Installation Guide

When servicing any vehicle be sure to follow all safety procedures. First, make sure that when lifting the vehicle that you are using the appropriate jack for the weight of the vehicle. Make sure before going underneath any vehicle that it is properly supported with sturdy jack stands and on level ground so that the vehicle doesn’t fall or slide off of the jack and onto you. As with any automotive repair, make sure you have the appropriate tools to do the job so you don’t damage any parts on the vehicle. There is a list of tools needed included in these instructions. Safety glasses and mechanic gloves should also be worn for your protection. Be sure to follow the instructions in the order that they are given. The instructions are in a certain order for a reason and improper installation could lead to damage to your vehicle or the parts. Keep in mind that if you damage the parts during installation you will be responsible for the replacement parts. Take precaution not to exceed the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), or the maximum load recommended by the manufacturer. It is important that all vehicle's Owner Manuals recommendations are followed for your own safety and to prevent damage to the vehicle. Once you are ready to disable the ride light, you will need to disconnect the ground battery cable (-) to prevent electrical shock/malfunction. Read instructions before attempting installation, if you have problems during the install then feel free to call our Technical Support Line. Please have your invoice handy before call for technical help.

Front Removal Instructions
1. Disconnect plug connectors for the left and right front suspension strut motion sensors. (B22/4, B22/5) (See Figure #1) 2. Unscrew nuts (40c). (See Figure #1) 3. Remove front wheels. 4. Open bleed screws (56) and depressurize suspension struts (40). (See Figure #1) 5. Unscrew nut (40d). (See Figure #1) 6. Undo the quick-release coupling (40b) on hydraulic line. NOTE: Remove cap. • Ensure that no dirt enters the open quick-release coupling. • Installation: Ensure that the quick-release fitting is fully engaged. (See Figure #1) 7. Unscrew bolt (40a). Caution: Ensure that the bolts (40a) are seated at least flush with the spring nut (40) or slightly recessed in it. (See Figure #1) 8. Push down the spring link, undo suspension strut (40) from ball joint and remove downwards. Caution: Lift spring link with the transmission jack while pushing the ball joint pin firmly into the cone in the spring strut. (See Figure #1) 9. Plug hydraulic lines with supplied cap. 10. Fill system. Fig. 1

Front Sensor Instructions
1. Strut sensors unbolt from the strut with a small allen wrench on the top and the bottom. 2. You may have to remove a rubber insert to get the bolts. 3. Unbolt from the strut and tie back out of the way of any moving parts.

Front Conversion Installation Instructions
1. Line up the bolts on the head of strut into place. (See Figure #1)

2. Jack lower control arm into place, reconnecting the strut to the ball joint in the control arm. (See Figure #2)

3. Be sure not to over tighten the set screws, however, they should be snug. (See Figure #3)

4. Bolt lower control arm back into place and bolt up the sway bar arm. (See Figure #4)

5. Do this for both sides and then replace the tires back on the car and set the car back on the ground/floor before tightening head bolts.

Rear Removal Instructions
1. Remove cover (41e) and cut open the foam insert underneath. (See Figure #1) 2. Disconnect plug connectors for the left and the right rear suspension strut motion sensors (B22/1, B22/6) (See Figure #1) 3. Unscrew nuts (41f, g) (See Figure #1) 4. Remove the rear wheels. 5. Open bleed screws (57) and depressurize suspension struts (41). (See Figure #1) 6. Undo quick-release coupling (41a) on hydraulic line. (See Figure #1) 7. Remove fixed caliper with the brake pads on rear axle. (See Figure #1) NOTE: Leave brake hose connected. Caution: Suspend the fixed caliper with a hook to relieve the strain on the brake hose. 8. Remove the cover under the spring link (72). (See Figure #1) 9. Undo bolted connection (41c, 41d) between suspension strut (41). (See Figure #1) 10. Press spring link (72) downwards and remove suspension strut (41). (See Figure #1) 11. Plug hydraulic lines with supplied caps. (See Figure #1) 12. Fill system. Fig. 1

Rear Conversion Installation Instructions
1. Line up the head for the top tower and bolt head in the car loosely. (See Figures #1 - 2) Fig. 1 Fig. 2

2. You will need to pull down on the lower control arm so that the strut lines up straight. (See Figure # 3)

3. Install lower strut mount to the control arm and use a floor jack to raise the lower control arm. (See Figure #4)

4. Bolt the sway bar and wheel assembly back to the lower control arm. If applicable not all cars will have a rear sway bar. 5. Repeat steps 1 – 4 for the opposite side.
6. Put the tires back on the car.
