McCormack Ctr. Everyone bring finger foods/snacks to share and we will
have a great time of fellowship together.
Trunk N Treat - Wednesday, October 29th
6:30pm - 8:00pm
We need volunteers to decorate your car/trunk for this outreach ministry to the
community AND we need candy donations. You can bring your donations
now and leave in the foyer.

A table is set up in the foyer for you to place cards to our pastors. We are a
very blessed congregation and community to have such gifted and truly caring
pastoral staff. Please take this opportunity to show our pastors and their
families how much we really do appreciate them. Gift cards are great!!!
Jail Ministry
Each week, we have a team of ladies visiting the Womens Pod at the
Franklin County Jail on Mondays or Fridays at 9:00am. We are able to
present a Bible Study/Devotional with them for about 30 minutes. Then we
spend about 30 minutes listening and loving on them. We give each
woman a Bible and a folder with writing paper, envelopes and stamps. Also in
the folder is a Talk to Me sheet where they can fill out information about
themselves and share prayer requests. This is an avenue of communication
with them. This is voluntary on the part of the woman. There are usually 12
to 25 ladies that participate each week. They thoroughly enjoy the
participation and especially the hugs. For many of them, this is their only
physical contact with people. If you would like to be a part of this life changing
ministry, please see Carla Turner, Jeannie Frederick or call the church office.
Next NYC payment is October 15th - $100

should vote "Yes" on Amendment 1 in November's election?
