I do believe the caricature I made of Mr. Beal his attorney seems to think has harmed the image of Beal
Bank is protected by my First Amendment right to FREEDOM OF SPEECH. When I checked this morning
it had been viewed only 60 times. I doubt very much that any of these 60 viewers were customers or
potential customers of Beal Bank.
However, I have no choice but to cower into Mr. Beals demands as Im a financially poor disabled
Grandmother unable to withstand a legal onslaught by a powerful multi-billionaire like Mr. Beal.
Although I didnt create the caricature of Mr. Beal imposed on a King card, I feel it is fitting. (NOTE: Im
just stating my personal opinion here and nothing more.) Mr. Beals money does appear to make him
a King, and his demands most certainly must be met by the likes of me without regard to the freedom
of speech protection under our First Amendment to the United States Constitution.
The letter I received from Mr. Beals attorney yesterday afternoon is attached. When I complete my
written response to it as demanded I will upload this as well. The following definition of bullying is
provided by Wikipedia, I will not express my conclusion about whether I believe Mr. Beal to be a bully;
readers you can make up your own minds.
It seems curious how Mr. Beal could possibly come to believe that such a caricature of him viewed only
60 times after being online for two months could possibly harm his bank. Ive read that Mr. Beal is
some kind of mathematical genius, but how he could arrive at such a conclusion is beyond my grasp. Is
the reputation of Beal Bank that fragile?
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bullying is the use of force, threat, or coercion to abuse, intimidate, or aggressively dominate others.
The behavior is often repeated and habitual. One essential prerequisite is the perception, by the bully
or by others, of an imbalance of social or physical power. Behaviors used to assert such domination can
include verbal harassment or threat, physical assault or coercion, and such acts may be directed
repeatedly towards particular targets. Justifications and rationalizations for such behavior sometimes
include differences of social class, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, appearance, behavior,
body language, personality, reputation, lineage, strength, size or ability.

RE: Response to your letter dated November 14, 2014 about caricature of Mr. Beal
Dear Mr. Heptig,
I received your letter the afternoon of November 17, 2014. Im sorry your client, who is after all a public figure,
was offended by the caricature I made of him. I do believe that this caricature and my statements are protected by
our Constitutional right to freedom of speech under the First Amendment to our Constitution. Please see Hustler
Magazine, Inc. v. Falwell, 485 U.S. 46 (1988), New York Times Co. v. Sullivan 376 U.S. 254 (1964), New York
Times Co. v. United States 403 u.s. 713 (1971), Falwell v. Flynt, 797 F. 2d 1270 - Court of Appeals, 4th Circuit
1986, Curtis Publishing Company v. Butts, 388 U.S. 130, 87 S.Ct. 1975, 18 L.Ed.2d 1094 (1967)
Although you claim in your letter that I have posted content on that contains FALSE and
DEFAMATORY statements against Beal Bank and its affiliates, officers, and employees (collectively, the Beal
Entities) you only point out the graphic cartoon caricature of Mr. Beal in great detail. This graphic has been
removed even though it is protected expression under our First Amendment rights to freedom of speech.
I feel I have no choice but to comply with your demands at this time due to what I already know through my own
experiences and through the experiences of other Beal victims about Mr. Beals propensity to use his financial
prowess to abuse the judicial system and legally and financially squash his opponents.
In your letter you also reference a posting I made on the HISAdvocates website where you quote me as having
written it is certain [a judge] accepted a bribe from Beal. I do not recall writing such a statement and in fact
when I went to the link provided in your letter the statement was not there, nor had I written anything remotely
close to it. I have attached a screen shot of this posting for you to review.
You can see that the post is dated August 25, 2014. The link I provide in the post is to court documents and a
personal story written by the Breitling family with court documents. I could not find the statement you claim I
wrote in their document either. Since I never made the statement you claim I made it could not have been made
with any intent, malicious or otherwise, to harm the Beal Entities.
The majority of the materials I post on Scribd are court documents, published articles and commentary by reputable
sources and material from government agencies. Several of the Beal victims were feeling beaten-up by Beal and
asked me to create something to post online that would portray him as the bully they feel he is. Now they want to
write their own stories for me to post explaining their personal experiences with Mr. Beal and his Beal Entities
and why they feel Mr. Beal has bullied them.
The graphical caricature of Mr. Beal that you referenced in your letter was viewed only 60 times during the two
months it was online. I doubt that any of the 60 people viewing it were customers or potential customers of Beal
Bank or the other Beal Entities. Id be willing to bet most of those 60 views were by Beal victims. I never
promoted the caricature nor had I provided any key words to optimize it for the search engines. In fact, some of the
Beal victims did Google and Yahoo searches and could not locate the caricature of Mr. Beal through any
combination of keywords. This makes us wonder how this graphical caricature of Mr. Beal came to your attention
in the first place.
I find it very hard to believe that a man who is as intelligent as Mr. Beal is portrayed to be could possibly believe
this minimal online exposure has caused any actual harm to his reputation or that of Beal Bank, or the other Beal
Entities. I cannot comprehend how someone who is purported to be a mathematical genius could even remotely
imagine that this could be true.

I find it odd that Mr. Beal and/or the Beal Entities would make such grossly over stated claims about false and
defamatory statements in a letter written by an attorney with the clear intent to legally intimidate me. I consider
this a bullying action; and I think many other people would feel the same way.
I suggest that if Mr. Beal doesnt like being called a bully, or graphically being portrayed as a bully that he stops
acting like a bully.
The line between confidence and arrogance is very fine.... the line between arrogance and stupidity even finer.
Michael Scott, The Sorceress.
Many of Mr. Beals actions over the years appear to be demonstrations of extreme arrogance. Maybe the people in
Mr. Beals close circle are afraid to point this out to him, or maybe they have and he refuses to listen; but his
arrogance will be his undoing. Your letter legally threatening me on his behalf is an example of his arrogance. He
couldnt resist an attempt to control me with intimidation. Now the caricature of Bully Beal and JoAnn Breitling
that had been viewed only 60 times in two months has been replaced with an explanation about why it was replaced
that includes your letter. In less than 6 hours its been viewed 154 times and every time I check it has increased by
at least a dozen views.
When a person like Mr. Beal becomes so engrossed in the acquisition of wealth that he loses touch with his own
humanity and can no longer empathize with the circumstances of the common man; and he in fact becomes the
cause of their suffering then he is in danger of bringing about his own ruin because he has exponentially increased
the probability that he will underestimate the power of the human heart.
All mathematicians and software engineers know that the human element introduces unpredictability and increases
the risk of an unplanned and potentially disastrous result. Ignoring the human element, and worse yet, having no
compassion for or understanding of those qualities that make us human divorces one from reality and all the things
you thought you knew become things you dont know you dont know.
Ive read about Mr. Beals gambling excursions and the millions he wastes on such frivolous pursuits. My heart
breaks when I think about how many families have been made homeless and how much suffering he has caused so
he can recklessly throw away those millions. Mr. Beal has been given the potential to become an instrument for
positive change in the world. Instead he has chosen to cause others pain and suffering. Something is very wrong
inside his soul.
"For everyone to whom much is given, of him shall much be required; and of him to whom men entrust much, they
will require and demand all the more." Luke 12:48
Redemption is always a possibility. It requires a change of heart, a change of ways, a willingness to acknowledge
the harm youve caused others and a willingness to make restitution. Continuing to threaten and intimidate people
like me will not open the door to redemption and forgiveness; and it may cause Mr. Beal to experience some very
unpleasant consequences of his own making.
