November 2014 Whats the point if no-one knows about your research?: Embedding
dissemination in research design.
We have gathered a group of active researchers who use different disseminations
methods to reflect on and share their experiences. We are covering use of social media,
the media more generally, traditional methods and among our contributors are Prof
Paul MacHarg from ANU and Duncan OLeary, Research Director of Demos, the Think
December 2014 Our annual Showcasing event on the LERN-funded research
projects 2013-14, preceded by a short Workshop on Effective Interviewing and
followed by a Reception.

LERN is supported by both the SLS, HEA and ALT, with strong support from the Law Publishers Association.

For those who would like to gain confidence and refresh their skills in collecting and
interpreting statistical data for legal education research, or those who are approaching
quantitative data collection for the first time as well as those that shy away from
statistical data, this workshop has been designed provide practical support within a
relaxed environment.
The workshop will be led by Louise Taylor (Nottingham Trent University), and there will
be plenty of opportunity for group discussion in a supportive environment, so bring along
your research ideas and proposals.
