:22 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no
harm. Psalms 105:15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. We
don’t need to warn them. God knows what to do. I told you once when the Holy Spirit says
the same thing twice; you have to be very careful because the third time there will be no
saying.

We’ve been talking about the fullness and the fire and this time I want to talk about when you
meet the angel of the Lord. Go to the 63
rd
Chapter of Isaiah’s Gospel. You know Isaiah is a
gospel. He said Who hath believed our report? And his report was a good one. Good repot is
gospel.

Isaiah 63:7-9 KJV I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the
LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward
the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according
to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses. (8) For he said, Surely they are my people, children
that will not lie: so he was their Saviour. (9) In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the
angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare
them, and carried them all the days of old.

In their afflictions He was also afflicted. He said Saul Saul why persecutes thou me? He
didn’t say why persecutes my children? The angel is H4397
אלמ ך mal'âk mal-awk'
From an unused root meaning to despatch as a deputy; a messenger; specifically of God, that is, an angel (also a
prophet, priest or teacher): - ambassador, angel, king, messenger.

The conveyor of His presence, the messenger of His presence is the Holy Ghost. The Holy
Ghost is the one that takes God’s presence from place to place. God almighty is on His throne
and moves by His Spirit. His Spirit takes His Presence and His Power to wherever God
wants. The Holy Ghost is not the younger brother of Jesus. He is Himself God. In Genesis 12
it says “Now the Lord had said unto Abraham..” That doesn’t mean God said. God had said
means this is something the God had said prior to this time.
Genesis 11:24-32 And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah: (25) And
Nahor lived after he begat Terah an hundred and nineteen years, and begat sons and
daughters. (26) And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran. (27)
Now these are the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran
begat Lot. (28) And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of
the Chaldees. (29) And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram's wife was

Sarai; and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah,
and the father of Iscah. (30) But Sarai was barren; she had no child. (31) And Terah took
Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son's son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son
Abram's wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of
Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there. (32) And the days of Terah were two
hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran. Genesis 12:1 KJV Now the LORD had
said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's
house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

So now where in the world did God said that to Abram before?

The Holy Spirit has given it to us in the book of Acts. 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given
by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness:

This was the man Stephen who was made to face the council during the persecution.
Acts 7:1-3 KJV Then said the high priest, Are these things so? (2) And he said, Men,
brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when
he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran, (3) And said unto him, Get thee out of
thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee.

So God said this to Abram when he was in Mesopotamia.

Genesis 12:1-3 KJV Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and
from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: (2) And I
will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou
shalt be a blessing: (3) And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth
thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

So at this time Abram had met with God Almighty. But just because God has talked to you,
has spoken to you or revealed something to you about your life and about your future is not to
say that you know Him. There is a special kind of revelation that God grants to you that you
should know Him. When you meet God. You haven’t met Him just because you heard His
word, you haven’t met him just because He touched your life, you haven’t met Him just
because you got healed. God blessed Abram but still Abram couldn’t believe he was going to
have any child.
Genesis 15:1-6 KJV After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision,
saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. (2) And Abram
said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is
this Eliezer of Damascus? (3) And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and,
lo, one born in my house is mine heir. (4) And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto
him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels
shall be thine heir. (5) And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward
heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy
seed be. (6) And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Abram believed! Just because you believed one time doesn’t mean that you will always
believe. The man believed and God got into a covenant with him that very day that very
night. Then again just because you got into a covenant with God doesn’t mean that you’ll
always believe. Do you always believe? Sometimes you doubt. Sometimes you wonder
The Fullness and the Fire

Page
17

whether God’s word would really come to pass. You are not the first. Abram was just like
you. Abram did doubted one more time.

In this sixteenth chapter, something beautiful happened. After Abram had believed the Lord
and he was now sure that he was going to have a son, Sarai came and said “I know the secret.
You are getting older. You are 99 years old. God helps who help themselves. Faith without
works is dead. I’ve got a clue. If you want God to do something, you better do something.”
Some of us are just that way. Abram said “One from mine own bowels shall be mine heir.
That’s what God said” and Sarai said “Yeah I know. Did God say from which womb?
Tonight you will have a child.” Abram is in the room and Sarai gets her housemaid Hagar
and pushes her inside and said “Alright! Now is the time to make God’s word come to pass.”
Abram went into Hagar and got Ishmael. The problem is lasting a whole age. It has been
there. The middle east problem was caused by Sarai. She caused it. That’s how Abram
thought God would do it. Somehow within him he knew something was a miss.
Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to
Abram, and said unto him, I am El Shaddai; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
Why did God have to introduce himself to Abram? Because Abram didn’t know God. God
said “If I tell you something that I can bring it to pass. Do you hear me Abram! I am El
Shaddai”
Genesis 17:2-9 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee
exceedingly. (3) And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, (4) As for
me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. (5) Neither
shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of
many nations have I made thee. (6) And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make
nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. (7) And I will establish my covenant
between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant,
to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. (8) And I will give unto thee, and to thy
seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an
everlasting possession; and I will be their God. (9) And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt
keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.

Now God changed the name of this man from Abram to Abraham. Genesis 17:15-16 And
God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah
shall her name be. (16) And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless
her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.

Now look at Abraham!
Genesis 17:17-18 KJV Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart,
Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety
years old, bear? (18) And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!

All the time Abraham thought it was Ishmael that God was talking and when God said that
Sarah shall bare a son Abraham couldn’t hold it back. He laughed. Genesis 17:19-20 KJV
And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name
Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his
seed after him. (20) And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and
will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I
will make him a great nation.

You want to know about Ishmael you can study in the 21st Chapter where they were driven
away and also the 16th chapter you also have some information. You can understand what
kind of a man Ishmael was supposed to be. Let’s take a look at the Arab world.
Genesis 16:7-12 And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the
wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur. (8) And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence
camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress
Sarai. (9) And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit
thyself under her hands. (10) And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy
seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude. (11) And the angel of the
LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his
name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction. (12) And he will be a wild
man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall
dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

Alright let’s get back.

God appeared to Abraham and said “I am El Shaddai” The strong and breasted one. “I’m big
enough to take care of you and to protect you and to nourish you. I am the strong and the
breasted one” God did the same for Isaac and Jacob. Jacob got the inheritance.

Genesis 28:10-11 KJV And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran. (11)
And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and
he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to
sleep.

Hey! How would you like to have stones for your pillow?

Genesis 28:12-15 KJV And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top
of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. (13)
And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father,
and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; (14)
And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and
to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the
families of the earth be blessed. (15) And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all
places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee,
until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.

A lot of times God is present and doing a lot of things and you don’t know it. Look at Jacob
and he didn’t know it. Genesis 28:16 And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely
the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.

Do you remember John saying “I write to you children because you have known him” and
again “I write to you fathers because you have known him”.
These are two different kinds of knowledge of God. This is a revelation of acquaintance. You
have moved from faith to faith+trust. When you trust God it’s based on experiential
knowledge of Him. You are no longer the person saying “Well he’s discouraged let’s try to
counsel him.” Nobody is going to do that. You are now more than a conqueror. Romans 8:37
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

The Fullness and the Fire

Page

We are not thinking of we are going to be winning. We are not looking at the struggle
anymore. Faith to faith+trust. You trust one that you know. You don’t trust one that you do
not know. You may have faith in what he said unconsciously but you can only trust him when
you know him. You got a job and they said “We’ll pay you X amount of money” and signed
the contract and started to work. He hasn’t given you anything yet but you had faith in him.
You didn’t trust him. You had faith in what he said. He said he’ll pay you so you had faith.
Yet you don’t know him and so you cannot trust him. You have faith in the contract but you
trust the person.

Faith comes by hearing.
Trust comes by knowledge!

Your trust increases by knowledge.

God had to introduce Himself to Abram. “Hello! I am El Shaddai. The strong and the
breasted one. Pleased to meet you Abram!” Abraham got acquainted with El Shaddai. Talked
with Him. Jacob is now hearing the same Spirit that called his grandpa out. But there’s more
for Jacob. He’s still a fast guy. He’s still a swindler. Watching everybody and outsmarting
everybody. They named him before he did anything wrong at his birth.

After Jacob came from his uncle’s house he began to journey home. God has mightily blessed
him. Just because God has blessed you in not enough to know Him. You don’t know him in
the blessing. The blessing comes with faith. There’s a different kind of walk with God.
There’s a higher level of blessing that takes you beyond the material things of this life. Where
you are not moved by them. People get happy when you get the goods of life and sad when
don’t have them. Happy when money comes in and sad when there is no money. Yet you
ought to come to be like Paul who said “I’ve learnt in whatsoever state I am to be
independent on circumstances.” His life had gone beyond that. No wonder he was taken to
the 3
rd
heaven as a trip. You don’t look at physical possessions. Higher level of blessings in
your life. Luke 12:15 for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he
possesseth.

Genesis 32:24 KJV And Jacob was left alone..

It is important that you get left alone. When you are left alone, that’s really when God begins
talking. That’s when you can really find the revelation. Every man or woman in the Bible had
this quiet time. If you don’t have this experience of being alone and quiet before the Lord,
you will not accomplish much. Creative life, exceptional business or academic life you must
have quiet time. Ok we’ll get there.

Genesis 32:24 KJV And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the
breaking of the day.
All night long a man wrestled with him. Jacob also started wrestling with him. How do you
like to be alone and suddenly unprovoked? A man just comes inside and starts fighting you.
A man wrestled with Jacob all night long until dawn. Genesis 32:25 KJV And when he saw
that he prevailed not against him, Jacob was a strong man. So when He saw that prevailed
not against him He touched the hollow of Jacob’s thigh and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was
out of joint. Genesis 32:25 KJV And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he
touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he
wrestled with him.

Then the man wanted to go. Genesis 32:26 KJV And he said, Let me go, for the day
breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

Jacob says “No you don’t! I won’t let you go until you bless me!”

The man knew that the greater is the one that blesses the lesser. So Jacob had an insight.
Jacob knew who this man was. This was the blessed man of the East. Jacob. The blessed
man. The one with the Abrahamic covenant and now Jacob tells this man “I will not let you
go until you bless me”. This should let you know that the man who was wrestling with him
was not an ordinary man. Hallelujah!
Genesis 32:27-28 KJV And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. (28)
And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou
power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

Then Jacob also asked Him “Tell me tell me.. What is your name too.. Tell me will you…”
Genesis 32:29 KJV And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he
said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
This is the Holy Ghost and the Holy Ghost He is not answering any name because His time
has not come. He is the one who is taking the presence of God. He is the Almighty God.

Genesis 32:30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to
face, and my life is preserved.

Jacob realised that this was the Almighty God at present. He realised that this was the
Almighty God. The same one who told his grandpapa “I am El Shaddai. Walk before me”
This is wonderful.
Genesis 32:31 KJV And as he passed over Penuel the sun rose upon him, and he halted upon
his thigh.
The sun rises upon you when you meet Him. Malachi 4:2 …the Sun of righteousness arise
with healing in his wings

Every time God met them, He changed their names. Until Abraham met him, he was Abram
even though he had the promises. But now when He met him, You are no longer known as
Abram but Abraham. Not assumed father but the father of many nations.
When Jacob met Him, he was no longer Jacob but Israel. Not swindler but prince who has
power with God.

Alright ENTER Moses..!

Exodus 3:1-4 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and
he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to
Horeb. (2) And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst
of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not
consumed. (3) And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush
is not burnt. (4) And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him
out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

This was the Holy Ghost in the fire. The angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of
fire. The flame was the angel of the Lord. The presence of the Lord appeared to Moses in a

fire. So was it the fire that appeared or was it the angel of the Lord that appeared as a fire? I
can’t understand how some folks read their Bibles.

Exodus 3:5 KJV And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the
place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
The presence of God.

Exodus 3:6 KJV Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God
of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

God needed to introduce Himself properly to Moses before Moses could go to Pharaoh. God
needs to introduce Him to you properly. You need to know him properly. It’s not enough to
say “I worship Him” It’s not enough to study the Bible. You need a personal acquaintance
with Him. An encounter with Him. That you know that you know He is your God.

Exodus 6:1-2 KJV Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to
Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive
them out of his land. (2) And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am JEHOVAH:
Exodus 6:3 KJV And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of
El Shaddai, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
Jehovah is the name that God uses to talk to people when He talks covenant. It is God’s
covenant name that binds Him to His people. El Shaddai appear to them and helps them but
Jehovah puts His presence there. What you do to them, you do to Jehovah!

God has been with you all your life. Just because you were defeated doesn’t mean that God
was not there. He was there all the time. You didn’t know Him. You needed another
revelation of Him. Read John 18
Jesus is standing with His disciples and several soldiers are coming from the chief priest.
They are coming to arrest Jesus. Jesus says to them “Whom do you seek?” and they say
“Jesus of Nazareth!” and Jesus said “I AM he!” and everyone falls under the power. John
18:6 As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the
ground.
Then they got up again and while they were dusting themselves Jesus asked again “Whom do
you seek? And they said again “Jesus of Nazareth! And Jesus said I have told you that I am
he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:. Now Peter is angry now because his faith
has come up because they all fell under the power as Jesus spoke. So Peter drew his sword
and cut off the right ear of the high priest’s servant. The thing dropped. Peter though now this
was war! Jesus said John 18:11Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath:
the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?
Then Jesus took that piece and healed that soldier. What I want you to see is that Jesus had
enough fire power to blow everybody out of existence at that moment. He did but He didn’t.
He had the power but He didn’t. why? Jesus said “This is your hour and the power of
darkness” Jesus said “I spoke to you openly and you never arrested me then but this is your
hour!”

God Almighty was there but He knew that this was not the time for Him to take vengeance.
This was the time for salvation and redemption. The revelation of God that the people needed
was the revelation of His grace at that time. Not the revelation of Jehovah Sabaoth. The Lord
of host – the God of war. That’s not what they needed. They needed to know the Isaiah 53:5
The Fullness and the Fire

Page
22

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the
chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
He came as a lamb. That was the dispensation then. God knew that the time would come
when Jesus would be revealed not as a lamb but the lion of the tribe of Juda. Revelation 5:5
KJV And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the
Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
The same one. God has been with you. Depending on the revelation you’ve got of God. The
times you find in a predicament and God can bring you out and God could have got you out
of trouble and yet you got into trouble. Why? Not because He couldn’t help you and not
because He could not but because there is a revelation of God you require.

So God spoke to Moses and said “Moses, Pharaoh is talking tough and it’s time for us to get
tough. As El Shaddai he will not let you go. But I want him to know that I am Jehovah. We
are changing things and we are changing the order.” The covenant God. In other words I am
tied to my people and if my people are in bondage I AM with them and we are coming out in
this revelation. They are not alone. Moses was enjoying all these.

Exodus 6:3 KJV And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of
El Shaddai, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
Abraham Isaac and Jacob didn’t know me as Jehovah. They knew me as El Shaddai.

Exodus 6:4-6 KJV And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land
of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers. (5) And I have also
heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I
have remembered my covenant. (6) Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am
JEHOVAH, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid
you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great
judgments:

When God gets tough, there is a change. Exodus 6:8 KJV And I will bring you in unto the
land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I
will give it you for an heritage: I am JEHOVAH.

Moses get to meet Jehovah. Jehovah is the one that stays with His people together. Jehovah is
tied to His people by His covenant. Do you understand? Isaiah 43:1-3 KJV But now thus
saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I
have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. (2) When thou passest
through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee:
when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle
upon thee. (3) For I am JEHOVAH thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave
Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.

Do you remember the last man?
Exodus 14:19 KJV And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and
went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind
them:
Here is the last man and ahead of them went the angel of the Lord in a pillar of fire. He was
always at the front leading them. The Bible says that He gets out of there and gets behind
them. Why? After that last man of the children of Israel, you have the Egyptians. So God is
ready for a showdown! So He gets away from there and stands behind them. He wants to

know who is coming. Exodus 14:20-21 KJV And it came between the camp of the Egyptians
and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to
these: so that the one came not near the other all the night. (21) And Moses stretched out his
hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that
night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.
God did it with a blast of His nostrils. When He did that, it caused the strongest wind and
split the Red Sea wide open and held the waters to form a wall. As though they were
congealed. The Holy Ghost!

Exodus 14:22-23 KJV And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry
ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. (23)
And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's
horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

When God let the children of Israel go in He was with them. When they were gone the
Egyptians said “Hey! Look! Moses’ God is a poor General. Go get all of them back to
Egypt” Exodus 14:24-30 KJV And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD
looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled
the host of the Egyptians, (25) And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them
heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth
for them against the Egyptians. (26) And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand
over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and
upon their horsemen. (27) And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea
returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and
the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. (28) And the waters returned,
and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the
sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them. (29) But the children of Israel
walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their
right hand, and on their left. (30) Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of
the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.

That’s the angel of the Lord that saved them. Isaiah 63:9 KJV In all their affliction he was
afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed
them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.

Moses began to sing and he sang that song unto God. I’m trying to show you something
here.

ENTER Joshua!
God spoke to Joshua and He already began leading Joshua but there was a lot the man didn’t
know. And God is the strategist here. He knows the way. He knows how to get the enemy.
The Lord is not resting! Jesus is on His throne but the Holy Ghost is at war.
Joshua 5:13 KJV And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes
and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his
hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?
You see? Joshua is a young man and he wants to fight everybody. Are you for us or against
us. Joshua 5:14 KJV And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now
come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What
saith my lord unto his servant?
The Fullness and the Fire

Page
24

Elisha knew that host. [Study 2 Kings 6]. They were surrounded once. The servant cried
“Master Master we are surrounded!” Elisha said “Shut up! What’s the matter with you?
Those that are with us more than those that are with them” and Elisha said “O Lord open
this man’s eyes and let him see.” And God opened his eyes and the servant saw that those
that surrounded Elisha’s house were surrounded with chariots of fire.
Brothers and sisters, we are not alone. They were there when the servant didn’t know. Elisha
knew that if he were with Joshua they have to be with him. Elisha didn’t say “O God open
my eyes so that I can see for now those that are with us..” no he prayed for his servants eyes
to be opened. He was so sure. When you know this you walk with your head high.

Joshua 5:14-15 KJV And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now
come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What
saith my lord unto his servant? (15) And the captain of the LORD'S host said unto Joshua,
Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did
so.
This captain is the same Holy Ghost who was with Moses in the burning bush. Same one who
said “I am El Shaddai” and the same one who said “I am Jehovah!” When He said Jehovah
He didn’t stop being El Shaddai. Something more that they needed to know. The Holy Ghost.

Daniel 3:19-25 KJV Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was
changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded
that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. (20)
And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach,
and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. (21) Then these men were
bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into
the midst of the burning fiery furnace. (22) Therefore because the king's commandment was
urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. (23) And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and
Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. (24) Then
Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his
counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and
said unto the king, True, O king. (25) He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose,
walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the
Son of God.

Nebuchadnezzar didn’t have any sense. Jehovah was there. Isaiah 43:2 KJV When thou
passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow
thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame
kindle upon thee.

They went through the water and it didn’t overflow them and they went through the fire and
it didn’t burn them.

Volume 1: Part
4
he word of God is good for
us. Amen. We are talking
about the fullness & the
fire. This time I want to talk about
the dependence on the Holy Spirit.
Thank God for the Holy Ghost.
Jesus said to His disciples to tarry
in Jerusalem until they receive the Holy Ghost and be endured with power. What did they do?
They didn’t have the Holy Spirit to know what to do or who was called to the apostleship.
Jesus asked them to tarry till they receive the Holy Spirit. Jesus didn’t ask them to cast lots to
get one as an apostle! When the Holy Spirit comes He will guide them in that matter. But no!
What did they do? They gave forth their lots and the lot fell on Matthias. This is not the way
God deals with men and that is the only place you read about this man Matthias in the whole
Bible. There was no record of him afterwards. John 14:16-17 KJV And I will pray the
Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (17)
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither
knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
Why was Jesus so concerned that His disciples should receive the Holy Spirit? Jesus told
many things to His disciples about the Holy Ghost and what He will do for them. Someone
asked “What’s the difference between the Holy Ghost and the Holy Spirit?” They are one the
same. King James uses the term Holy Ghost and the new translations use Holy Spirit.

The most striking thing about receiving the Holy Spirit in our lives is what I want to beging
to share with you. Jesus said John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth
nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
This promise was given to the church by the prophet Ezekiel. Ezekiel 36:24-27 KJV For I
will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you
into your own land. (25) Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean:
from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. (26) A new heart also
will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out
of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. (27) And I will put my spirit within you,
and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

This refers to the new birth. A new spirit has He given unto us when we got born again. In
other words if any man be in Christ he is a new creation. 2 Corinthians 5:17. In other words
when you accept Jesus as the Lord of your life believing God raised Jesus from the dead,
according to Romans 10:9-10 you have no past. You are brand new. You are a new kind of
person. You have a new life, and it’s another life. Your nature has changes now. You were a
thief once but when you accepted Jesus now you don’t want to steal anymore. You now know
it’s wrong. Being born again by the word of God. When you are born again you are no longer
hardened to God’s word and you become a softy for God’s word. The love of God is shed
abroad in your hearts by the Holy Ghost. In the 26
th
verse A new heart also will I give you,
and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh,
and I will give you an heart of flesh. He’s talking about the same thing. Peter calls him the

hidden man of the heart. The inward man is new. Now God doesn’t stop there. He says in
verse 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye
shall keep my judgments, and do them. This was new. God’s Spirit used to come upon them.
Not on every man but only on the King, the Priest and the Prophet. But now God’s saying in
the new creation He’s not going to put His Spirit upon them but within them. That’s what we
are seeing today. 27
th
verse .. cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my
judgments, and do them.. This is the reason Jesus said to wait till the Holy Ghost comes.
Because you are not going to live according to your own thinking, move according to your
own thinking, live according to your own ability – but the Holy Spirit will cause you, in other
words the Holy Spirit will make you to walk in God’s ways. Your own religious efforts will
come to a close. Have you ever observed a person who is born again and received the Holy
Spirit to come and live in him and speaks in tongues is always studying the Bible? He always
talks about the Bible. His heart is there. Why? The Holy Ghost. Hebrews 4:10 KJV For he
that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

In the Old Testament they tried to serve God but couldn’t. God spoke from the top of mount
Sinai and while God was speaking to the all of them heard the voice of God. They heard the
voice and got scared. They said “We are scared of God today. Moses you listen to God and
whatever God tells you, you come back and tell us. We will obey” So Moses listened and
came back and told them what God has said. Then they said they will obey. God said “If you
will obey my voice and do what I told you to do, I will bless you and make you a kingdom of
priests unto me.” However, Israel couldn’t. They broke His law, broke the covenant. The
Bible says that they vexed the Holy Spirit. They resisted the Holy Spirit and then He fought
against them. Why was against them? Fighting against because he could try to help them.
Look at this. Here you are and something out there is dangerous and you know that. This
little rascal is trying to get through the door and you are stopping him and he’s struggling and
you are stopping him and he’s pushing you off. You have to fight him first. You have to put
him out of action for his own good.

They wanted to obey God but it was not in them. Take it like this. Just because a man steals it
doesn’t make him a thief. But a thief whether he’s stolen or not will definitely steal. So the
man born into this world is a fallen man and is a sinner. It’s no point imposing a law to a man
who is a thief. He will not steal because of the punishment but his nature is still there. The
moment he gets a chance to do it he’ll do it. This is why Jesus came. That’s why you need to
be born again. It doesn’t matter how good you try to live if you are not born again you will
not go to heaven because you are still a sinner. A sinner cannot be in heaven. It’s like a thief
who has not stolen yet. The man must be born again. A new heart also will I give you, and a
new spirit will I put within you. You will find a detailed explanation on this in the teachings
titled The Concept of Sin and Overcoming your world.

So these guys tried to obey God’s commandments. They tried but they could not. So when
they could not, they got angry with God. So God said “I’m going to do a new thing. First I
will give you a new heart and a new spirit and I will put my Spirit within you and cause you
to walk in my statues and you shall keep my judgements and do them.”
In other words you would not have to make an effort to obey me. I’ll put my Spirit in you and
when my Spirit comes in you, you don’t have to struggle to obey. You will automatically
walk in my judgements.

In the Old Testament when you obey God’s commandments, God will bless you and He will
make you a kingdom of Priests. In the New Testament He didn’t say when you obey God.
The Fullness and the Fire

You are born a kingdom of priests. Everyone whose born again is born into Zion as a priest.
You are born blessed, born into a land of blessing. You will not have to obey first but you
have been given the life that obeys naturally. So you don’t need a commandment. You cannot
but walk in love. When you are born again you don’t have to make an effort to love someone
but it’s in your nature. The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, meekness, gentleness.. The product
of the recreated human spirit. First is love. He doesn’t need to be commanded to love. He’s
born that way. “When my spirit comes into you I will make you do my work” That doesn’t
mean that you will have a mind anymore.

It’s like that fellow who is now born again and he says “I will never tell a lie anymore” three
days later he tells another lie. “Ahhh haa.. O God I’m sorry I told another lie. I will never lie
again.” He almost wants to bite his tongue. One week later he lies again and now he’s
frustrated. There are things he doesn’t want to do but he keeps doing them and then he says
“O God of Heaven!” God knows much more than you do that you don’t want to go in that
way. He already made provision and we are learning through this teaching how to take
advantage of them. God’s people wants to serve God. All of God’s people. Love rejoiceth not
in iniquity. We are the offspring of God when you are born again. No man can enter the
kingdom unless he is born again. You have to be born again in accordance to Romans 10:9-
10. That confirmation will not take you to heaven no matter how good you were living here
on earth! Do you understand? The nature of the thief should be wiped out and should receive
the nature and life of God. God is not a god of love but God is love. That’s your nature.

God knows you. God knows that you want to do right. God knows that you keep doing that
wrong things is because you think that’s the only way. You think you are helpless. And I will
put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my
judgments, and do them.
When the Holy Ghost comes to live in your heart He will cause you to walk in God’s ways.
He’ll cause you to do the things of God. He’ll make you do it. He’ll make you read the Bible,
He’ll make you pray, He’ll make you give your tithes, He’ll make you love your friends,
He’ll make you walk out of the wrong paths of making money, He’ll make you give money
to the poor, He’ll make you preach the Gospel to every creature in all the world. You will
make no effort but you’ll find yourself doing it.

Ezekiel 36:28-29 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be
my people, and I will be your God. (29) I will also save you from all your uncleannesses:

This is different from the Old Covenant. In the Old Covenant God will say “You will clean
yourselves and if you are not clean don’t come to me!” A lot of people are still living there.
You ask them “Do you believe in Jesus Christ?” they say “Yeap!” and you ask “Are you
born again?” they’ll say “No, I’m working on it.. and when I’m through working on it I’ll
come.” That’s wrong brother. You cannot work on it yourself. If you could, you wouldn’t
need Jesus Christ to die on the cross and be raised back to life again. He came because you
could not.Matthew 11:28 KJV Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I
will give you rest.

Ezekiel 36:29 KJV I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the
corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.
He’s telling about prosperity. When you receive the Holy Spirit He’ll start calling for the
corn. There are lot of God’s people who are broke. Prosperity is a product of the Holy Ghost.
There’s a lot of God’s children who give money to God and say “Well I gave and it didn’t

come back.” And some even put everything they’ve got and never got back. There’s a
problem in you. When you sow the seed until the rain falls something will go wrong with the
seed. Zechariah 10:1 KJV Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the
LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the
field. He’s talking about the Holy Ghost. When you give or when you sow your seed, if it’s
going to come back it’s going to be as a result of the rain. What rain? Your prayer is what
makes the rain fall. When you pray! People don’t pray. They give and they expect and that’s
gambling in the church. Using the Bible for gambling. When you give to God, you recognise
that He’s Almighty God and you pray and you water it. Pray in the Holy Ghost. You believe
in the God that brings it back, you believe in the Harvest. They you pray in the Holy Ghost
and water your seed and water your ground. Your heart is the ground of faith. When you do
that you will have a harvest and you will have no room to get it back. When many sow they
just throw some money and expect, and when it doesn’t they feel frustrated. What’s the
difference between you and the gambler in the street who knows not God? When you start
praying. That’s the point. The power of God is not the thing. The power of God is the power
from a rational being. God is not a computer. We relate with Him. When you give to God it’s
not the input output in a machine. When you give to God we talk to Him and relate with Him.
There’s a relationship with Him.

He says “I will call for the corn!” God didn’t say when my Spirit comes you will call for the
corn. When you receive the Holy Ghost good things just follow you. Psalms 23:6 Surely
goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of
the LORD for ever.
Look at the promise: Ezekiel 36:29-31 KJV I will also save you from all your uncleannesses:
and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you. (30) And I will
multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more
reproach of famine among the heathen. (31) Then shall ye remember your own evil ways,
and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your
iniquities and for your abominations.

The Old Testament says “Hey! You get out of that mess, and get yourself clean and I will
bless you” In the new Testament God is saying “I will so bless you and embarrass you with
blessings until you look around and say What have I done to deserve this? Why is God so
good with me?” Have you come to that point in your life? That’s where I live brother! Boy
I’m so blessed.

Now look at the biggest thing here. Ezekiel 36:32 KJV Not for your sakes do I this, saith the
Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house
of Israel. In other words God is saying “I’m doing it not because you paid the price or did
something about it, not because you look good, not because you prayed so much, not because
you did this or that..” Look at that! Not because any of these but you’ll be ashamed and
confounded for your own ways. Look at this
Ezekiel 36:33-36 KJV Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you
from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be
builded. (34) And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all
that passed by. (35) And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the
garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are
inhabited. (36) Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD
build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I
will do it.

Here is something beautiful. God is doing all these. Somebody said “My my my.. why isn’t he
doing it then?” This shows you what God wants to do. This shows you what God wants to
operate in your life. You’ve got to know that this is how He wants to operate. You have to
know. Did you know that is the way that God intend to operate in your life? I will put my
spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statues. Before you came into Christ you never
read the Bible like you read it now, before you came to Christ you never spoke about Jesus as
you are doing it now and why are you now doing it? The heathen may look upon you and say
“Hey that kid went to that crusade and got born again! Now he’s going to church every
Sunday. Why? What happened to him?” Do you see that? The Holy Ghost. You have to
receive the Holy Ghost. You have to speak in tongues brother.

Let me read the next scripture from the Amplified Bible. I know most of you are children of
King James. King James was buried many years ago. So it’s not compulsory that your Bible
must be King James’ Translation. But King James is beautiful and I like it. The King James’
translation and the poetic style of it’s writing is a masterpiece. Did you know that? That’s the
best work done in English throughout the ages. Yeah, better than Shakespeare. Some of you
are surprised. Now all you publishers of King James don’t forget me for good salesmanship.
For saying this on open public platform. Ha ha ha.. Alright! Let me read it for you in King
James’ first so that I can settle some of you.
Ephesians 2:10 KJV For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works,
which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
I don’t know how many of you really understood that. See to understand that you have to
study it properly; you have to read it again and again and again, you have to compare
scripture and sometimes read it in Koine Greek to understand what he really said there. Let
me read it to you what he actually said there in the Amplified Bible.

Ephesians 2:10 AMPLIFIED For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship),
recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good work which God
predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time],
that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for
us to live].

It’s the same in Greek but the King James’ Translation is a bit cloudy and the Amplified
gives it well
Ephesians 2:10 GNT-V αυτου[of Him] γαρ[for] εσμεν[we are] ποιημα[achievement] κτισθεν
τες[being created] εν[in] χριστω[Christ] ιησου[Jesus] επι[on] εργοις[acts] αγαθοις[good] οις

In other words the Holy Ghost will take charge of our circumstances. The Holy Ghost can
handle your day. There are lot of you who are meeting people you shouldn’t be meeting, a lot
of you be in places which you shouldn’t be in your life, there are lot of you who are in jobs
which you shouldn’t have been in your life. Many of you have friends that are never
supposed to be in your life. Why? Because you were off the track. Look here: [taking paths
which He prepared ahead of time]. The Holy Spirit can handle your day. This is the life that
He has brought you into. You are not a child of chance. Everybody you meet is not supposed
to come into your world as an accident. That’s why he said Ye are more than conquerors.
Why? Because the final result has already been announced. We have won! The best thing in
The Fullness and the Fire

life is to be in God’s perfect will for your life. When you are in God’s perfect will for your
life, it doesn’t matter what you face, it doesn’t matter how big the giant is, how high the
mountain is, how deep the valley is you are more than a conqueror. That’s why David said If
I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil for thou art with me. Thy rod
and thy staff they comfort me. The Holy Ghost can handle your day. He’s already prearranged
the circumstances of your life. For some of you God already knows the children you are
going to have. You are not even married yet but God already knows. He knows whether they
are supposed to go to school. Now here you are trying to tell Him what to do. Some of you
are sitting there now and God knows where you ought to be working. God knows everybody
you would ever meet. He knows them and their names. He knows the ones that He has
arranged for you to meet brother. Now just because God knows doesn’t mean that you are
going to meet them. In the presence of God you could sink in your life. Right in His presence
just like Peter started sinking in the presence of Jesus the moment he doubted. The Bible says
Peter began to sink the Bible doesn’t say Peter sank. But he began to sink. It was a process.
When you place a stone on the surface of the water it sinks. It doesn’t begin to sink. But here
in this case Peter began to sink. Peter was beginning to sink. Then Peter cried out to Jesus and
if Peter had been quiet I guarantee you that he’d be under the water the next moment. Though
Jesus was standing in the presence of Jesus, Peter began to sink. That’s the way some people
are today. Some people are sinking right now. Why? Because you took your eyes away from
the master and looked at the roaring waves. Now you are beginning to sink and you know it.
It’s going. You are sinking and yet you are still trying. Have you ever been there? When you
find yourself still trying. Have you ever tried to start your car and you know you are
desperate to get out of there. You are trying and trying. The fellow behind is standing on his
horn and two fellows have now knocking at your window. You are trying. Then you just
don’t give up. I’ve got to move now. Oh.. Gotta get out of here.. come on.. come on.. come
on.. I’ve got to go.. I’ve got to go.. and you go Dear God! Now instead of being right behind
that steering wheel, you are now behind the car! Now you are pushing because you were still
trying even though the battery was gone.

The Holy Ghost. He can take care of your circumstances. He knows and He knows what to
do about the thoughts that come to you. He’ll cause you to do His will. What does He expect
of us? That’s why everyone of us must have the Holy Ghost.

I told you when there is a fullness, then there is a fire! There shall be a fullness. Someone
said “Well we are already full..” No not exactly. I can tell just by looking at you.

Ezekiel 36:36 KJV Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the
LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it,
and I will do it.

So now why can’t we just say “Alright, so God said it and He’ll do it..” Watch the next
verse::- Ezekiel 36:37 KJV Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the
house of Israel, to do it for them;
God says “They will still have to ask Him to do it.”
How can you ask Him to do it, if you don’t know that this is what He wants to do? Now you
know what He wants to do in your life. You can get rid of the mess.

Someone said “I always have these unclean dreams.” What you need is the fullness of the
Spirit. Hallelujah! This is the reason for prayer. When you are full of the Spirit. There are
things you cannot do until the Spirit of God helps you to do them. The Bible tells that Jesus

Christ offered himself to God through the Holy Ghost. He offered Himself through the Holy
Ghost. After He received the Holy Ghost by the baptism at the river Jordan. He was led up of
the Spirit to the wilderness. The Holy Ghost got a hold of Jesus and Jesus was going to the
wilderness. Not to have a great time but to be tempted! And who was in charge? The Holy
Ghost.

The Holy Ghost can take charge of your life. And when He takes charge it doesn’t matter
what the process is, it’s the product that counts. The Bible tells us that God changes Joseph
when they put him in that dungeon, it was God who put him in there. That’s the reason when
he was there suffering he didn’t complain. He knew it was the power of God. When he was in
the house of Potiphar, he was Mr.Houseboy yet he was charge of everything. When he was
thrown into prison he became the leader of the prisoners. When the Holy Ghost comes into
your life it’s different. We can actually run things for good. We go with blessings. When we
show up blessings start coming in. Did you know in the days of Joseph everybody despised
Joseph? And we are the ones that found out. In the days of Joseph nobody knew that Joseph
committed that offence. Everybody believed that Joseph. Everyone said “After all what our
master did for him.. ahh..” God was there. Only God and Joseph knew that he never
committed that offence. All his days they all thought he did it. There are some of you who are
here that are falsely accused that you did something. It’s only when we get to heaven we’ll
discover that you never did it. Yeah. You are the only one that knows. The woman had the
shirt of Joseph in her hand as he tried to flee from her. She was the one who tried to hold her.
Then she got the shirt and raised it up and said “Guess what this beast wanted to do to me.
After all we’ve done to him. He was trying to force me” Then they got a hold of him. Joseph
said “I didn’t! I didn’t! Let go off me. I didn’t!” They took him and put him in the prison
house. Nobody knew. Only God. Every evidence was against him. “What were you doing in
Madam’s room?” and he said “I didn’t do anything. She called me..” and they laughed at
that. “She called you?! At what time? You?Ha ha ha!!!”

Brothers and sisters, it doesn’t matter what happens to you. If you are in the will of God
rejoice because it doesn’t matter how deep they take you He’ll go down there with you. The
Bible says In their afflictions He was afflicted..” [Isaiah 63:9] Isaiah 43:2 KJV When thou
passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow
thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame
kindle upon thee.

Shadrach Meshach and Abednego were thrown into the fire. They fell down when they were
thrown! They were bound. But the bonds were burnt up and they got up. Their clothes were
still on. Their clothes were not burnt. Nebuchadnezzar said “Oi do you see what I see?” and
they said “Sir we can see what you see!” Nebuchadnezzar said “How many men did we
throw in? I thought it was three but I see four of them and the fourth one is like unto the Son
of God!”
That fourth one is still with us today. He is called the angel of His presence. When you go
through the fire he’s there and when you walk through the water he’s still there. When you
have trouble in the job he’s there and when you have trouble in your finances he’s still there.
Shout Hallelujah! He will never leave you alone. Praise His Holy name.

Volume 2: Part

ather in the name of the
Lord Jesus, we thank you
for another blessed
opportunity to hear your word and
have fellowship with the Holy
Ghost and with one another in your
presence. We thank you for the
glory of your name. Now we open our hearts and minds to receive your words with faith and
meekness and gladness in the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen! Hallelujah! Praise God!
Hallelujah! I want to read to you from 2 Timothy 2:20-21 KJV But in a great house there are
not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and
some to dishonour. (21) If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel
unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
Let me read it to you from the Amplified so that you can get it.
2 Timothy 2:20-21 AMPLIFIED “But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and
silver, but also [utensils] of wood and earthenware, and some for honourable and noble
[use] and some for menial and ignoble[use]. So whosoever cleanses himself [from what is
ignoble and unclean, who separates himself from contact with contaminating and corrupting
influences] will [then himself] be a vessel set apart and useful for honourable and noble
purposes, consecrated ad profitable to the Master, fit and ready for any good work.”
This is the house of God, we are the house of God, we belong in the house of God. There are
different kinds of vessels some to honour and some to dishonour. You don’t want any vessel
onto dishonour in your house. But the vessel can be in a place of dishonour. How can that be?
If you find a vessel that should be in a particular way and you find it some other place then
that is unto dishonour. A vessel that is not in its right place for the right use is a vessel unto
dishonour. We use buckets to fetch water. If you find a bucket of water at the centre of your
table in your living room isn’t that a vessel unto dishonour. If you found your drinking glass
in the restroom it’s a vessel unto dishonour. If you find your kettle on your bed, that will be a
vessel unto dishonour. The plastic flower vase on the gas cooker is a vessel unto dishonour.
Every vessel should be in its place and then these vessels will be vessels unto honour. In a
great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also vessels of earth and wood
and some to honour and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge – remove himself from
these he shall be a vessel unto honour. Sanctified and qualified for the master’s use prepared
unto every good work. Ready to be used.

We all want to find our lives working for the glory of God. We want to find our lives
functioning for the glory of God. Every one of us. Then you must be in the place where God
has called you. You must be in your place. First purge. Empty yourselves from the wrong
stuff and abstain from evil. Empty flush the wrong stuff off. You’ve been to the wrong place,
getting the wrong stuff, reading the wrong books get rid of the wrong stuff and get into the
right place that God has called you to be and be filled with God’s Spirit and you’ll be ready
for the masters use. Amen! That’s what is all about. God has already fashioned us to good
works, prepared us for good works and ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians
2:10 KJV For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God

hath before ordained that we should walk in them. There are things in our lives that God has
prepared us to do and we are the ones chosen to do those things. If you find yourself in God’s
will God’s got something to do in your life. You are not here by chance or by accident. You
have a purpose of living. You didn’t just get here because your father and your mother said
we want somebody. God planned for you to be here. That’s the truth. You are not trying to
make yourself believe it. That’s the truth. Maybe you never knew before. God has a purpose
for your life. There are lots of lots of people who live and die without ever knowing what
God had brought them here for. Romans 14:12 says that we shall all give an account unto
God. We will on the judgement day. How did you live your life? Did you do what God called
you to do? Someone said “I never knew what God called me to do!” You mean you were
there for nothing? That means that you were like the dead sea! Receiving and receiving and
receiving and never giving. You have to prove to God what is the good, acceptable and the
perfect will for your life. Romans 12:2 …that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Is the master working with you? Are you a vessel unto
honour? Can the master use you? Can the master work with your life? Prepare unto every
good work that’s what the Bible says. You have to be ready. You have to make yourself
ready. Get yourself in the right position. Hallelujah! One day He’ll come back and He’ll want
to know from you what you did with the life He gave you. How did you live?
Mark 16:15-16 KJV And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel
to every creature. (16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth
not shall be damned.
So you should know that dogs can’t believe and cows can’t believe and goats can’t believe
and the goldfish cannot believe! You know it right?
Go ye into all the world – that’s another way of saying go into every man’s world and
preach the Gospel.
He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
So where is your world?
There’s an outflow from you to others as you preach the Gospel. Matthew 28:18-20 And
Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
(19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of
the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have
commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

You cannot act like there is no adversary because there is an adversary. You cannot act like
the Americans who went to Vietnam to vietnamize the Vietnamese! When there is an invading
force that’s trying to destroy. You have to fight! Jesus said you cannot enter into a
strongman’s house and take his goods until you first bind the strongman. Matthew 12:29 Or
else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the
strong man? and then he will spoil his house.
And again Jesus said Matthew 11:12 the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the
violent take it by force.
Luke 21:19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

Glory to God! Go ye therefore and teach all nations. Why? Because all power is given to
Jesus in heaven and in earth.

Look at Jesus. Jesus is teaching in the Synagogue and while he’s teaching a woman comes in
she’s bowed over. She’s bent double. She’s been in that case 18 long years and Jesus is still
teaching and the woman is trying to find her seat and the Lord says “Come here”. Everybody
has known her in that case for 18 years and then she turns and goes to Jesus and she’s bend
The Fullness and the Fire

Page

double. The Lord says “Ought not this woman being a daughter of Abraham, whom satan
has bound lo this 18 years be loosed from this infirmity?” Jesus is teaching and He’s letting
them understand the life of the covenant with Abraham. If you are in that covenant, that
Abrahamic covenant you should be loosed and the folks didn’t know it. He’s teaching them.
They were all children of Abraham and they were all in the synagogue for they’ve come to be
taught one more time. Then Jesus is teaching. How did Jesus know that it was 18 years? The
word of knowledge. So she ought to be loosed because she’s a daughter of Abraham. When
you a daughter of Abraham, you ought to be loosed. Jesus then slapped at the back and she
straightened up. Great joy! Paul is preaching in Lystra and there is man impotent and never
walked from birth. The man is listening. Paul is preaching the Gospel. He turns to the man
and perceives that the man’s got faith. Believing the message as he was explaining to them
how He was wounded for your transgressions, bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of
our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed [Isaiah 53:5] The man is still on
the ground. We are healed. If we were healed by Jesus you shouldn’t be still that way. The
man is still on the floor. He can understand it but he doesn’t know what to do. That’s true! If
Jesus was wounded for my transgressions and wounded for my iniquities, then no sin should
keep me in this position now. If by his stripes I was healed, and if I was healed I shouldn’t be
in this position now. He’s thinking that way and so this man is now reasoning. He’s been
taught the Gospel and he’s listening. According to the Bible Paul didn’t even pray. Just
turned to this man and said “Sir, Get up!” The man leaped.

Jesus said Go ye therefore and teach all nations!

They say and I said they say that they are incurable. While they watch people carried away by
the hundreds every day to their graves. They come into the hospitals and they say “We can
only keep him alive for a little longer but death is certain! We can only keep him alive for
another month!” How old is he? 22 years! And you are preparing him to say Bye-Bye!? To
his family?! He’s 22. He’s not even started living. You are getting him ready to say Bye-Bye
to his family. What about the other one over there? 9 years old. So they buy him all kinds of
toys so that he can be happy on his deathbed and he’ll sleep and not wake up one day. Happy
ending! He’s nine years old. Man’s knowledge is limited. There’s nothing that man has
invented that is no death in it. Nothing. There’s nothing that man has made that has death
inside it. He builds a house and he tells that it’s capable of coming down, getting burnt. Every
time a man does something he tells, be careful of this! Be careful of the same things he made.
Teach all nations what to do. God gave you hands not just to carry things. God gave you a
mouth not to eat and curse. Go show them what to use their mouths for. We know we’ve
hands and they can change a man’s life. Joshua got filled with the Spirit when Moses laid
hands on him. Joshua was filled when Moses laid hands on him. Not in the University of
Jerusalem. Universities don’t give you wisdom, they help you find something. The
universities teach you how to learn. They don’t give you knowledge, they give you
inspiration to learn. Here Joshua’s life was changed in a moment because somebody laid
hands on him. Hallelujah! It’s wonderful. Matthew 28:20 KJV Teaching them to observe all
things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of
the world. Amen. No fear! In your life you learn not to beg. No begging. The more you beg,
the more they terrorise you. Once you start begging all the angels can do nothing because
you’ve subjected them to that condition of fear. Go to bed and tell the angels to fix them.
“There’s a noise outside.” No go ahead tell the angels and sleep. The Bible tells “He giveth
His beloved sleep!” Sleep. Wake up when you want to wake up. When you are filled with the
Holy Ghost. Before you think escape, think of winning and you handling the situation. Not
escape. Where would Samson go when the lion came or when thousand men surrounded

him? Where would David go with a lion in front of him? To where? Look at Jehoshaphat.
Where would he go? They were completely surrounded and outnumbered. The enemy is
wicked. Jehoshaphat said “Lord our eyes are upon you” Quickly he called everybody to
pray. Some were grumbling. “How can he say ‘let’s go and pray’? Let’s call Egypt for help.
Quickly call Syria” All went to the house of the Lord and everyone was fasting and praying.
They said “Our eyes are upon you. Deliverance only comes from you. You are completely
surrounded and outnumbered. We are only looking at you” When they were praying like that,
a young man who was not even a prophet began to prophecy. The Spirit of God came upon
him. He said “Hear me all Juda and thou king Jehoshaphat! You shall not need to fight in
this battle for the battle is not your battle but the Lord’s battle! Tomorrow go out against
them” God didn’t say I’ve created an escape throughout the tunnel. He said Go out against
them. Now when God said you don’t need to fight in this battle and still He says to go out
against them – that means you don’t need weapons. Jehoshaphat said “Hear me all Juda,
believe the Lord God and believe His prophets!” Then he got 20 men with good voice, nice
and ask them to sing aloud a short song. “You don’t need a breastplate, you don’t need a
helmet” they asked “Where are we supposed to stay? At the back or in the middle?”
Jehoshaphat said “No you be at the front” they said “O King live forever, do you want us to
be in the front without a helmet and a breastplate?” Jehoshaphat said “Yeah, believe the
Lord God and believe His prophets!”. So he put 20 men unarmed at the front singing
Praise the Lord for His mercy endureth forever!
That’s all. They went and as they were coming down singing, to the rest of the he said “You
know what you are going to do? You just take as many boxes and many vessels as you can!
God said we are not going to fight! So we are going to pack things back home”
Back in the camp of the enemy, God sent angels and all the angels started shaking the ground
and when they were doing that the enemies thought when they hears 20 men singing they said
“Hey we don’t know where Jehoshaphat has got an army but he’ll destroy us for there are
too many for us” and then they couldn’t understand them anymore. This is what you call
spiritual blindness. It is not only something that someone not only doesn’t know the things of
God but he just can’t see. They all started fighting themselves. They all fought themselves
and they were all dead. The whole camp was filled with dead bodies. That’s the same God
that’s with us today. He said Jeremiah 51:20 KJV Thou art my battle axe and weapons of
war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;
Can you say Amen! Hallelujah! It’s a spiritual kingdom and yet we are in a physical world
and that’s the reason why we need to get the power of God to manifest in this world. In the
realm of the spirit there is no challenge. They all know that God is the big one. Here is where
the challenges are. Here is where a woman who should be able to give birth naturally cannot
now give birth. Why? She was made to be able to give birth. Now she cannot have children.
Why? Who did it? Is that God? And some people say it’s God. If any man be in Christ he is a
new creation. What are you going to do? The anointing. The Spirit. Joel 2:25 KJV And I will
restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and
the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. I will restore. It was the locust, the
cankerworm and the caterpillar. Relax. All you need is the Spirit. The Spirit is God’s answer.
The word of God works. If any man be in Christ he is a new creation. All things are passed
away and behold all things are become new. The power of God can work on your behalf and
begin to cause changes in your life. Glory to God. If God is expecting you to go to every
man’s world that’s what it is. When you are filled with God’s Spirit you will not only speak
in tongues and feel the power but you will also bless others. You will lay hands on the sick
and they shall recover.
There are two kinds of prophets. One the seers. These ones have visions and revelations.
These were seers and then you had the prophets who were inspired to bring the word of God
The Fullness and the Fire

to the people and to lead. Not all prophets in Israel were seers but every prophet had
revelation. You would notice for some prophets like prophet Gad was a seer. He was a seer.
He didn’t run the country but he was a seer. Some of them had both together. Isaiah was a
seer and a leading prophet. They ruled over the kings. They instructed the kings. They lead
the people to war. Samuel was a seer and a leading prophet. Elijah and Elisha both ruled over
kings. Those whom you find as seers you’ll find out that they were consulted here and there
and they come up with a vision. They had a vision and a revelation but these other ones had
the word of God in their mouth and they spoke with authority and they also had with them the
Spirit of Might. When the Spirit of might was absent there they didn’t rule over them. So
here’s the point in the New Testament He has made us kings and priests unto God. We have
the words of authority to rule over and deal with circumstances.

We have the Spirit of the Lord that comes to us along with the Spirit of might so that we are
full of power. At the same time we work in the mercy of God as we intercede for others as
priests. So when you get full of God’s Spirit and you are ministering to the Lord as a priest
there is the other one you must not leave behind. There is the case where a lot of God’s
children don’t know anything about. You can have that in your life and you’ll be different.
Did you ever read about Stephen? He was so anointed. He was so full of God’s Spirit and
after he functioned in the office of a priest and went out to preach, he was arrested. They
brought him before the counsel and he stood there. The Spirit of the Lord was upon him and
his face looked like the face of an angel. They saw something on the outside. The glory of
God will be evident in your life. You have to have this working. There’s a glow from the
inside and there’s a glow from the outside!

There’s such power. Something can happen while you are just sitting in the bus. You are not
talking to anybody and you are not trying to get something done. You ought to have worked
up spiritually before you got there. Did you hear me?

The Spirit of the Lord is Lord. He’s boss. We don’t make Him do anything. We don’t try to
make Him do. Our own is to get prepared and then he’ll take over. He knows what to do but
just be ready. Can you have this every day? Yeah! And can you be ready every day? Yeah!

When they asked Peter to come and raise the young woman who had died from the dead.
What did Peter do? When he got into the room and when he saw the corpse the dead body, he
turned away. He stopped looking at it. Why? Because the more you look at the dead body the
more you are wondering “Is this really going to get up?” and then some of us even make the
mistake of touching it again and it’s so cold and you lose your faith. Peter got into the room
and saw it and turned away and started praying. He prayed first and when he had prayed and
when he knew that the unction was flowing through him, the Bible says that he turned to the
corpse and he got a hold of the lady and said “Rise up!”

Volume 2: Part 2
allelujah! Praise God! Psalms 16:11
KJV Thou wilt shew me the path of
life: in thy presence is fulness of
joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for
evermore.
You will have a beautiful encounter with the
Holy Ghost. God always works with His
word. He does always work with His word.
Never forget it. He doesn’t do anything
without His word. The Bible tells us Genesis 1:1-2 KJV In the beginning God created the
heaven and the earth. (2) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon
the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. The Spirit of
God moved upon the face of the waters. Nothing was done until God said “Let there be
light” and then onwards God was speaking and the Spirit of God was bringing the word of
God to pass. The Holy Spirit brings the word of God to pass. He acts on the word of God.
Amen! See how it’s very important to study the Bible. Always when God speaks you have to
receive His word. When you receive His word, then the Holy Spirit will act on His word and
make it good in your life and you’ll have the result.

We are talking about the fullness and the fire. How did we come about with this? As we
minister the word of God you will get to understand this and I’m convinced that the Holy
Spirit will do something special in your life. Amen! Why is it so important that we teach the
word, share the word and get to understand this? Because when we understand this then
whatever the Spirit of God will does in our lives come to abide. To stay with you. Without
the teaching of the word of God a lot of times what the Holy Spirit does in the lives of men
and women does not stay because there is no revelation. You have to understand why it
happened and how it happened and have the fellowship with the Holy Spirit thereby. Many
people who receive miracles in their lives, many people who even have some spectacular
manifestations of God’s Spirit in their lives but it doesn’t change them! Always you must let
the Holy Spirit act on the Word of God in your lives. You must receive the word because the
word of God is the foundation. Anybody can have faith. You can have faith for God to do
anything in your life. There are people who don’t know Jesus but have acted on strong faith
and tremendous things happened. But you know that kind of faith doesn’t last. It could
produce something for them but that’s as far that they could go. God is concerned that it
should last for eternity. There are people who read books on faith. There are books on faith,
books about faith that were not written by Christians. They understand faith. They say “If you
just believe in yourself you can do it. If you believe you can have it, you can have it.” Mostly
what these folks call the motivational books and financial shortcuts. That’s faith but there are
different kinds of faith. We are talking about the faith that comes by God’s word. We are
talking about faith in the name of Jesus. Faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They are not the
same. It’s not just a matter of faith but it’s a matter of faith in the word of God. Hallelujah!
It’s so important that you get to understand the word of God as you follow it and God will
give you that understanding.

Why do we say where there is a fullness of God’s Spirit there is a fire? Why do we say that?
Because we found out in the word of God that that’s the way it is. Where there is a fullness,
H
The Fullness and the Fire

Page

there is a fire. Is it possible not to have the fullness? Is it possible for someone to receive the
Holy Spirit and still not have the fullness of God’s Spirit? Emphatically yes. It is possible!
Why does He say us to be filled with the Spirit if we are always full of the Spirit? God’s
people are not always filled with the Spirit although they’ve received the Holy Spirit and
speak in tongues. He wants you to be filled with the Holy Spirit. There’s something even
more technical that I want to bring it to you that’s even more technical.

These series of meetings didn’t begin yesterday. Those who’ve been in here you’d know that
we’ve been sharing these and coming along this line and get us well propped up along the
line. When Paul prayed for the Church of Ephesians why didn’t he pray about the
unemployed people to get jobs? What about the sick? He prayed that they will be filled with
the fullness of God. Why? When there is fullness there is a fire!

Now in Ephesians 5:18 Paul said to be filled with the Spirit. If we study his prayer in the 3
rd

chapter in the 19
th
verse he says “that ye might be filled with the fullness of God” Now that is
different when saying in 5:18 be filled with the Spirit. The word translated fullness from the
Greek word pleruma is a completion in number. He’s not just talking about a quantity like
that cannot be numbered like sand, but he’s talking about something that can be numerically
quantified. He’s talking about a ship with complete cargo and crew. The full load. That ye
might be filled about all the fullness of God. This is his prayer that God will grant it to them.
This is God’s desire to everyone of us. Colossians 1:26-27 KJV Even the mystery which hath
been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: (27) To
whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the
Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
He’s talking about the revelation of the anointed one and His anointing and His anointing in
you. That’s the hope of glory. Then he says the ye might be filled with the fullness of God.
The man realises that the man came with the fullness of God. Everybody else came in a
measure and everybody else the prophets had the anointing in a measure but Jesus came with
the fullness of the Godhead. The Bible says of him. John 3:34 KJV For he whom God hath
sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. There are
so many people who believe that Jesus has the whole part of it and all of us have a part of it
and then the whole church together will have the full. That’s wrong. The Bible tells us in
Zechariah 3:9 KJV upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold
The seven eyes are the seven Spirit of God. And upon one stone shall be seven Spirits of
God. Jesus is the chief corner stone. 1 Peter 2:5 KJV Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a
spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by
Jesus Christ. Every one of us is a living stone and upon each of those stones shall be seven
eyes which are the seven Spirits of God. In other words every one of us has been called to
have the full measure of God’s Spirit. That’s why Paul is talking here. That we might be filled
with the fullness of God.

There are some people are called into different offices. They are Apostles, Prophets,
Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers. [Ephesians 4:11-16] For the perfecting of the saints and
for the edifying of the body of Christ. That’ the office. Paul said that he’s been called to
declare the whole counsel of God. Acts 20:27 KJV For I have not shunned to declare unto
you all the counsel of God. You may have a specific message that God wants you to
propagate, yet with all of that – the lesser is included in the greater. God always wants you to
have the full message that God has brought to us. That’s the reason why when people just
hold onto one revelation and say “God called me to preach divine healing..” and that’s all.
Or “God called me to preach End Time..” Something is wrong and something is missing.
The Fullness and the Fire

Page
39

You may emphasise something but that doesn’t mean that’s all you’ve got to preach. You
have to declare the whole counsel of God.

So we are talking about all the fullness of God. There are seven Spirits of God and yet there
is only one Holy Spirit. There are not seven of them. Seven actually is a number that
indicated completeness. A perfection! A fullness. Someone said “It’s God’s number!” Well I
don’t know if God’s got a number. The number 7 epics a perfection. When we talk about the
seven Spirits of God, he’s trying to let you understand something about the Holy Spirit. He
doesn’t mean that the Holy Spirit is in parts. There are no seven parts of the Holy Spirit. You
have to understand the Holy Ghost. Maybe I should say something about the Holy Ghost one
more time. The Holy Spirit is the 3
rd
person of the Godhead. He is the only one among the 3
persons of the Godhead that is manifested in different places at the same time. Doing
different things at the same time and He is everywhere at the same time. When Jesus is here
He doesn’t go to the other place and stand there at the same time. When the Father is on His
throne, He doesn’t leave there and go somewhere on His own. No. If the Father wants His
presence somewhere it’s the Holy Spirit that takes the presence of the Father to that place.
Are you hearing this? The Father is always on His throne. The Holy Spirit is the one that
takes the presence of God everywhere. He is the angel of God’s presence. He is the
messenger of God’s presence. He is the one that carries the presence of God from place to
place. He looks like Jesus. He talks like Jesus. You can’t tell Him from Jesus if you saw Him
today. Jesus said “He that has seen me has seen the Father..” In other words the Jesus looks
like the Father. Hebrews 1:3 says that Jesus is the express image of the Father – the
effulgence of His glory. If you want to know what the Father looks like, look unto Jesus. He’s
exactly what Jesus looks like. In Jesus Colossians 2:9 KJV For in him dwelleth all the
fulness of the Godhead bodily. If you ever see God, the description would be the description
of Jesus. Amen!
After Jesus was raised from the dead He was glorified. Such glory about Him that so
different. He doesn’t look like that one whom they tried to arrest and they couldn’t tell him
from Peter, they couldn’t tell him from John or James. No. He’s glorified not. There’s such
beauty about him that’s beyond description. Amen! But He still has holes in His hands
because of the nails. The Roman nails.

The Holy Spirit over here and sitting over here at the same time. He’s not a cloud or an force
field. He’s fully made manifest over there sitting and fully made manifest standing over here.
He’s walking through the aisles while sitting here and standing there and he’s complete while
walking, complete while standing and complete while sitting. He’s the same person. That’s
what it is to be God. If He couldn’t do that He wouldn’t be God. He’s God. If He’s standing
here, He’s infinite and He can walk out of here while standing here and do something else.
Never needs to turn around to look at you. This is the Holy Ghost. You can’t lock Him out.
When He comes in He just walks in.

God’s Spirit is God’s answer to every problem no matter what you are going through today,
God’s Spirit is God’s answer. If you ask God for something, He doesn’t give things. He
doesn’t give things. His Spirit is His answer. His Spirit is His presence. His Spirit is His
power. That’s God’s answer. What was the prayer of the disciples Acts 4:29-30 …grant unto
thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, (30) By stretching forth thine
hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
When did you see God stretching forth His hand from heaven to heal? Did God give them
boldness? Did God say “Alright! It’s coming. Boldness is on the way now..!” Did God shake
them up and say “Alright now you’ve got boldness over here” Did God give them something
The Fullness and the Fire

Page

to drink so that they get bold? The Bible says when they prayed that prayer they were all
filled with the Holy Ghost. Acts 4:31 KJV And when they had prayed, the place was shaken
where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they
spake the word of God with boldness.

A lot of people haven’t understood these things. The reason is they have never followed the
word of God in this direction. There’s a lot of struggle in our lives. We are trying to be bold
or trying to get healed. When the Spirit of God is at work he just takes over. How does this
work? Do we have a responsibility in this? That’s what I want to teach you.

Deuteronomy 34:7 KJV And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his
eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
One hundred and twenty years and the man didn’t wear glasses! Physically he wasn’t bent.
He was strong as ever. What about Caleb? Joshua 14:11 KJV As yet I am as strong this day
as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now,
for war, both to go out, and to come in. He was 85 at the time and said I’m still ready to go to
war and I’m as strong as I was 40 years ago. Moses started him ministry at age 80.

Now here we go. Stay with me. If you miss me here just get a pillow and start sleeping in the
Church and I will give you my permission. Deuteronomy 34:9 KJV And Joshua the son of
Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children
of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.
Joshua was full of the Spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. It doesn’t
say that Joshua was full of the Spirit. It says that he was full of the Spirit of wisdom. How
come? Why the Spirit of wisdom? This man had the Spirit of wisdom. Until Moses laid his
hands on him, Joshua didn’t have the Spirit of wisdom. Let’s find out about that. We want to
know how Moses laid hands on Joshua.
Numbers 27:18 KJV And the LORD said unto Moses, Take thee Joshua the son of Nun, a
man in whom is the spirit, and lay thine hand upon him;
That’s very striking! The Bible says about Joshua that he already had the Spirit and then God
said to Moses to lay hands on him. When Moses did Joshua received the Spirit of wisdom. So
Spirit did he have prior to that time? Let’s look at it. Now Moses is talking to God here.
Numbers 11:14-16 KJV I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy
for me. (15) And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found
favour in thy sight; and let me not see my wretchedness. (16) And the LORD said unto
Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the
elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the
congregation, that they may stand there with thee.
God never gives you people whom you don’t know and ask to work with them. whom thou
knowest to be the elders of the people. When God picks people He tells you to choose. He’ll
guide you but if you don’t know them, don’t take them. Now you understand why we grow
our pastors rather than employing.
The Fullness and the Fire

Page

Numbers 11:16-17 KJV And the
LORD said unto Moses, Gather
unto me seventy men of the elders
of Israel, whom thou knowest to be
the elders of the people, and
officers over them; and bring them
unto the tabernacle of the
congregation, that they may stand
there with thee. (17) And I will
come down and talk with thee
there: and I will take of the spirit
which is upon thee, and will put it
upon them; and they shall bear the
burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.
Now I see where Joshua got it from. And notice what God said there. He said I will take of
the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them. He didn’t say I’ll take the spirit God
said I’ll take the spirit which is upon thee. For a specific purpose. Moses was called of God to
lead the people. There are several things in the calling of Moses. This particular thing to bear
the burden of the people was a specific function. Just an area of the ministry. So that these
people can function in this area. Not in every area that God has called Moses to do. A specific
anointing. When you study further you’ll understand that what God did there was to take the
Spirit of counsel. These 70 were to listen and counsel them. Solve their problem. He didn’t
have the Spirit of wisdom until Moses laid his hands on them.

So you can see Joshua was walking in a measure of the Spirit and now he’s walking in a
greater measure because Moses had laid hands on him. This is beautiful. That just lets us
know how the Spirit of God functions.
Revelation 4:5 KJV And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices:
and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of
God.
There were 7 lamps that were burning. I told you when there is a fullness, then there is a fire.
Let me locate the 7 spirits of God. Who is the branch? Jesus!
Isaiah 11:1-3 KJV And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch
shall grow out of his roots: (2) And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of
wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the
fear of the LORD; (3) And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD:
and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

It’s quite easy for us to locate it there. If you speed read it you might miss it yet the revelation
is right there. The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him. The Sprit of the Lord is one of the
seven Spirits of God. He always rests upon. He always comes upon. That is the one that
anoints you for service! That’s the one that anoints you with power. Every time you find him
described in the Old and the New Testament He comes upon. Always He comes upon. He
rests upon. This is beautiful. The Spirit of the Lord.

The Spirit of wisdom – that’s what Joshua got. The Spirit of understanding. The Spirit of
counsel. The Spirit of might. The spirit of knowledge. The Spirit of the fear of the Lord –
talking about the reverential fear.

The Fullness and the Fire

Page
42

Let’s talk about the Spirit of the Lord. This is the one that many many Christians don’t know
anything about. In the New Testament we are supposed to have all seven Spirits of God in
His fullness. When you have the Spirit of God in fullness, tremendous things happen in your
life. Miraculous things. Your life becomes a supernatural walk with God. That’s why
everyone of us as children of God, we cannot be forsaken of God. God’s Spirit is always with
us and yet not many of us walk in the fullness. Some of us have walked with God in the Spirit
of counsel, understanding, knowledge. How many times have we become aware that all seven
are functioning in our lives? He has a two-fold ministry in us. He has a ministry inside us and
He has a ministry with or upon us.

To get that across to you let me take you back you to the Old Testament. There were 3
offices. Two were God made. One was man made but God made but man made. Let me
explain. The office of the Priest, the Prophet and the King. God never gave them a king until
they asked for one. That’s why I said man-made. But God chose for them but man actually
asked for it so it was man made. When God gave them these two important ministries, the
ministry of the Priest and the ministry of the Prophet, these were the two offices that had the
anointing of the Holy Ghost. These were the two men in all of Israel that had the Holy Ghost
upon them. They were anointed by the Spirit of God and a lot of times they had the anointing
in a measure. The Priest always will have the Spirit of the fear of the Lord, and always he had
the Spirit of knowledge. Malachi 2:7 KJV For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and
they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. The
knowledge of the word retained in the office of the priest. Plus that there was something
about him that carried the presence of God that brought fear into the people. Not that they
were afraid of God. It’s reverential fear. 1 Samuel 12:18 KJV So Samuel called unto the
LORD; and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people greatly feared the
LORD and Samuel. So they feared the Lord and Samuel. Samuel was a prophet and a priest.
Then the prophet, the prophet was the one chosen of God to lead the people. God didn’t pick
a king. The people asked God for a king. It was actually the prophet that people were
supposed to listen to. But when they said “Give us a king to lead us to war like other
nations.” God gave them a king. In the office of a prophet you had the Spirit of the Lord. The
Spirit of Lordship. That’s the spirit of dominion. That’s the Spirit that rules. Are you hearing?
He was not there to rule the people, he was there to dominate the situation. To take care of
their enemies. He came in power always. Every prophet of God had to have the Spirit of the
Lord. The prophet ruled over the king who was not subject to the word of God. Every time
the king was misbehaving the prophet came and ruled over such a king. It was the prophet
that had the last word. If the king were to war against someone and the prophet said no you
don’t the king stopped. So who was the king? The prophet was the real king! Where the word
of a king is there is power! If the words of a king had no power, he’s not a king. He’s just got
a crown. The prophet – his word was the last word. There’s something in the old testament
that I’m trying to get to you. The prophet had the Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of might, Spirit
of understanding. They had to understand the times. They had to know what people ought to
do in times. Plus that the prophet had the spirit of counsel. All this spirits as well had to be in
line of the king. So you can see there’s duality of function here because the children of Israel
didn’t understand the things of God.

The Priest The Prophet
The Spirit of fear of the Lord The Spirit of the Lord
The Spirit of knowledge The Spirit of Might
The Spirit of Understanding
The Spirit of Counsel
The Fullness and the Fire

These two offices. The priest carried the names of the children of Israel. The twelve tribes
and the names of the children. Names on his chest when he was getting dressed in his full
regalia. He always prayed and interceded for them. He always prayed to God about their sins.
To have mercy on them. While the priest is going that way full of mercy on them. He’s
sacrificing unto God because of the sins of the children. Then comes the prophet. Always
angry of the sins of the children and declares judgement. He said I come to preach the truth
and nothing but the truth! Ye have sinned against the Lord and be sure your sins shall find
you out! The priest is over there. The priest is listening too. He’s got the anointing too but he
can’t point fingers at them. He has a ministry. He has to pray to God to have mercy on the
people. God is looking at all this! And was looking forward for the New Testament. These
men had the anointing in a measure. They had the Spirit of God in a measure.

The Psalmist saw this
Psalms 85:7-10 KJV Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation. (8) I will
hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his
saints: but let them not turn again to folly. (9) Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear
him; that glory may dwell in our land. (10) Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness
and peace have kissed each other.

Here is the anointing of the Priest coming – with mercy;
Here is the anointing of the Prophet coming – with the truth of their judgement.

Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

David sees it ahead. (9) Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell
in our land. (10) Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed
each other.

Romans 5:1 KJV Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our
Lord Jesus Christ:
The peace he’s talking about is not the peace of the mind. He’s talking about peace between
two people. He’s not finished yet.
Psalms 85:11 KJV Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down
from heaven.

Every one of us now has the anointing of the King and the anointing of the king prophet. We
have it all together. Mercy and truth have met together, righteousness and peace have kissed
each other. They are at home in me now! Because the mercy of God rejoices over judgement.
That’s for the new. He wants us to function this way.

When you have the ministry of the priest functioning with each other. He’s the one that
intercedes for others, worships God.

Ephesians 5:18 KJV And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the
Spirit;
Now this is not a fullness. This is not a completeness. Because I can tell by the result. The
result only blesses you. Ephesians 5:19-21 KJV Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns
and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; (20) Giving

thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
(21) Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

This time he’s dealing with such ministries that are consistent with priesthood ministries. By
the time you have to dominate circumstances, you have to go out. Are you hearing this? This
is different from what happened to the apostles. When they prayed the place was shaken and
they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and they spake the word of God with boldness. Acts
4:31 KJV And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled
together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with
boldness.
No you are not bold when you are talking to you. Are you catching it now? We are talking
about the Spirit that is in you and the Spirit that is upon you! This one only blesses you. This
is consistent with the ministry of the priest and that’s how far a lot of God’s people have
gone. So they are enjoying themselves in that room Glory to God! And when they are done
they go and it’s all gone. There’s another one.

Ephesians 3:19 KJV And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might
be filled with all the fulness of God.
Paul says I want all seven of them functioning in your lives! All seven!

By the time the Spirit of the Lord comes in you may not be talking but you’ll be seeing
things. Life changes. You may not be singing but there is a boldness in your soul. Full of
power by the Spirit of the Lord to declare the Gospel. Someone said “Oh when you pray hard
enough then it will come!”

No! It has got nothing to with praying hard enough. It has got to do with you wanting God.
Are you hungry?
Psalms 81:10 KJV I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt:
open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
The Holy Spirit doesn’t force anybody. The question is do you want him? If you want Him,
He’ll be with you. He never goes to places where they don’t want Him. Except when He
wants to go and do His things. He’s angry at something and shows up. Unless He needs an
invitation. Have you been trying to speak in tongues and still cannot? How much do you want
him?

Someone said He’s a perfect gentleman!

That’s how He is. The Spirit of the Lord is the Spirit of dominion. When He welled up in
Paul against Elymas the sorcerer, when he challenged him Paul said “You will not see the sun
for a season” That’s different from “Please let us preach. We are only preaching.”

We prepare for Him. We don’t stir him up! He’s boss. We don’t shake anything to get Him
do something. He’s boss.

Volume 2: Part 3
zekiel 2:1-2 KJV And he said unto
me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet,
and I will speak unto thee. (2) And
the spirit entered into me when he spake
unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I
heard him that spake unto me. God’s talking
and saying “Get up! I want to talk to you!”
The Spirit of God was outside and told him
to get up. That’s another one. Then the
Spirit entered into him and set him upon his feet. He got up! He set him upon his feet. Now
let us go to the 3
rd
chapter. Now the Spirit didn’t leave Ezekiel and yet in the 12
th
verse and
the 14
th
verse. Ezekiel says “Then the Spirit took me up,..” and “So the Spirit lifted me up..”
This is the Spirit of the Lord.
Look at Philip the Evangelist in the New Testament. Acts 8:39 KJV And when they were
come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him
no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
Philip had the Holy Ghost in him but this is another function of the Holy Spirit who was
outside. The Spirit caught him away. It’s from the outside. Carried him away. That’s the
Spirit that Jesus was saying in Acts 1:8 “Ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is
come upon you.”
When you are worshiping it’s not the this power. The Spirit of the knowledge is different. 2
Corinthians 2:12 “Now we have received not the spirit of the world but the Spirit which is of
God; that we might know…” that’s the Spirit of knowledge functioning. Ephesians 1:17 KJV
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of
wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: Now that’s another one. They are all
consistent with the seven Spirits of God. He looked at that church and saw that they’ve power
– they were demonstrating the glory of God but they lost something. They didn’t have in
demonstration the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. That’s what has happened to a lot of
people. They have got the gifts of God. They can prophecy, they can have great things
happening but when it comes to understanding the word of God, they don’t understand the
word! We have to pray for them that God would grant them the Spirit of wisdom and
revelation in the knowledge of God. In the Corinthian church it was something else. They
lacked something. The Spirit of the fear of the Lord. When you have the Spirit if the fear of
the Lord there are things that you wouldn’t just do. Reverence. When He walks in, He does
something big and everybody all of a sudden be quiet. When Samuel prayed, God sent
thunder and lightning and everybody feared the Lord and Samuel. You talk about the Spirit of
the fear of the Lord, watch out. When ananias and sapphire misbehaved, they were knocked
dead and there was great fear. He insists that you must have reverence. There are people who
just walk into church anyhow. They are looking for some seat while the message is going on.
There’s no reverence. As though you just own the whole place. Be careful. There’s a Spirit in
this place and they don’t understand. I’ve seen people knocked down under the anointing of
God’s Spirit. I remember several years ago as I was ministering and I lay hands on people
and there are these guys who were helping to hold them because we were in the field and it
was night time and cold. So these ushers were holding the people falling down from the back.
These folks you know like hold them in a gentleman style not wanting their clothes to be
stained. I don’t know special ushers – I don’t know who chose them to do that. I was
E

watching this thing. I didn’t say anything. Few days later I went fasting and praying. By the
time after you fast and pray something happens. Some of you don’t believe in fasting. I do.
So well I went fasting and praying only for 3 days. Then I came back to the meeting and then
by the time I was laying hands on the people these ushers again doing the same thing. So I
laid my hand on the first one and the usher that touched him went with him. The next usher
came and he went along. Then the other guy stepped back. Nobody! I mean it was free-fall.
Everybody went whoops! Whoops! Whoops! And nobody wanted to hold anybody. You
understand what I’m talking about. There’s a time when the Spirit of God comes to a place
and He insists on reverence. Reverence!

1 Corinthians 4:20 KJV For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
People just read the Bible and teach, teach teach! – preach, preach and preach! Sing, sing
sing! All the quiet calm.

We preach – we sing – we pray – we go!
We preach – we sing – we pray – we go!
We preach – we sing – we pray – we go!

Boy! Get some power in your church. There’s nothing as deadening as a man who is
preaching power without power. Preaching divine healing with no healings in the church!

What did Paul say? 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 KJV (4) And my speech and my preaching was not
with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: (5)
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

You have to know the anointing. That anointing is different. When that anointing takes place
people try to explain it in many different ways. But you’ve got to know the Spirit. It’s not just
the gift in manifestation. No!

I was preaching and that was about the first few times I began to observe these thing. Things
that happen to you in the Spirit sometimes you don’t know until you study the word of God
and then they keep happening consistently. I always wait for that anointing to hit and when it
does I know than anybody else that something is going on right now. Sometimes when I’m
praying alone and I can know that the Spirit of the Lord just entered into me. I can tell that
something has happened. I can tell my hands – it’s like His own hands have gone in and His
own legs have gone in and I can tell that I’m not just moving but someone is moving in me. I
can tell. I can tell that He wants to lay hands through me. I was preaching in 1986 and I felt
this. There was crippled guy waiting in front and His crutches behind and ten minutes. I was
suddenly full of the Spirit. I wasn’t planning to or not even thinking about it. I said Walk in
Jesus’ name! and the guy started walking and of course everybody was shouting and
jumping. Then we had more of that that day. That’s when the Spirit of the Lord takes over.
You don’t think it. You don’t reason what am I going to do now? Again another time I was
preaching and a strong wind was blowing and a rain was about to come in. The place was
dusty and sandy and the wind was raising up dust and bringing up it on the people. Everyone
wanted to run away. I was grieved in my spirit. I was thinking and people started to get away.
I’m preaching and preaching and my jacket is flying in the wind. Some are trying to listen
and some are going. Suddenly that unction came. I didn’t know what I said. I heard it on the
tape later. I uttered some words I didn’t know what I said. I commanded the wind but I can
only remember the people clapping. I only saw the dust move and turn the other way. That’s
the Spirit of the Lord. You don’t have to think nothing. When He caught away Philip, Philip

didn’t think about it. He didn’t know. He was not talking faith but the Spirit just caught him
away. The Bible says that if you are a vessel prepared, you’ll be ready and fit for the master’s
use. He wants you to be ready. He wants you to be sanctified and separated. Just because you
have the Holy Ghost doesn’t mean that God’s going to do anything with you. Are you
hearing? Everybody is getting quiet now. You wanted to hear No matter how you behave
God’s going to take you out. That’s the Spirit of the Lord.

Some of you need the Spirit of Counsel. What does He do? He guides you. Psalms 16:7 KJV
I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night
seasons.
That’s the Spirit that God guides you in your life.

Acts 16:6 KJV Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and
were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia,
Acts 16:7 KJV After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the
Spirit suffered them not.

The Spirit of counsel. You can look at the 11
th
chapter. Acts 11:11-12 KJV And, behold,
immediately there were three men already come unto the house where I was, sent from
Caesarea unto me. (12) And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover
these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house:

Has the Spirit ever instructed for you to do something? Has the Spirit ever given you advice?
Are you acquainted with the Spirit of counsel? Or are you always wanting advice from
people. Do you have the Spirit of counsel? Have you ever let him do anything in your life?
Let the Spirit of counsel function in you. He’ll talk to you and instruct you! Were you driving
to go somewhere and all of a sudden without knowing you turned somewhere and changed
your route and just found out that there was an accident? May be you were walking and all of
a sudden you just walked into a shop and went in not knowing the purpose and there was a
shooting outside few minutes later?
He can direct you in your life. When these seven Spirits of God are functioning in your life,
no confusion. Never. You are balanced. You are full of the word because the spirit of wisdom
and knowledge. Revelation knowledge. The eyes of your understanding be enlightened.
Ephesians 3:16-19 KJV That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be
strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; (17) That Christ may dwell in your
hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, (18) May be able to comprehend
with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; (19) And to know the
love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

God wants to do something in your life. He wants to. It’s not right for you to be walking in a
measure. You’ll be losing. Is there room for Him in your life. Is there any space for the Holy
Spirit in your heart? Or have you filled all your heart with the wrong stuff? Is there room for
him? Do you still have a place in your life for the Holy Spirit? Are you sure?
Luke 4:18 KJV The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the
gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the
captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
That’s the spirit that helps you with power to do things. Tonight that Spirit is functioning
here. You can be a pastor, you’ve got to have the Spirit of the Lord anoint you. That unction
has to be there. Otherwise it’ll be empty.

Remember the Spirit of God is a person. He’s not a thing. He’s not a force field or a cloud or
a gas. Don’t think like that. All you may have left may be one of the seven Spirits of God in
your life. Just to be there to make sure that you get to heaven. Do you know that? For some
people that’s all they’ve got left. The Spirit of God and His full manifestation is working all
over the world. He’s always working and always doing something. You can find a Christian
who’s just there. He reads the Bible and prays. How does he pray “Dear Lord, I thank you
for today, tomorrow and yesterday! Bless my family. Bless the whole world and the
government!” and for some add another part they say “Plus God minus devil” Some pray
todays prayer for the week because they are so busy. “I’m going to pray for the whole week.
Lord for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday!” then they
go again.

We require God’s guidance every day. Yesterday’s guidance will not suffice for today. We
have to have a relationship with Him today in the now of our lives. Today we walk in Him
today. If you would let Him take charge of your day.

“Father in the name of the Lord Jesus, I understand from the word of God that you are in
charge of my circumstances and I let you. Lord I pray that you are the Lord of my life and
you alter my steps today in the
course that you’ve planned for me
today. I want to meet only the
people that you planned for me to
meet and I want to hear only the
things you planned for me to head
and say the things you planned for
me to say and I function as a child
of God in the anointing of the Holy
Ghost! I walk in the light in the
name of Lord Jesus. There’s
nobody coming into my world as
an accident. The Spirit of dominion
is at work in me today. In the name of Jesus, I refuse to fear. O thank you Lord Jesus, though
I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I fear no evil for thou art with me. Thy rod
and thy staff they comfort me. I refuse to be defeated because I’m a victor in Christ Jesus. I
can do all things through the anointing which strengtheneth me. I’m more than a conqueror.
O your presence is here today. I have a spirit of excellence in me. Father I thank you. The
Spirit of excellence is working in me. I don’t act foolishly, I don’t talk foolishly and no one’s
going to hear me say a word that is foolish. The wisdom of God is found in my mouth today.
I’m counselled by the Holy Spirit today. I walk with men and women by the Spirit today and I
see with the eyes of God today in the name of Jesus. O Lord God I thank you for good things
are coming in my way today and I receive in the name of Jesus and I’m a giver and I’m a
blessing today. My body is yielded today and every fibre of my being and every bone of my
body is for the Holy Ghost. Talk through me, move through me and walk in me in the name of
Jesus I’m a living tabernacle today. Hallelujah! The health of God is in me. I refuse to let my
body be subject to disease and sickness or any infirmity. Every fibre of my being is inundated
by the Spirit of God and I am in health in the name of Jesus. Glory to God! Hallelujah! I
study the word of God today and I understand and the spirit of understanding is working in
me. I can see the word I can understand the word and I can hear the word. My mouth cannot
be shut and so I can speak boldly in the name of Jesus. I receive the revelations of the word.

The world is waiting for me. World I come in the
name of Jesus. The nations are waiting and I’m
coming in the name of Jesus. I’m commissioned
of God and I’ve got a message and they’ll hear
it. Hallelujah! In the name of Jesus I thank you
Father my children they cannot but do the will of
God. They cannot but live in the word of God in
the name of Jesus. No devil hatched out of hell
can touch them. I thank you Father. Lord I’m so
blessed and I’m such a man. I don’t know how to
say this but you’ve so blessed me that I’m
embarrassed! You said you’ll bless me and you
said that you’ve blessed me already and I looked
in the word and I found out that you have blessed
me and I looked at my life and I found that
you’ve blessed me. Everybody that comes into my world is blessed. Glory to God I’m blessed.
My Lord the power of the Holy Ghost is all over me the unction is all over me. Glory to God!
Hallelujah!”

That’s how I pray. I’m full of the Holy Ghost! Hallelujah! Wave your hand and thank Him.
Be filled with the Spirit for He hath made us kings and priests. Hallelujah! The fire of God is
burning in your heart tonight. Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Something is happening in your
spirit. Speak in other tongues. They were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak in
tongues. The joy of the Lord is your strength. Then was our mouths filled with laughter and
our tongue with singing. Praise God! Thou hast given me the victory!

When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than we first begun

Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah
Amen!
Praise God! Praise God!

The Holy Spirit is willing to come to your heart. Invite him. Yield to Him. Today it’s your
day. Be filled with the Holy Spirit. Just worship Him. Forget about everybody and everything
around you. It’s you and Him. His precious Holy Spirit. Praise God.

Psalms 150:1-6 GNB Praise the LORD! Praise God in his Temple! Praise his strength in
heaven! (2) Praise him for the mighty things he has done. Praise his supreme greatness. (3)
Praise him with trumpets. Praise him with harps and lyres. (4) Praise him with drums and
dancing. Praise him with harps and flutes. (5) Praise him with cymbals. Praise him with
loud cymbals. (6) Praise the LORD, all living creatures! Praise the LORD!

The power of the Holy Ghost. From the bottom of your heart and with all your being. Release
yourself and yield to Him. You’ve received Him. Amen! Hallelujah! Be filled with God’s
Spirit. There’s no distance and time in the Spirit. Ask and receive the Holy Spirit.

The Spirit of God is working and He’s touching you. Right there where you are He’s
touching you. Be filled with God’s Spirit. Be filled today. God’s Spirit. In the name of Jesus
receive Him. Can’t you hear the voice of God’s Spirit telling you Come! Don’t say no and
don’t harden your heart. Tell him to fill you now. “Spirit of the Living God, fill me now!”
Just tell him to fill you now. For God’s Spirit is God’s answer and He’s filling you now. Be
filled with God’s Spirit. Pour out your heart and speak in other tongues as He gives you the
utterance.

Jesus O Jesus Come and fill your lamb
Jesus O Jesus come and fill your lamb

O let the son of God enfold you,
With His spirit and His love
Let Him fill your heart and satisfy your soul
O let Him have the things that hold you
And His spirit like a dove
Will descend upon your life and make you whole.

Jesus O Jesus Come and fill your lamb
Jesus O Jesus come and fill your lamb
Lift your hands toward heaven. Thank Him pour out your heart. The power of the Lord is
here. Go ahead and thank Him.
