Bismillaahir Rahmaan nir Raheem
In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful

What is Faith (Iman)?
Faith is to have belief in something and to
proclaim it.

To a Muslim, faith means firm belief in
Allah (SWT) and the teaching of the
prophet Muhammad (SAW).





Abbreviations

SWT: Subhanahu Wa Taala

SAW: Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam

Kalimah One
Kalimah Tayibah,
Laa-ilaaha, illallaahu,
Muhammadur,
Rasoolullaah.

Meaning:
There is no god except Allah;
Muhammad Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam, is
the Prophet of Allah (SWT).

Kalimah Two
Kalimah Shahadah,
Ash-hadu Allaa-ilaaha, illallaahu
Wahdahoo,
Laa Shareeka-lahoo,
Wa Ashhadu Anna,
Muhammadan,
Abduhoo,
Wa Rasooluh.

Meaning:
I testify that there is no god,
except Allah (SWT).
He is alone, He has no partner and
I also testify that Prophet Muhammad
Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam, is

His worshipper and His prophet.




Kalimah Three
Kalimah Tawheed,
Laa-ilaaha, illaa Anta,
Waahidal, Laa Saaniya laka,
Muhammadur,
Rasoolullaahi,
Imaamul Muttaqeena,
Rasoolu,
Rabbil Aalameen.

Kalimah Tamjeed,
Laa-ilaaha, illaa Anta,
Nooray Yahdi Yallaahu,
Linoorihi,
May-yashaau,
Muhammadur,
Rasoolullaahi,
Imaamul Mursaleena,

Iman Mujmal
Aamantu Billaahi, Kamaa huwa,
Bi-Asmaaihi,
Wa Sifaatihi,
Wa Qabiltu Jameea,
Ahkaamihi,
Wa Arkaanih.

Meaning:
I believe in Allah (SWT), as He is with all His
Names and Attributes and I accept all His
Commands.

Iman Mufassal
Aamantu Billaahi,
Wa Malaa-ikatihi,
Wa Kutubihi,
Wa Rusulihi,
Wal Yaumil Aa-khiri,
Wal Qadri,
Khairihi,
Wa Sharrihi,
Minallaahi Ta-Aala,
Wal Basi, Badal Mawt.

Meaning:
I believe in Allah (SWT),
In His Angels, In His Books,
In His Messengers,

In the last day (the day judgement),
In the fact that everything good and bad is
from Allah (SWT) the Almighty,
and in the life after death.

Dua for Commencing Prayer (Tawjeeh)
Inni Waj Jahtu,
Waj Hiya Lil-lazi,
Fataras Samaawaati,
Wal Arda, Haneefah,
Wamaa Ana, Minal Mushrikeen.

Subhaanaka Allaahumma,
Wa bi Hamdika,
Wa Tabaara kasmuka,
Wa Ta-Aala Jadduka,
Wa Laa-ilaaha, Ghairuk.

Attahiyyaatu Lillaahi,
Wassalaawaatu,
Wattayyibaatu,
Assalaamu Alaika,
Ayyuhan Nabiyyu,
Warahmatullaahi Wabarakaatuho,
Assalaamu Alainaa,
Wa Alaa ibaadillaahis Saaliheen.
Ash hadu Allaa-ilaaha, illallaahu-
Wa Ash-hadu Anna,
