Profile

I am born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. I have been working as technical support and head of
support in a start-up company called bloglovin for 3 years. I loved the environment and the tech
industry. When the company grew, my workload increased and the tasks became more advanced. I
realized that I wanted to learn more and be a part of the core team and not just a support person. That is
the reason I wanted to learn how to code.
I do volunteer work for a non-profit organisation where I help out with the organisations webpage,
help out with campaigns, train new volunteers as well as offer support through email and chat.
My dream is to be a junior developer. I am looking forward to working in a team and being able to
develop my skills further. I am up for working in a start-up company as well as a well established
company as long as I am passionate about the companys cause and I get the right guidance and support
from the team.

Experience

General Assembly, Web Development Immersive course - 2014

Web Development Immersive course. 12 weeks full-time course which, among other topics, covered
Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, AngularJS and JQuery. One of my projects was a tic-
tac-toe game built in Ruby on Rails where you can play against the computer. My final project was an
Apartment locating application built in Ruby on Rails which uses the Zoopla Api and Google Maps
Api. The idea with the application was to create a page where you can find available apartments in a set
area as well as finding members with similar interests to you that you can share a flat with.

bloglovin, Head of Support - Sept 2009 June 2014

Troubleshooting to see where bugs are and if I am not able to sort it out I reported the bug to our
developers. Troubleshooting RSS-feeds, the web pages, user-accounts and all of our functions. I was
responsible for looking over content that has been reported as inappropriate and respond to all queries
our users might have. Made sure everything in the support ran smoothly. When the support was quiet I
only worked a few hours per day but if there were any bugs or issues with the website I would work
until we had it under control. When I joined the team, bloglovin had about 200 000 unique monthly
visitors, when I left they just reached 20 million unique monthly visitors.

Freningen Storasyster, IT-manager & volunteer - May 2013 current

Freningen Storasyster (Big Sister Association) is a non-profit organisation that offer support and

technical issues.
Also, a few nights per month, I am chatting, listening and offering support to those who contact us for
support and help.

Uncorked Wines, sales assistant and webpage creator - Jan 2012 May 2012

Wine store in Melbourne, Australia. Worked in the cash-register, helped customers with wine selections
and also built a wordpress webpage for the company. Helped set up an online-store to ship wines
abroad and managed the shop orders.

Red Cross Youth, Volunteer - March 2011 Dec 2011

Worked on-call a few evenings per month in 4 hour shifts. Worked through chat and phone where
teenagers and children could call or write when they needed support, consultation or just somebody
who listens to them.

Telia Sweden, Technical Support - March 2011 Nov 2011

Interests

I love traveling, experiencing new cultures and meeting new people. In my spare time I exercise, meet
up with friends or just enjoy a quiet night with my room mates. During the past years I have lived in
Thailand, Australia, Sweden and now Im located in London. Exercising is really important to me and
when I travel I prefer a destination with access to outdoor sports such as scubadiving, sailing or
snowboarding/skiing. Over the past years I have had various volunteer assignments within two
different non-profit organisations. I am dedicated, enthusiastic and always up for a new challenge in
life.
