"Understanding the sales and distribution process."


3) Project Objective


To understand the functioning of B2B type of business by close focus on the sales
and distribution functions at rubber industry. To understand about the sales channel
of the Kay Vee Rubber Industry. To study the perception of the Buyers towards the
Kay Vee Rubber industry.


4) Methodology to be adopted


RESEARCH METHODOLOGY:- In any study of research a proper reason of
analysis is essential for reaching the goal or an effective solution to the problem.
This reasoning can be done in a research study with the help of research
methodology. Research methodology is a way to systematically solve the problem.
It may be understood as a science of studying how research is done scientifically.
The present study is on understanding the sales and distribution process. Sample
Size: As the Kay Rubber Industry is in a B2B business, therefore keeping this in
mind sample size will not be large but suitable enough to fulfill the purpose of the
project report. Sample unit: sample units will be the various stakeholders of a
company buyers of company product and etc. Survey Design: The survey is based
on the primary source of data. Prominent methods of primary data collection are
selected to conduct the study namely Questionnaire, Personal Interview and etc.
Since the statements in the Questionnaire are qualitative, they are quantified on a
Likert scale. Respondents are asked to tick mark the appropriate scope on a point
continuum.some questions will also be ask on dichotomous scale to collect the
information from respondents. Method of Sampling: There are two major heads
under which sampling techniques can be classify, between them Non probability
sampling will be suitable to serve the purpose of the study. Sources of data: The
data has been collected from both Primary and Secondary sources for the research
work. Primary Data: The questionnaire is chosen as a tool for collection of primary
data. It is one of the simple and reliable tool. . Secondary Data: Secondary data is
collected through the document provided by various concern Department, websites
and relevant books on sales and distribution management of the various authors
Data Analysis: The data, which was collected from the respondents through a
structured questionnaire, was organized, processed and tabulated on a data sheet.
They were analysed with the help of statistical tools in order to interpret the data
and draw conclusion.

Brief summary of the project report:- This project report helps in understanding the
functioning of B2B style of business where focus is to gain the knowledge of sales
and distribution management in an organization which belongs to Rubber industry.
This project report focuses to understand about sales channel and importance of
each sales channel in terms of their contribution in the better functioning of an
organization as a whole. This report also helps in assessing the perception of the
Buyers towards the Kay Vee Rubber industry on different dimensions such as after
sales service, pricing strategy and etc.
