Activity: Briefing and Site Preparation Erecting Tents

The activity of camp craft was the start of all the activities in this BIG
programme which indeed enhancing my skill on build the tent up. Certainly, this
activity has been done before in TESL camp back then in foundation course,
however practice makes perfect, the idea of doing the same things again and again
would produce satisfaction in oneself.
In addition, the togetherness would be achieved as this activity really needed
everyone to help one another to ensure the tent could build up especially among the
members that would stay in the same camp. The tolerance and give and take should
be there when it came to the group work.
Moreover, this activity also helped me in terms of communication skill which
surely two-ways communication should be effective in order to ensure the
information and the messages were successfully sent. For example, everyone
should listen and communicate effectively to ensure the camp was build up in the
right way and also during the briefing everyone should listen the exact way to set up
the tents rather than talking to one another.
In brief, even this activity looked like light and small thing but, there were lots
of benefits and hidden relevance for all the students.

Activity: Water Safety and Confidence

Undoubtedly, this was the best experience ever which really opened up my
mind that water was no harm to all the people as long as everyone knew how to
handle the safety of one and the confidence was the must to everyone. However,
safety was the priority as the coach firstly asked to everyone whether they were
people who knew and expert on swimming. Thus, the one who mastered could
become the guard who held the rope all over students who could not include me,
myself.
Furthermore, the coach taught steps by steps to everyone in order to let
everyone had the smooth learning process. Indeed, both theories and practical were
needed to ensure my friends and I got the clearer picture on how to be confident
swimming in the water especially in the sea. Surely, there was activity which needed
individuals and pairing; however, both prioritized the idea of confidence in the mind
and also physical.
In short, this activity really helped and guided me a lot in order to be confident
in water and also became the first start for the one that did not know on how to swim.
Therefore, I really enjoyed and appreciated this kind of activities which developed
everything in oneself.

Activity : Kayaking

Certainly, this was the best memorial moment when I did not have the
experience at all at kayaking, but in this programme I got the opportunity to involve in
this activity. There were lots of advantages since all of us are the future teachers,
therefore, indeed the mentally and physically strength should be the priority for all.
There was the briefing for the theory on the terms that should be used when it
came to kayaking activity, for example, blade, paddle, bow and many more. This was
my first time joining this kayaking theory class and really helped me a lot during the
kayaking.
Indeed, for the beginner, there were many difficulties that faced in order to
control the kayak especially for those who did not have the experience at all like me.
Having the experience of kayaking with my partner, Hanis really taught me the
meaning of collaboration and tolerance as both of us did not have the experience
before which two of us needed to remember the theory that had been presented by
the coach. Certainly, theory and practical should be hand-in-hand which practical
without theory would be failing the one to control the kayak.
Furthermore, communication skills also needed to be efficient as the person in
front should listen to the guidance from the person at the back. If the person at the
back did not know to guide the person at the front, thus, the chaos would be happen,
for example, the kayak would be directed to the wrong direction. This was really
happening to me. However, we managed to control and face this difficulty as both of
us relax and calm ourselves then tried to control the kayak wisely. Indeed, the patient
and effective communication skill helped us to solve this problem.
In brief, this activity was very meaningful to me as lots could be learnt and if I
had chance to join this kind of activity, certainly, I would become the one in front who
volunteer to be the first.

Activity : Logo presentation and groups flags

As everyone knew, the logo and flags were priority for all the members in the
group as these were the identity for the group. Indeed, the discussion in producing
significance flag was very important as everyone involved in giving the ideas to
ensure the flag and logo would be meaningful for the group.
First and foremost, the discussion took about 5 to 10 minutes, then my
members and I started to sketch and draw the flag and logo on the white cloth that
had been given by the lecturer. Everyone was so excited to draw and paint it with
different colours that significance to our identity.
The best part was when; I became the presenter with my member, Atiqah to
present our beautiful and memorable flag and logo. Certainly, this activity required
both of us to explain the significance each of line that we drew and also each colour
that we coloured.
In short, the idea of collaboration, teamwork, enhancing the thinking and
creative skills and many more were achieved from this kind of activity.

AFTER THE
PROGRAMME OF
BINA INSAN
GURU
(BIG

During the Moral Building Teachers program is implemented, I found that there
are some things to be proud of and regarded as the strength of this love Passion
program. First, from the beginning of the selection process and the
establishment of a committee, then to the division of tasks, meetings and to the

implementation of the activities and paraphernalia return at the end of the day,
we always work together. Clearly demonstrated the nature of belonging, the
saying goes, "the same weight bear, same light togetherness". All committee to
help one another in an effort to make the program successful and achieve its
objectives. We also succeeded in conspiring to impose a uniform dress to be able
to raise our image as a respected teacher trainee.
The strength of this program can be seen on our existing experience factors in
planning a program. Many of our class members who already have experience in
handling this kind of program before, so most of the task to be easy. For
example, many diplomatic dealings, correspondence and the process of getting
approval from the administration to accelerate because we have the skills and
knowledge needed to accomplish the task.
The strength of this program can be seen next in terms of the population of East
Teloi Felda itself. This is because their attitude is always friendly and eager in
doing activities with us during the course of this program. In addition, they are
also a lot of cooperation and full support in seiap activities. In fact provision of
places and areas for activities and equipment also helped in the success of this
program. For example, during morning exercise and thereby strengthen mutual
cooperation relations between us. We also feel valued and worthwhile plan Bina
Insan Guru program in place.
However, there are still some holes and weaknesses that need to be improved so
that harmful outcomes and objectives designed reached. First in terms of
weather, throughout the three days and two nights are there not as volatile
weather climate. But what of course, it will rain in the morning or evening in one
day. Although the council has provided however, the arrival of pupils adopted
brother cum we were interrupted. They had to wait until the rain stopped just to
attend the hall and this indirectly affects the smooth running of the program
planned.
The second disadvantage is that time. Over three days, two nights we were there
our time and her sisters did not lift much. We can only see them after they come
home from school and also at night. Most of the time we have distributed to
other programs and activities.
Thus, the proposal that I have made to overcome this problem is in the future
and as a guide for junior students so maybe when undergoing Moral Building
Teacher of the fourth series, make sure the selected date is not met with the
school day and may be more helpful if the program as is done in the school
holidays. Weather problem can also be solved if the selection is done by
reference terikh weather report if there are activities that require extensive rural
hall. Thus, the program has been planned trip goes smoothly.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, the results of observations and experiences encountered during

the past three days and two nights we need to have careful planning starting
from the establishment of the committee until the post-mortem meeting to
successful programs and to attract attention. make other people's experience
and past experience as a guide in making a wise judgment to face the problems
ahead.
In addition, a prospective teacher should live together with the community to
experience and be familiar with community activities such as gotong royong,
reading activities Yassin and others because it can help the teachers when sent
to teach in the future. Each community background of a society is different and
teachers must know tips and ban if to place people. So, through these programs,
teachers are trained to observe and try to adapt to the community by using
social skills such as communication.
Finally, to be a successful teacher a teacher must be able to perform a useful
social interaction with the community as teacher role as social agents in the
community than the reference school. The teacher is to encourage socialization
in society through education of the new generation full of challenges and also
through integration across the curriculum, religion and race but also can
substitute teacher leaders because leadership qualities and attitudes that are the
responsibility of the teachers.
