Overview
Why Choose Genuine Ty-Rap® Cable Ties?
Oval, Low Profile Head

“The Grip of Steel®” Non-Magnetic
Stainless Steel Locking Device insures
both maximum strength and the right tightness
every time. Because there are no notches,
Ty-Rap Cable Ties provide an infinite number
of locking positions while fastening the tie
at the precise bundle diameter needed.

The Turned-up Tail orients the tie
for easy assembly, making the ties
easier to pick up on a flat surface.

Versatile Nylon 6.6 Material provides
high strength, a wide temperature range
and prevents toxic or irritating emissions.
Ty-Rap Cable Ties are also available in
weather-resistant versions, heat-stabilized,
flame-retardant, polypropylene, nylon 12, hook
and loop, fluoropolymer, and stainless steel
materials for a variety of extreme environments.

No-Slip Tail provides easy grip during
tensioning. Ty-Rap cable ties feature a
unique friction surface designed to
reduce slippage during installation.

Cable Fastening Systems

gives a professional, quality look to
wire bundling projects. The classicshaped head is designed to prevent
snags on uneven surfaces and
easier to pull through bulkheads.
There are no sharp edges, so
these ties are also easier on
the installer’s hands.

When you choose a cable tie from T&B,
you can count on quality, performance
and innovation to make your work easier.
Depending on your application, choose
genuine Ty-Rap Cable ties, along with our
wide assortment of quality accessories
and installing tools to make installation
hassle-free.

Smooth, Notchless Body reduces
stress concentration points under
tension, making the tie stronger and
lower profile than notched body ties.

Ribbed and Stippled Body
“grips” the bundle and prevents
slippage. Rounded edges protect
insulation, preventing sharp
edges from damaging cables.

For a whole bundle
of reasons, trust
only Genuine

Ty-Rap Cable Ties
by Thomas & Betts
in your next wiring

Cable Fastening Systems

Designed primarily for P.I.C. and station cable binder marking,
these self-locking ties install without tools in less than 10 seconds.
Compared to an installation time of 30–60 seconds using the twistedwire method, the time saving is substantial. High-contrast color stripes
extend to end of tail for instant, permanent identification of binder.

For use in temperatures ranging from -40° F to 185° F (-40° C to 85° C).
