Product Brief
EPC104B Outdoor EOC Master based on Qualcomm Atheros AR7410 chipset
solution is used as a master device in the EOC system with Cable TV and IP
data access function. It has 4 EOC modules which mix IP data and Cable TV
signal to the Cable TV distribution network. EPC104B also have a SFP cage,
can plug SFP module (1 in 1 out) to connect with optical Ethernet network.

EPC104B is on the top position of an EOC network topology. It can be installed
on the output lines of optical nodes in the HFC network or on the user
distribution input lines to support the voice, video and other data services.

EPC104B supports different management entry. WEB, SNMP and Telnet are
supported in EPC104 for management. EPC104 is able to manage all of the
connected slaves with multiple configurations. Examples include Quality of
Service setting, security setting, performance statistics, status query and
software upgrade.

To reduce the interference between EOC and CATV, EPC104 takes over the
frequency band less than 65MHZ which does not conflict with the existing
CATV frequency band. It can be used in Tree Network or Ring Network with
some of good characters such as long distance transmission, wide bandwidth
and high suitability. It completely satisfies the requirements in HDTV, SDTV
and other digital multimedia file sharing and data applications.
