Notas breves

Por qu publicar en revistas cientficas indizadas y
de alto impacto?

Una revista indizada, es una publicacin que ha pasado por
un riguroso proceso de seleccin y anlisis por parte de
instituciones y empresas documentales tomando en cuenta
ciertos criterios, como son: a) Calidad del contenido de la
investigacin, b) Caractersticas tcnicas o formales, c) Uso
por parte de la comunidad cientfica (impacto).

Publicar en una revista indizada
- Otorga mayor visibilidad al autor y a su institucin afiliada
- Estimula la localizacin de pares en otras partes del mundo
- Facilita el intercambio de informacin y con ello un mayor desarrollo del campo
cientfico nacional.

La evaluacin del rendimiento cientfico de una persona, institucin o pas se articula en
torno a la produccin cientfica publicada en revistas que ocupen posiciones relevantes
en los mas importantes ndices del mundo
